All species will go extinct some day, even us humans and that's a guarantee.
When we try to fix things that we've messed up, we almost always make it worst.
Nature will balance itself and species will go extinct in the process. We need to allow it to do so.
There is a great documentary about the vaguita. They tried capturing a breeding pair to try and bring their numbers up but when they "rangled" one into a makeshifit containment area within the ocean it died withing a few minutes due to stress, so they decided that it would be impossible help in breeding them. There's also a lot of poaching going on in their habitat area making it even worse.
Honestly man you're killing it with the info, narration, edits and resources you give to do research or activism. One of the best crafted channels i've found in a while and an interesting one at that! Awesome job keep it up

What about the spade toothed beaked whale? They were thought to be extinct for so long, and then two dead ones washed up in 2010, and those are the only none fossilized specimens we have.
Estimating animal populations is extremely hard on land. It's truly a guessing game in the ocean.
Okay but can you make a video about what we can do better personally to help these animals? Supporting charity is great but I feel like thats not enough for me to do. I want to do more physically! Even if Im not a scientist of biologist, how can I help?
