A little tip: I opened my games tab in the browser and copied the html element that represents all the games (it has a search bar so you can group games). I made a python script that removes all the trash from the html and returns me the ordered list in bat in the right format with all the correct ids

tip: make a new desktop with ctrl windows and d (ctrl windows and arrows to switch between) and then you can just run the batch file and all the games will be on that desktop which will be out of the way

Yeah, but that will use A LOT more computer resources than using this method. Also good luck trying to run 30 full game applications at the same time and your PC not lagging. With this method you aren't actually running the game, you basically tricking steam into thinking you are. :)

You can, this program has never been linked to any game ban or VAC ban... would suggest you do more research on the topic though until you're comfortable running it. This script simply tells steam that you're running each game independently, it doesn't inject anything, hook any process or mess with any game code.

You can just right click on the .bat file you created and edit it from there, or you can simply delete the .bat file and open the txt file (whatever you named it) and save it as a .bat again after you finished editing it.

Absolutely not... this isn't injecting anything into a game this is simply telling steam that you have started the app and logs it as so. People have been doing this for like 10 years now and no recorded bans due to this... I've used it for a few years on and off and no issues. :)
I basically leave mine on forever xD until it starts to slow down a bit and needs a reboot or I lose power probably not the best idea but hey, PC failures only ever happen on startups :D lmao

It doesn't hook anything into the game process and doesn't interact with the game at all other than telling steam that you're running the .EXE so it's practically impossible to be banned. :) It's just running a script. There are some games that look for autohotkey running scripts but those games are pretty rare and they typically won't ban you rather just force close your game until you end the process, but this won't do that.
Look at your taskbar and you should see the steam IDLE icon open with little windows of whatever games you are idling... if not check the task manager and it will say it in there.

Don’t put yourself in offline or disconnect mode or u wont get the hours
when you dont get the hours you have to quit the game/close the idle hours program and it will refresh. hope this helps.

When running the bat file i get this error: Windows cannot find 'steam-idle.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
Sorry for the late reply, make sure the .bat you saved is in the same folder as the steam-idle that you downloaded and it will work. :)

The bat file is supposed to close, but then the apps are supposed to open, double check the lines of code and make sure you aren't missing anything.
