    It seems like xsoft is perfectly fine on these pads.
    The weave seems a lot tighter than zero. It seems the xsoft provides a lot more stopping power on these as well than the soft.
    Is that right?

    • @notblazedfordays9536
      @notblazedfordays9536  2 роки тому +2

      Yes, the big thing about the xsoft for me that I liked the most was the extra bit of stopping power and control you get with being able to push into the pad a little more. I am using a hien soft that I just got in to try out. Been using it for 2 days now and have been kind of liking the little extra bit of speed for building and editing in fortnite, but my accuracy seems to be not quite as good.

    Don't use glass super glides with the hien, it causes too much friction during long gaming sessions and slowly gets rid of the light speed coat ontop of the mousepad, the stock PTFE feet or tiger ice, corepads, etc are perfectly fine tho

      I personally don’t like ptfe, so I would recommend the superglides. They are extremely fast at first but so slow down after about 2-3 weeks and are very consistent and smooth after that 2-3 week period. I think they are the best skates for making micro adjustments. I have a superglide glide test series on my channel that I did that you should check out to give you a better idea of what you should expect with superglides. It’s a 7 part series if you’re interested.

      @@CrocEnjoyer I think superglides are best with a hien/hien type pad or a cordura pad. But I did use superglides with my Venus for a couple months before I decided I wanted a bit more speed and got a hien. Some people say that the superglides will create a slow spot on cloth pads but I haven’t experienced that. I am actually using Peepeeboys gwolves ceramic dots on my LGG venus currently. You should check out the gwolves ceramic dots. I actually prefer them over the superglides. They have excellent speed but because of the small surface area of the dots they’re easy to push down into the pad for good control as well. But I prefer dots and superglides over ptfe for sure. Thanks for checking out my superglide glide test series! I hope it helped you out a bit! Lmk if you have any other questions man!

      @notblazedfordays9536  Рік тому +1

      It does create some slow spots eventually. Took about 4 months for it to become somewhat noticeable for me but they now have the v2 superglides. I’m not sure how those are but from what I hear they’re definitely better than the first superglides. I was rocking an artisan hien soft for about 6 months or so and used the v1 superglides for approximately 3 months and then my body got me to try gwolves Peepeeboys ceramic dots which I absolutely loved. If you’re after speed and want more consistency with a bit more of an ability to have stopping power then I would say go with the Peepeeboys ceramic dots.

    • @notblazedfordays9536
      @notblazedfordays9536  Рік тому +1

      I will say though that if you really want consistent speed and don’t want to risk slow/muddy spots then go with a glass pad. I’m currently rocking the polarity edition superglide pad with tiger ice dots on my DAV3 and I absolutely love it and don’t see myself getting off glass anytime soon. Been using the superglide pad for about 4-5 months I wanna say

      @@klanwartilibebot it’s probably the battery again. You should get some double sided tape or some superglue when you reapply it. You can 100% take off the glass skates and reapply! I always do it with a hairdryer and heat up the skates for 5-10 seconds, very very slowly and carefully pry up the skate with a pry tool. Then do the same thing with the other skate. I’ve been able to remove and reapply superglides many times. The first time I did it I did break one side one time but that’s because I wasn’t being careful and rushed it. I’ve successfully removed them without breaking them more than 10 other times.

      I’m not really into any ptfe. The only ptfe I can bare to use if I have to is the tiger ice. I definitely prefer the burnt out superglides over the tiger ice. Even though the superglides are pretty worn in I still find them easier to make micro adjustments with.

    Outstanding content, thanks for the dog. But I need your advice regarding and issue of mine. I have just received my Hayate Otsu Soft after having the Kou for over a year. I use a GPX with Corepad mouseglides. I switched because I felt that the Kou was inconsistent on both the X and Y axis and overall in glide smoothness and speed. I have seen many reviews and heard only good things about the Otsu. How it is incredibly smooth and has some speed to it to. To my disappointment it feels very sluggish and less smooth than the Kou especially due to its unique texture. And because of this texture I can not use my arm sleeve anymore because it just gets stuck in the Otsu and I cant move my arm. Is this normal? I did not expect such a horrible experience with the Otsu. I paid 70 euros and this is by far the worst mousepad I have ever used. Rergarding the superglides, I have heard that they become very sluggish and inconsistent. But I am looking for a way to improve the experience on the otsu. Smoother and slightly faster. I play Valorant and in my opinion smoothness and consistency are the key factors on a mousepad because speed can be compensated with DPI. So what is your advice? What should I do to improve on the Otsu + GPX setup of mine.

    • @notblazedfordays9536
      @notblazedfordays9536  Рік тому +1

      I’ve heard a lot of people have issues with their armsleeves with textured mousepads. I am able to use my arm sleeve with a hien which is even more textured than an otsu and I don’t have any problems. I only wear the arm sleeve so my arms skin doesn’t get rubbed into the pad but I don’t find a sleeve to be necessary by any means. If your sleeves getting caught up in the pad I would recommend not wearing one at all but I would recommend taking a lint roller to your mousepad once a day before using it. You can reuse each sheet on the lint roller 2-3 times before switching to a new one. Yea the superglides do slow down quite a bit and become muddy but I wouldn’t recommend using superglides with anything but a hien, cordura, or vancer ice type of mousepad. I would recommend you try using Peepeeboys gwolves ceramic dots if you’re not liking the experience on an otsu with corepads. I have been maining the Peepeeboys gwolves ceramic dots for 4 months now and absolutely love them. I think they’re a great combo with the otsu. If you’re going to try the dots I recommend you put them on top of your corepad skates. Otherwise if you take off the corepad skates and use just the ceramic dots by themself then the lip of the gpx will get scraped on the mousepad because the height of the dots isn’t quite high enough on their own. I hope this helps!

      @@notblazedfordays9536 thank your for your in depth advice. I myself use an armsleeve out of the same reason as you do. I also find that a consistent glide feel on the arms is better for aiming. The corepads seem pretty high to me. Wouldnt it pose a problem if I put the gwolves on top of it? (I did completely remove everything of the original factory glides so there is nothing under the corepads.)

      @@carboncopy8 The ceramic dots also come with little circle white spacers which are probably a little bit lower than the corepad ptfe. I haven't personally had an issue sticking them on top of any stock ptfe that came with the mouse.
