Idea: small dinosaurs being a nuisance, destroying gardens and such.

That Ali Awada stuff is amazing. Started watching his stuff a few months back and it’s how any future Jurassic world stuff should be made. Darker, grittier.

Personally I would like a TV show as well with the following being what I would like to see:
● a game of cat and mouse with a town in Washington being rated by Arctic troodon pack being based on the jurassic park the game.
● a episode bigfoot cryptozoological episode with a Yutyranuse in the Himalayas.

Absolutely loved this video - you have some great ideas! I especially loved the plot of the Spinosaurus episode. Can't beat a giant lake monster!
Also for your idea for episode 1 I really think it needs a scene where a bear comes out of nowhere and fights the raptors in a nod to the end of the first JP film 😂.
As for my own ideas - I'd love to see a story involving a father and son duo out hunting for Dino meat in a forest somewhere. We see the relationship between the pair unfold (perhaps the father has been distant recently etc.) but perhaps also along the way they encounter some human skulduggery too like drug dealers/poachers or something like that.
I think it'd be awesome to see a feature-length film centered around people trying to hunt the mosasaur. I'm thinking some sort of mixture between the WW2 film Greyhound and Moby Dick would work well for some reason.
Never actually watched Greyhound. I always see it pop up on Apple TV. Is it worth watching?

I have seen a certaint UA-camr being annoyed by the fact that a compy was shown getting hunted by a cheetah in the opening of Jurassic World Dominion and would certaintly dislike episode 3
But honestly, i think showing the struggles of the dinosaurs makes it even more suspensefull and realistic.
Well to be real, Compies are very dangerous in large numbers as well as when caught off guard, plus for Cheetahs, the only they have going for them is their speed and being honest, compies existing could also help Cheetahs regain a foot hold as their existence is a disaster.
Also, I am surprised someone is more annoyed with that rather than at the end of Dominion, there is a little girl playing with a Moros.

I love this idea. Making a bunch of different stories around the world, with different situations and characters, could really pay off. The Sarah Harding cameo is another great idea.

I think a Jurassic anthology TV show would be perfect. I’ve even come up with a few ideas for episodes
One idea I had was a rancher having to deal with a pair of Allosaurus’s eating his cattle. So he has to find a way to stop them from eating all his animals.
A summer camp during the summer gets overtaken by a group of Velociraptors as both counselor and camper have to try and survive.
A local neighborhood is becoming a hotspot for Pterosaurs so the parents have to constantly worry about the Pterosaurs snatching up their pets or kids
A circus needs a new attraction so they try to tame a Stegosaurus
These are just a few ideas I had. I really think a series like this has potential
Love it! Yeah I was actually thinking of a story about a Carnotaurus attacking a ranch. Something about a big carnivore in a rural area is just really appealing. Love the other ideas too. The last one with the Stegosaurus reminds me a little of the 'Valley of Gwangi".

Yeah, those ideas could work! Worldwide dinosaur encounters, yet the stories are personalized in a way that contains the scenario to that individual character or characters!

My add on is the Carno's from Lost World. The franchise has not used the camouflage potential that the scene with the Carno's sets.
So many great backgrounds could be used: log cabin in the woods, camouflaged against brickwork in a darkened city alley, a base near deforested jungle, mining camp on the edge of temperate. Population dwindling, people missing, and nobody can figure out why, but at night, occasionally, the wind sounds like a breath that's not your own.

Ive git a few ideas for a show like this. Id like to see herbivorous dinosaurs attempting to live with modern animals, such as stygimoloch possibly trying to coexist with a herd of mountain goats, or a herd of gallimimus with a flock of ostrich, mabye being hunted by lions or hyenas. Mabye a story of a family of psittacosaurus or microceratus living in a familys backyard and watching in a kind of filmed format (like that video of the groundhog eating a guys garden). Mabye there are poachers who have been tracking aquatic reptiles like ichthyosaurus and plesiosaurus and attempting to catch and sell them to aquariums or private collectors. Id like to see a mix of exiting and peaceful scenes

Considering you were watching Jurassic world, and not water world or aquaman, I’d say you might be confused.
What about an episode about dinosaurs having to survive in an urban enviroment? It dosen't have to be in a big city but in the suburbs or a farming community. The dinosaurs can be a couple of dog-sized animals like Troodon or Ornitholestes or something and they have to survive by killing livestock or scavenging from trashbins all while avoiding human detection.
Could be a fun sort of role reversal where dinosaurs are running from humans instead of the other way around.
Cool idea! It sort of reminds me leopards surviving in Mumbai.
I would pay CASH MONEY to watch a show with all of those stories. So glad you brought up that a mosasur preventing fishing boats from going to certain areas could actually help endangered populations make a come back. Imagine the conversations and character moments. Jurassic Park is my favorite movie and I desperately want to get back to that tone and level of story telling about dinosaurs. The cat-and-mouse plot with the raptors was my favorite and it would make for an amazing premise for a full-on movie.
I’ve always wanted to see a pack of raptors hunt people in a grocery store. Especially in the back, jumping and weaving through shelves and boxes, and tricking a raptor into jumping into the baler to crush it
Idea: some cryptid hunter encounters a sauropod in Africa, a tie-in to the Mokele Mbembe cryptid

I thought of one while watching this, like the braceasorus (or however you spell any of there names) like it maybe finds its way somewhere in a forest, maybe it could be about a group of teens who want to help it or something, so maybe somehow they befriend the Dino and it’s like fun, but then one day some other Dino’s come and try to eat everyone but the 🦕 saves the day or something like that (maybe could sacrifice itself to make it more a heartbreaking story) maybe also like some adult don’t agree at first but then like accept the 🦕 in the area (if we did the 🦕 sacrificing itself then they would be sad they didn’t accept it in time) then at the end maybe other 🦕 could like come along and be with the town/village or something (only idk where in the world it would take place in)
Now this sounds like a great idea for a series . I had the idea of something similar, but instead it would a series with season 1 episodes set during the Jurassic park , a second season set during the jw trilogy , and a possible third season set after the events of JW Dominion

The Real Best Idea for a Series is Kinda of a Global Rangers make a Park to rescue and contain all species in one place, like Isla Sorna, or whatever, some Island, like Madagascar, A real DINO PARK RESERVE. Due to gene splicing in last few decades some mutant "evil" dinos appear, they are the new threat even to humans as the OG dinos.
Love the ideas here! I’ve been thinking about a show based around members of the same group Claire etc were a part of at the beginning of Dominion, freeing captured dinosaurs and dealing with issues they may face in the wild like the scenarios you’ve come up with. Based around a procedural set up like Primeval or The X-Files.
It really is such a shame dominion failed to deliver on the whole premise of calling it the World trilogy in the first place.
The X-Files cross Jurassic World would be amazing.

A group of fishermen, and a few Ludodactylus (jp3 pteras), but the ludos are tamed and assist in fishing, and get a share of the catch.

Also, you don't have to worry about calling for backup on cellphones. In this scenario, government resources are drawn thin defending bigger towns. A couple campers in the back country? Nobody is available to go out and get them

Mosasaurus starts spawning through parthenogenesis and the crew tries to contains the small Mosasaurus.
After Jurassic Park 3, I checked out. It became more about the human personalities and inconsequential characters. For example, doctor Grant, in the first one, was amazed yet weary because he was an expert paleontologist, and the dinosaurs were alive.
I didn't bother watching the others, I saw parts Jurassic World but again, the dinosaurs are the stars, supposed to be.
I have always hd a dominion centered Jurassic show as an idea since fallen kingdom and it’d be something like Yellowstone kinda mixed with Jurassic park. A ranch owner has decided to implement dinosaurs into their farm, riding trikes as a better alternative to horses, using atrocirators as hunting/herding animals, and maybe lystrosaurus oviraptor and other small dinosaurs as pig chicken you get the idea. The show would revolve around the struggle of living in a world with dinosaurs and the government trying to shut it down or people trying to steal dinosaurs stuff like that. We never got to see what the dinosaurs breaking out does to the common folk besides battle at big rock and j feel this show would do it perfectly. Could have a simple name like Jurassic Ranch

We wanted modern animals and dinosaur interactions, we wanted mosasaurus and more aquatic stuff. I don't wanted a random secret Italian mountain base.
The SCP 563 is a great idea for a Jurassic Park sequel. An ilegal dinosaur food trafficking ring located in Asia.
How about a plot that parallels the snake/mongoose experience. Dinosaur pest causes problems. A dinosaur predator is introduced to control the pest population. Pests are eliminated and the introduced species eats all the chickens.

The raptors in the first to films were scary because they were both intelligent and untamed. When Robert Muldoon exposites about the velociraptors in Jurassic Park he focuses on their speed, their intellect and finally their savagery. Mentioning that there was an animal that had killed all but two of the others. The idea of tame raptors like dolphins at Sea World ruined the raptors as movie monsters. Blue the friendly raptor who loves Chris Pratt is a pretty good poster child for everything wrong with The World movies.
And don't at me with "but they're not monsters!" In the context of these films (and even the first two novels) they very much are movie monsters. Same as The Alien, Michael Myers or The Thing. This is not an educational film, none of these creatures bare an excessive resemblance to their historical counterparts.

Dominion wasn't a mind blower for certain, the movie's short comings were certainly hindered by the uh Plague of 2020, which certainly hinder the production, remember, momentum is beyond valuable.
One thing I would like to see, as weird, if raptors are gonna be seen, the animals will need a touch up since well, to appease a few crowds from feathers ot featherless, a good example I seen are from Ark, Zoo tycoon 2 (Favorite raptor to be honest as well as the Utehs.) Plus as weird as it sounds, I would like the raptors to use their intelligence for more than just killing.
However since the dinos are off Isla Nublar, many viewers seem annoyed or something like "oh it ruins the wonder of them" and I am like, yea, but if you live on the East coast, urban, partially developed, how often are you just awed by a deer in the wild? I will say, each and every time.
Plus we can see the dinos in different environments rather just tropical as well as possibly rewrite the animals in new ways and I maybe a small minority but it feels the idea of having animals as villians or antagonists is waning to the point it feels silly.
Heck, I think it can make a mash up very interesting, like lets say in Africa, why one wouldn't want to see Park rangers going after Poachers except oh hey, some raptors are there and guess what, the poachers and the poached were easy meals for the raptors, not its a 3 way standoff, one side has to lose, by lose meaning 2 of said groups brutally offs 1.
Or maybe a season that follows some interviewers going to a raptor ranch in some country side, of course we learn the interviewers are really poachers, you are given suspense and quickly learn that the place is run by a few ranch hands, but owned by one man and a kid from an extended family who is there due to some nasty disagreement in court. Of course the poachers and the viewers are instilled with paranoia thinking "oh the raptors are getting in and out", but of course it turns out, its the raptors from JP3, except the entire ranch was really a retirement home.
I haven't even watched the Jurassic World sequels. The trailers already showed that it was conceived by hack writers who simply grabbed some other blockbusters formulas out of a hat and imposed it on the Jurassic universe.
I say this as a writer and author, please go watch some stuff on film theory and you would actually be able to critique the issues with Jurassic World: Dominion

I think there are already some great critiques on "Dominion" out there from people who understand film better than me, so I didn't really want to focus on things I didn't like about the movie, but rather what I'd like to see from the franchise moving forward. If I make another video discussing movies, I'll make sure to read up or watch more about film theory before drafting the script. Thanks again.

I Think it is a really good idea but if you better understood some concepts like film language and stuff then you could have really put together some episodes that would be like omfg that's good.
I like your work and have been watching for a long time. I guess that, given my profession I found this a tad frustrating cos you were so frickin close to genius here. The only thing missing is a little knowledge on how films are written, how tropes are used and why and how film language often needs to override real world logic (the needs of the plot can often outweigh the needs of reality).
I just thought I would add some constructive criticism and I hope I did not offend you in any way or come off as combative as I really did enjoy this and while I am here thank you for all the content it is thoroughly enjoyable and your voice is very soothing.

This means I liked it a lot and I cannot get the thought of that raptor episode out of my head; make raptors scary again!

You know, I'm pretty sure that in a world full of dinosaurs, gun ownership would skyrocket and would even be encouraged. It would be standard practice to take guns everywhere. "Going to take out the trash? Don't forget your rifle!"
Those kids hiking in wooded areas in a world full of dinosaurs? Yeah, that idea would be considered idiotic. Even if they went on with it, they'd insist on a larger group for safety, and everyone would be armed to the teeth. Same with the one in Burundi.
Hiking trails and national parks would be closed or patrolled by armed security teams at all times.
To do the episodes as you described would require the people to be helpless and dumb. At the very least, it would require the complete lack of logic to work.
However, it could work if you somehow disarmed or separated them. It's just that people would be forced to take absolutely no unnecessary risks if they wanted to survive in that kind of world.
Your idea about the campers and raptors is interesting, but who would be dumb enough to go camping in a huge forest when they know that dinosaurs are loose all over the world? Those campers would certainly be falling into the most obvious trope. 🤷♀️

Agree if the show was about the dinos, how the park is created etc actual lore and plot driving stories. It would make it better, fill in gaps and can even leave unanswered questions, answered.
Disagree if it follows today's standards for a TV programme. A back or white trans gay kid with family problems discovering themselves while protecting dinosaurs with a female lead that does nothing... just for us to get 10secs on the dinosaurs and more on the people.
