They made a great deal selling the team but a bad deal selling back the TV rights. 2014 is right before the NBA made a another huge jump in popularity and now the TV deals are massive. In 2023 the NBA would have to pay them billions for the rights to the royalties back.
Like the video stated said, both brothers were 71 and 72, and didn’t want kids to inherent the contracts.. i think 500million is enough to live the rest of your life on especially when you no longer have ambition to build business empires.
