At least three useful points in this short video. Great point about non-citrus vs citrus bioflavinoids too. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
I would love to see more of these videos. To help choose the quality supplement and your advice on when to take the supplement, and what not to combine. I've literally been taking notes on your videos, as I try to get a comprehensive view of supplements. They've been the most complete videos I have found! Especially since you go in depth in each area, thank you!
Thanks! tell us what topics and supplements you are most interested in and we will steer toward those topic first! We just love to answer questions and do research for our viewers.
So witch one would you say is better to take and is a better quality of vitamin c...and do you still recommend these two brands today..
Brands are not too important if they are members of the NPA and most health food brands are. I avoid the big box grocery store supplements because WalFart got caught more than once selling their supplements without any active ingredients, and I also suspect glyphosate toxicity in many supplements. I use ester C when people have indigestion or urinary symptoms from oral vitamin C. I use mixed C with bioflavonoids when C alone fails for protein synthesis pathways.
@@TheHumanCondition ..I order the solaray 1 and 1 like the one in the video....is that a good one..
I like solaray brand.
@@TheHumanCondition Good info and thanks for making me laugh, I avoid "WalFart" like the plague.
Thanks for sharing😊
I wish you would give us some suggestions on which brands, but I guess you aren’t allowed for whatever reasons.
i tend to use brands protected by the NPA members such as sprouts, natural grocers, and other family owned natural food stores. There are also brand sold to doctors only, and some can be very good. I may expand on this in a members area this year thank you for the suggestion.
I bought German cherry extract vitamin C, can this be eaten?
usually the extract is safe unless it says topical use only.
Hey Doc if i have sensitive skin that is unproblamatic no acne but would like to brighten it because I got darker due to my environment though i always wear sunscreen what can i use maybe capsules i can take that help
I have used activated charcoal orally and topically on skin especially patchy dark spots. Also consider estrogen detox metabolism for dark spots in women.
@@TheHumanCondition thanks
Hi so if you take these together you have complete vitamin c?
Vitamin C complex in nature would include over 8000 known bioflavonoids, which are densest in fruits, so its not possible to cover the entire flavonoid family in one food (or the carotenoids family from vitamin A). However, the need for vitamin C reduces when carbs are cut. See Paul Saladino on the chemistry of whole fruit and vitamin C in a carnivore diet. The flavonoids are very helpful, especially when combatting plant defensins.
Gnc vitc c 1000mg what is your opinion?
It depends. Its a great place to start. Are there problems with vitamin C supplement? sure. ITs better than drugs, and one can get more specific with fruits, or with mixed bioflavonoids, or low carb diets too.
I've never seen vitamin c with bioflavonoids ?
I like a 1:1 ratio
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
So what supplement do i take then? 99% contain abscorbic acid with riboflavs
I made this video for those just beginning. Pills can be helpful, but I think you could do better with other videos on how to extract more C and flavonoids from citrus fruits. Also don't forget that carnivores reduce their needs for vitamin C to nearly zero which is fascinating. Let me know what you think.
When I take Ester-C, it kills my stomach. Of course I bought a different brand
Really? thanks for telling us. I get it from regular C but not ester so far. I wonder if it had a contaminant?
Alkaline vit c the best
yes
Anyone knows if Atomy Vital Colour Vitamin C is good? 🙏🏻
IDK let me know how you like it.
Table water? You mean tap water?
oops! thanks
Really Karen!
asorbic acid is not vitamin c
You are right. I need to add more about synthetic C and citric acid artificial evils. Thank you!
What a horrible explanation. Did you assume we all went to med school?
Well I'll try to be more understood next time.
