Correction. The clip at 7:49 is of the Tamil film Ratsasan, not Anjaam Pathira. The new editor requires a crash course in thrillers across languages. Apologies!
My unpopular opinoin is that Indian Tv industry also take risk & do experiment but due to low budget, popularity all ended as daily soap or weirdly. Who's fault is that ??
If editor is new, he must have shared the video with you before releasing it on UA-cam and it's your channel, you should have seen the error. not that it's a grave mistake. it happend.. but it's your fault too.. Dont blame the editor alone.
On Nostalgia baiting, i remember Art Guy Rob from Pogo M.A.D said in a podcast, "Millennials keep telling me, we miss you and your show. Why dont you bring it back? But i tell them that they dont miss me, but their childhood"
Man, I loved that show and art attack. I don't think Rob is just nostalgia bait coz I still watch his yt videos from time to time and it still makes me excited.
Hope so the comeback of Priyadarshan does not end up like a Nostalgia bait, I feel no as Priyettan was not a flop star like Fardeen and Imraan and actually got public love and even he is not making masterpieces but atleast making watchable films like Corona Papers. Now the goodwill depends on his documentary.
@@amalo.vergaming4605 I feel this is not good to mock another religion. Adipurush hurt many sentiments but dont do the same with such a comment about a another belief system
I feel that the TV industry does justice to such epics just cause it's more open and has long telecasting time. One of those is MAHABHARAT (2014) on star plus. I remember watching it as a kid and it's still one of my favourites.
I remember watching ramanand sagar's Ramayan and B.R Chopra's Mahabharat and Vishnupuran in lockdown. That was something pure and seemed realistic. Also I don't hate 2014 Mahabharat because its amazing too.
The Star Plus Mahabharat will always remain special for it's on point casting, beautiful portrayal of characters & marvellous background music scores ❤
@@TriedRefusedProductions my unpopular opinion is Rakhi was giving better albums than Nora but lack of reels and promotion in those days restricted her progress and then she faded off. 😅
Absolutely agree, especially with Rashmika's performance in Animal. Though I really wish she didn't do films like Varisu, but i somewhere get why she did those. Really looking forward for her upcoming projects, she is having a great lineup
I am looking forward to The Girlfriend. She is quite talented. I do think she has done enough movies to demonstrate her commericial viability so perhaps we will see her do more movies that allow her to demonstrate her range viz. Animal, Geeta Govindam, Dear Comrade ...
What you said about Imran Khan and Fardeen khan was absolutely spot on..i totally agree with you about the fact that ppl getting excited and eager about their comeback is mainly coz of the nostalgia value and not coz of the "Talent" as actors
Brother,Glad you had mentioned the Vijay Devarkonda reality check,He had 6 Flops consecutively.I hope he will Comeback with his next film with Goutham tinnanuri.
6??? It's 5 commercial flops (Dear Comrade, World Famous Lover, Liger, Kushi, Family Star), out of which Dear Comrade is loved by many today (including myself)
In my opinion, Geetanjali from "Animal" was a really strong character. She never tolerated his nonsense and consistently held up a mirror to him. Those slaps were incredibly satisfying to watch. Even at the end, she was on the verge of leaving but stayed, possibly because there's a part 2. I hope her character remains just as strong in the sequel. Rashmika performed incredibly well in that confrontational scene; it stayed with me for a long time, and my heart went out to her.
All the points you raised are completely valid! 1) At least give a chance to Ramayana with its first look/ teaser and then comment rather than spreading hate and being judgmental over just some blurred photos 2) Imran and Fardeen were just mediocre doing the same thing in every film. 3) Rashmika was really good in that Animal scene.
I was controlling myself not to comment on any topic, but OMG !!! you dropped a huge bomb about Sushin vs Anirudh. as non native fan of both industries and having experience both their works specially of Sushin's in his last movies Manjumel Boys and Aavesham, he took the trophy in my leader board, Anirudh can make your blood rush in theaters with his BGM but Sushin can make you sit on the edge of the seat and groove you with his songs later even after coming out. Almost all his songs are in my playist, the range is awesome from Melody, Rap, Rock, even Metal (Theeru Cheepu) 🤩🤩
The one movie where I actually rooted for Rashmika was Animal. Her character and that bedroom argument scene was so impactful, it literally felt connected with real couples who have their own share of bedroom arguments. I have to literally console my partner who was sobbing for her and hating Ranbir's character to core.
Agree with you on Rashmika in Animal. This is probably gonna be more controversial but till Animal, I never took Rashmika seriously as an actress. It doesn't help that my first time watching a Rashmika film was Sarileru Neekevaaru(a movie I hate so much I made a drinking game out of it). Even in Pushpa, the movie I enjoy as does my father, we rarely bring up Rashmika as a big plus point. That changed with Animal. A friend of mine was not kidding when she said she roared like a lioness
Vijay shouldn't try to be the next pan india star.... But choose interesting characters and give us what we loved when we first saw him..... The rawness of a brilliant performer 🤞🤞
you could say lottery. but that man gave away 5 years of his career to make one movie which is an extremely bold move. and transformed his body and maintained it for years which requires a whole lot of working out and diet restrictions. we can easily say bahubali now.but the budget that was put on bahubali is waaaayyy above any industries box office. the whole team went through so much physical and mental stress . sure he made shit movies after that and has got 3 disasters in a row. but people talk about prabhas as if he didn't have a career before bahubali. he got a hit with saaho, kalki looks promising. how about waiting before calling him lottery star @@anandam1
@@anandam1 I will give Prabhas a little credit for trying different genres at least. All his films post Bahubali are different genres. So I think he still has it in him to choose good scripts. I guess because she got trolled a lot for the trailer and for her dialogue delivery again people judged only by looking at a clip, but also then in the movie she was mostly in the background only in the confrontational scenes she was highlighted.
When Kareena was rejected and trolled doing a role for Sita, where she was considered not fit to do Sita because she married Saif a muslim, thats so sad India had to think like this
Exactly. They are full judgemental for an actress. But they are ready to shut their eyes when Ranbir is playing Shri Ram character. He eats beef, is a womanizer. Okay that's secondary. But I don't get the double standards of Indian audience.
My exact point was also that, the current casting of Sita also shows how regressive the movie team is and also the dirty double standard.I am really curious about this movie 's box-office result.
Again, why these actors and actresses who have never appreciated Hinduism and Hindu/Indian culture(apart from financial benefits) should suddenly get accepted as god or goddess by public that the movie is mostly marketed at?
@@MobileQuestASMR tbf I've seen alot of questioning regarding Ranbir portraying Ram too. i understand there exist a hypocrisy on these matters but this is not it.

People dont have to like Ranbir the person, sure but to doubt the actor??? Come on man, so disingenous and unfair imo That brother has done barfi and jagga jasoos displaying the innocence and naivety And the leadership display with animal, A mix of both and this guy will cook
Agreed but don't take example of animal, cause that was an one dimensional character while lord ram isn't (unless the movie will just show the story as simply good vs evil instead of exploring the complex philosophical themes)
He is just okay as an actor not excellent. Most Indian actors are just okay. I don't know of any who can match Marlon Brando in Godfather or some other top-class Hollywood actor. Many are okay but they are not versatile - Barfi is an overrated movie and so are the performances - many scenes were cliched and stereotypical.
FAFA was actually correct, indian audience dont deserve to talk about cinema, criticizing an actor for his personal life, because the more they discuss about films the more negativity they will spread in the society
Do you forget how real life incidents are used to boycott will Smith, amber Heard etc in Hollywood? Indians should stop thinking we are the worst in the world. We are audience that make hit every kind of genre of movies, music, dance. Indian actors want demi god status but don't want cons that come along with it. If you make statements about religion, country etc and expect all people to still support them? There are pros and cons for that just accept it. Or just talk only about your craft.
What people don't understand is when ranbir and rashmika was fighting in that scene their children were sleeping in the same room. So she can't shout at him and wake them up so that whole forceful whispering is quite on point.
She got more hate on the trailer and for her dialogue delivery because none of us knew where that scene would be placed, they should’ve used another scene to put there in the trailer
@@ashnita1130 no that scene came later and she got criticism for the dialogue “Tumhare papa ke liye pyaar jog nahi rog hai.” Him grabbed her neck shot came later in the trailer

"Crisis" word was probably used as many of the A-list actors of Bollywood are currently facing a low-point in their career, be it Akshay, Salman, Aamir, Ranveer, Ayushmann. Same with the females like, Deepika & Kangana.
They are changed every five years and may play mother to previous co star. What should he talk about. The never shortening gap between characters aged or the fact what they're not considered bankable but just pretty faces. In that respect south has many actresses who have been bankable😊and encouraged. Soon deepika will play ranbirs mom.
I was just about to say this! There has been a rise of female directors and actors: Alankrita, Konkana, Shefali Shah, Tilottama... there's no mention of any of them. Kiran Rao's Laapata Ladies is getting admiration from everywhere and he has the nerve to say "Bollywood, represented by all these men, is in crisis". This deep seated preconception that Bollywood is defined by its male actors... ab iske baare mein hum kya hi bolien...
About rashmika case is, people started to hate her before animal for various and different reasons and so when she did a fabulous job in animal they just don't want to accept it, they found something in it without knowing the context and bashed for it all around and want to ignore the rest
She got trolled allot for the trailer and her dialogue delivery and in the movie her character was mostly shown standing in the background, she wasn't highlighted as much, only in the confrontational scenes the spotlight was on her, & tripti took the limelight because of the intimate scenes, which is so sad she’s a great actress and she has done so much better work in the past, but she got fame just for doing some intimate scenes.
Absolutely and fully agree with Jammy on all opinions.Especially what you said about Imran and Fardeen. They have always been good lookers with suss acting skills. Anurag needs to stop as does Farhan. And Rashmika nailed her part in Animal. It’s sad that people don’t give her credit for it.
As someone who recently revisited Animal with an absolutely open mind and was completely floored by Rashmika in particular -- OH MY GOD YES!! As for the comebacks, well... I was no fan of either actor (and have had major eye-roll moments every time I saw a comment crying for an Imran Khan comeback) but I'm lowkey eager to see what they're like now, simply to see how their general life journeys will now bring out whatever the director asks of them.
Rashmika killed it in Animal the confrontation and dialogues and her body language I still don’t understand how she didn’t get enough credit for her performance

Imo, VDK's career choices are a combination of everything. Dear Comrade's failure made him choose Liger ( Commercial mass genre). Liger's failure made him choose feel good romcom films ( Kushi, Family star) which also failed. His offscreen attitude doesn't help either because that attitude requires strong scripts. Mediocre scripts will only bring heavy trolls. Maybe for someone like Nani, Kushi/Family star would have been Average at BO because of his offscreen attitude. VDK saw early fame, continuous hate from a few major star heroes fans, offscreen attitude, over estimation of his BO pull and so on. All these are the reasons for his downfall. Hope he comes back stronger but it is really difficult for him to become a star now. That time is gone.

You talk about Anjam Pathira but show visuals of Ratsasan! Sushin shyam deserves the accolades he is getting...... there are 2 more MDs as talented as him if not more.... Vishnu Vijay (mlayalam) Charan Raj (Kannada)
Im glad atleast someone spoke honestly about rashmika's performance. Instead of understanding the emotion she carried, most people attach themselves to that one dialogue which in real is the best dialogue delivery in the whole movie. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Agreeee with every single one of the opinions. Rashmika being absolutely brilliant in Animal and imran khan being a terrible actor are soooo spot on. Thank you!
I whole heartly agree with you Rashmika mam was brilliant and wonderful in animal. It hurts how she do not get a credit for that. I have not listened to Sushin shyam sir but i have followed Anirudh's sir work. His work is turning monotonous for past few releases.

Totally agree on the “comeback” of below average actors like Imran and Fardeen in today’s time where finally actors are getting their due rather than heroes in Bollywood… we don’t want just a chocolate boy anymore… I’d rather watch Vijay verma or Gulshan Devaiah…
Tamanna Bhatia has been in the film industry for along time, yet as graceful, beautiful and popular as she is.. I have only seen 2 notable acting performances... Happy Days (which I saw in 3rd year of college and was genuinely overwhelmed as our BTech years would also be ending soon) and Devi (horror comedy, jokingly dubbed in HIndi as Tutak Tutak Tutiya.. glad I watched the Tamil one with subs). She is part of project after project without the proects or her roles making any sense. A key part of us the Hindi audience learning about acting abilities of South film actresses has been because of Raj & DK - Priyamani, Samantha, Rashi Khanna ... who knew that they could showcase great acting performances too and not be the heroine used for eye candy. Nayanthara and Anushka Shetty have both truly evolved over the years. Sometimes you just need a movie/show maker to evoke a good performance. Look at Varun Dhawan in October, Badlapur, the 2 Dulhaniya movies, Bhediya and look at him in every other project, especially the ones directed by his father - who was a rage when we .. and Varun, were growing up, but his style is very outdated now.
Vijay deverkonda is the prime example of overconfidence the way speaks reflects that he considers himself as some kind of superstar even while being in flops he needs a more humble approach on screen as well as off screen
Rashmika did a great job in Animal. No matter what who says she did a great job.👏And she needs applause. I didn't thought before watching Animal thay she will do such a great act but have to appreciate her.
I thought rashmika was brilliant in a film like animal eventhough personally I didn't like the film. She was meant to play a southindian hence the dialogue delivery slightly different to what hindi speaking audience are used to. She did full justice to geetanjali. She has been proving her acting brillance since kirik party geeta govintham dear comrade days. There is definitely a group or campaign against rashmika and vijay. They are highly criticised trolled even before their releases. Especially rashmika God knows why. I hope rashmika mandanna gets her overdue acting credit with her upcoming projects.
I felt bad for Rashmika because she delivered a fantastic performance in that particular confronting scene in Animal. She deserved more appreciation. Also, both Ranbir and Sai pallavi look fantastic as Ram and Sita. I dont know why people can't welcome and appreciate new ambitious projects when the crew is really trying their best. Oh, and the ruckus that was created before Bhrahmastra for that beef eater controversy is so stupid. Also, Ranbir said he will only eat veg until the schedule of Ramayana gets completed. Bollywood has become an industry where people in social media can dump hate on, notwithstanding the fact they deserve any criticism or not. Everything is anti some religion if we only see everything through the lens of controversy and agenda. This is why I believe, the immense successs of Pathan brought back some positivity in social media. Those stupid boycott trends came to a stop, and positivity won over hate.
@@truth6074 I am a Hindu , and i am excited for ramayana , especially because of ranbir , the greatest thing for me , is if the crew and caste give their 100% in presenting this epic , and get it right just for once on big screen

Here's my unpopular opinion:- No actor ever will taste success as Khans did. Salman, Shahrukh and Aamir have created such a competition for themselves that today's actors won't find such competition. Varun, Vijay, Kartik etc will come and go but they cannot establish themselves as Superstar or Megastar.
Yes, it was also a different age and era, the age of the superstar is over everywhere, even in Hollywood, they have very few superstars left and all of them are from bygone era like Cruise, Denzel, Will Smith, etc.
It doesn't actually work like that bro. They are last stars BUT in our generation. I'm malayali so I can only speak in terms of Malayalam industries. During our grandparents time actors like premnasir and jayan where the superstars, the fanbase and craze actors like jayan created then where huge, people then believed they where the last of stars. But then came actors like mohanlal and mammotty.. they are the superstars of our parents and also somewhat our generation too, just like how the khans are for Bollywood. Soon their time will also end, we'll grow old and die. The next generation would know them only through their movies and not stardom. There will be new superstars, could be anyone. We feel like there won't be anyone else because we haven't experienced anything as big as the Khan's stardom. But that won't be the same for our kids and grandkids. The story continues.
@@harish123az not everywhere kid..the Hollywood is turning into a woke wood and started paying the price with disasters...soon they will switch to superstar movies...in bollywood also srk is the superstar and will be followed by Ranbir Kapoor.. even Salman Khan also will give a strong comeback
Thank you for this video, Jammy! These are my exact thoughts regarding VD, Rashmika, the new Ramayan, and Imran Khan. I do not know where to start. All of the media we are exposed to is either carefully engineered to evoke specific reactions or thrown at random to evoke any kind of reaction. At this point, it is difficult to say which of the fluff pieces are actually pre-planned and which ones are eventually just lazily drawn out. Totally agree with your views on Rashmika, VD, and Farhan Akhtar. And I love that you mentioned "Dear Comrade", which is never a movie that comes out of Tollywood- so nuanced, so beautifully thought-out. About the new Ramayan, I wonder if netizens even consider the fact that raw photos and footage are well, "raw", and that the final outcome is never the same. Do we need to remind ourselves constantly that the final product for ANY film is NEVER like this? Finally, my two cents on Imran Khan is nothing different from what you have already said: IK is not a striking actor who has ever given groundbreaking performances. It so happens that his limited range fit within the characters and story arcs for most of his films.

My unpopular opinion: Despite the rise in craving for content, especially from Bollywood, proper mass masala films should be done nevertheless, and superstars should be made. Considering actors based only on their "content", brings them only soo far with no proper base to stand by. This lead to crisis in Bollywood as Jammy stated. Not to say that content doesn't matter. Yes, Malayalam films hit with content, but not everything is being a cash-grab there. Bollywood needs to merge mass-masala with content like they did before, if they need to have a firm foot.
I think trying to make mass movies is exactly the problem with Bollywood and why it can't reach the heights of something like Hollywood, content driven movies are what educated people mostly like and Indians are constantly getting educated and have the means to look at Hollywood's content, ever since I have watched movies like Inception, fight club, the godfather, etc I can't watch the shitty movies that make 1000 crores by Bollywood
@@roronoauchiha69 bollywood is not able to make the masala films they made before. Just because there's a rise in educated people doesn't mean masala films should not be made, and doesn't mean only content based films should be made. Both should be made. Since ott indian audience can watch anything even a typical spectacle movie across various industries in india and Hollywood. Bollywood jumps on the bandwagon of tamil and telugu filmmakers who make mass movies. I don't think that'll last because it's always a hit and miss as not all directors from tamil and telugu can replicate their method in bollywood. New generation filmmakers in bollywood are not given a chance to earn their audience and old filmmakers are lacking in creating content that once used to work.

An unpopular or popular opinion rather, from my side would be Bollywood to actually analyse the movies from South specifically from Kerala rather than making a stale remake of the same movies. The industry which can spend a 100 crore+ on idk what should actually learn techniques and cinematography from Mollywood where in less than half of the budget spend by Bollywood they make movies which are top-notch. Also Jammy... being seeing your videos since the start of Covid. Looking forward for more such reviews
Jammy is back! Also, I completely agree with you on the nostalgia bait. I found Imran Khan so cute but I never thought of him as a good actor. A Bollywood comeback would be a debacle.
04:26 Fair point man. But I've seen him talking about this either on a Galatta interview or the slow interview series that Mishra sahab hosts (or the one In which Anurag sits down with Zakir Khan and Upmanyu. It's definitelyyyy one of these three lol). He said how, finally he can make movies that audiences will watch and hopefully earn money from them. He's also said how he's trying to move out of his rebellious phase and despite having strong stances on what he likes in the Hindi movie industry and what he doesn't, he is trying to make movies that aren't as much of a *genre film* as his previous works. So, I think it's fine. He is changing up his work and maybe we won't like it but he's still the guy who gave us bangers after bangers. And I'll always be hoping that he makes a *bloody* comeback hehe
Would love a deep dive episode on adapting literature to screen. Like how Vishal Bharadwaj delves into complex subjects with his take on Shakespeare and Ruskin Bond stories, and Sriram Raghavan building a story around an idea from a novel not usually well known to us.
I wouldn’t say Imraan Khan is a mediocre actor. The hype or nostalgia has nothing to do with how he carried a lot of his movies. Kinda harsh. But if you listen to his interviews, he’s very intentional, authentic, and raw. Which is missing a lot in actors nowadays
I just don’t feel anything after seeing Ranbir in his Ramayana get up. No hate to him or anyone else, but he just doesn’t have that face. That feeling when you see someone and they emits that pureness. Idk if I am making sense or not it’s just I feel like Ranbir is not the Ram type person. Maybe I am worng but I guess that's my opinion.
exactly that is wht i telling my brother previous day. there is this calmness, the gentleness on Lord Ram's face which apart from actor Arun govil nobody was able to pull, Lord Ram image is larger than life. And, Ranbir i think he would be excellent of charcater of Lakshman. And Sai pallavi, i love her ... but no she does not looks like Mata sita. no not at all.
@@akankshapravin1418 You got what I am actually saying. When I think about Lord Ram only Arun Govil's face comes to my mind. That gentleness, that calmness and the aura. Ranbir is a really good actor but I think he is not perfect for this role.
3:10 Jammy let me ask you something, if I openly humiliate you and shame you for your beliefs multiple times, then after some time, suddenly half heartedly say nice things about you, not because I regret my actions or I changed, but to elevate my “brand image”, and then expect you to be thankful, that I said nice things about you, how would you feel..sincerely? You will be even more angered than before. Now multiply the same behavior by decades and add international level humiliation, for no mistake, how would it feel? Bollywood can make money, but expecting people to “give leeway”, “be patient and understanding “, is a NO. Hell they are not nice to their own people who face personal tragedies, get a little fat, women who age, etc. Bollywood is a brutal place. They are bullies. No one is willing to be understanding to an entity that “intentionally “ hurts and then plays the classic victim card. Today if I get on internet and say chocolate ice cream is horrible, I will get trolled mercilessly, but if I make fun of Hinduism, then “it’s just an opinion”. Bollywood normalized making fun of Hinduism so much that, if you don’t play along then you are an extremist. So please pass the message to Bollywood, “ shut up, make money and most importantly, DEAL WITH IT “, Because that’s what we have been silently doing it for decades. What goes around ALWAYS comes around.
Instead of Ranbir Kapoor Saurab Raj Jain as Ram and arpit ranka as Ravana would have been spectacular. Tbh Saurab Raj Jain his calm demeanor would have been great for RAM.
Crazy intro bro ! TEVAR !!😂. Well coming to Rashmika part, even i accept that she was amazing in Animal. Yah she was foolish in the first part but after that she shines in many scenes. I can really empathise with her character of how she felt when she could see her husband destroying himself.
I feel like the thing with anirudh is the fact he is always bagged in for the big budget projects and most of the films that he is been doing are of the same genre whereas sushin gets to explore different themes because he belongs to the Malayalam film industry where various genres are being explores
I personally feel that any venture of his post 3 since Kaththi, Anirudh has followed the same track when it comes to background scores. There are still some old films like Jersey (Telugu); his debut 3; Ethirneechal and Vanakkam Chennai and of course Velai Illa Pattadhari (VIP) that had some really good background scores to set the mood for the scene back then! I also think Devarakonda is trying to become a bankable star rather than an actor; hence his choices are gravitating towards commercial films rather than ones with great acting scope. Man Dear Comrade's failure must have scarred him so bad. And Jammy also forgot to mention the first debacle that started it all before Liger: WORLD FAMOUS LOVER!

Unpopular opinion: Rashmika was a strong female character in Animal. She calls her husband out on his behavior, stands up to him, adds a bowl of salt in his food, screams at him, slaps him around constantly and leaves him at the end. If this is not a strong female character, i dont know what is

1) At least give a chance to Ramayana with its first look/ teaser and then comment rather than spreading hate and being judgmental over just some blurred photos
2) Imran and Fardeen were just mediocre doing the same thing in every film.
Finally someone said the sushin shyam thing. Thank you!!! I re-watched aavesham only for the score.
The one movie where I actually rooted for Rashmika was Animal. Her character and that bedroom argument scene was so impactful, it literally felt connected with real couples who have their own share of bedroom arguments.
I have to literally console my partner who was sobbing for her and hating Ranbir's character to core.
That scene was good until ranbirs ruined it by saying dont marry if i die
I agree about Sushin. His scores are simply hearts.❤❤❤

Thank you for giving Rashmika credit for her performance in 'Animal'. Still don't know why many people don't see how brilliant she was in the movie.

I thought rashmika was brilliant in a film like animal eventhough personally I didn't like the film. She was meant to play a southindian hence the dialogue delivery slightly different to what hindi speaking audience are used to. She did full justice to geetanjali.

Bollywood movies look like b grade movies

Definitely both Sushin Shyam and Santhosh Narayanan are better than Anirudh overall for me
1:41 I’m tired fair skinned Rama, maaaan at least this time take a dark skinned actor, atleast where they are supposed to be dark skinned 🫠
Also I’m so tired of the glorification of toxicity (animal, Kabir Singh etc) it’s fine to portray bad characters, it’s fine to even have them have the last laugh. But to glorify it is very bad for society and the new generation
@@roronoauchiha69 spectacle movie and masala movie both are different
@@roronoauchiha69 bollywood is not able to make the masala films they made before. Just because there's a rise in educated people doesn't mean masala films should not be made, and doesn't mean only content based films should be made. Both should be made. I myself like to watch content-based films and masala films equally. If they don't deliver nicely, I just don't like them.
@@Finnola Indian audience CAN enjoy experimental films but the majority will still continue to watch movies for THE STAR not for the plot. its the opposite to how americans watched oppenheimer to see the story of robert oppenheimer himself, not to watch Cillian Murphy.
This is what I've been trying to hear for sometime👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 these unpopular opinions must become popular and mainstream🔥
That was some really good Unpopular Opinions.... Btw, that's the scene from Ratsasan .... And not Anjaam paathira 😊
Jammy is back!
Also, I completely agree with you on the nostalgia bait. I found Imran Khan so cute but I never thought of him as a good actor. A Bollywood comeback would be a debacle.
You have one of the best channels that I have been watching for the past 4 years.
Rashmika was amazing in Animal. Totally. I was surprised by her range.
Jammy, i really admire how you put forth your opinions so strongly, Its rare to see people speak their mind with such conviction. good work mahn!!!
5:44 Lord Jammy said “Take five” but heard “Take lives”. The personal attack was delightful so thanks!
Imran khan and Fardeen khan bit was harsh, Jammy! *cries in the corner*🥲
Anything related to ranbir kapoor is masterpiece for jammy
Raj kapoor is great filmmaker but vo bhut tharki tha
He was the filmmaker for masses , the reason why he and br chopra became so big in 50s was bcs their protagonist was a poor man
Bro you spoke factz when talking about Nostalgia Merchants
And Sai pallavi, i love her ... but no she does not looks like Mata
sita. no not at all.
I agree 👍
Bro it's a big budget movie they need Star actors like Ranbir
THEY CANNOT JUSTIFY THE SCALE AND BUDGET THO! Its such an important part of the creative process tho
@@TriedRefusedProductions please don't mind bro. But why don't you react on my comment. Atleast you can ban me
@@ABCD-lz3ue well, we need to wait until the end.
I too liked Rashmika's performance in Animal.
We were literally discussing the whole sushin vs Anirudh music at home yesterday. Truly love Sushin ❤️
Crazy intro bro ! TEVAR !!😂. Well coming to Rashmika part, even i accept that she was amazing in Animal. Yah she was foolish in the first part but after that she shines in many scenes. I can really empathise with her character of how she felt when she could see her husband destroying himself.
Good one. But Jammy saying "Mammookka" was something that put a smile on my face. Hehe.
I feel like the thing with anirudh is the fact he is always bagged in for the big budget projects and most of the films that he is been doing are of the same genre whereas sushin gets to explore different themes because he belongs to the Malayalam film industry where various genres are being explores
Jammy and his intros, have a separate fan base and I am totally in that 😂💯
Agree that rashmika did well, she got trolled for no reason
Kannur squad's success had a huge part from sushin as well.
Even tamil people know anirudh is overrated.
0:13 tevar is absolutely goated for me because of Arjun Kapoor's dialogue " jo chane khaate hain na, wo badaam ke paad nai maarte "
@Sandeep_aiimshyderabad it's a legit dialogue in the movie bruv 😂😂

Nostalgia, Rashmika in animal and lack of actors is on point!!
Rashmika was amazing
popular option
But no one can take place of Ramanand sagar's Ramayana
Plus i don't have doubt on ranveer acting but he is not looking good as lord Ram (my opinion)
While Sai is looking perfect as Sita
Lol, have you seen Lord Ram? In a realistic case, ranbir a bollywood guy would have looked greater than a battle-ridden warrrior.
So Sai is looking like maa Sita according to you 😅
Obviously but can't move on huh Ranbir hai
@@AshishKumar-ui9wy Sai pallavi is perfect as Sita.
She is more beautiful than some overrated b town heroines.
@@tallurirahul5077 how many times you have seen maa Sita and if not seen how you guys decide someone is perfect as this and someone is not, without seeing the movie?🤔🤔
7:50 that's Ratsasan
Not anjaam paathira 😅
The start of the video 😂
Also Ranbir and Sai Pallavi are amazing actors. Considering the amount of effort being put into this iteration of Ramayan, you can tell that they are taking this project very seriously. I didn't like Animal, but it should have made it clear to everyone that Ranbir Kapoor gives his all to his characters and never half asses it.
Unpopular opinion: Rashmika was a strong female character in Animal. She calls her husband out on his behavior, stands up to him, adds a bowl of salt in his food, screams at him, slaps him around constantly and leaves him at the end. If this is not a strong female character, i dont know what is
Slapping someone is strong character trait?
@@pallavisahu4280 no buts its a strong character. Khilji in padmaavat was a rapist and murderer but he was a strong character, he carried the film. Same with gabbar in sholay
Movie was shit whole there could have lot been done with the concept but Mr.medicore didn't wanted to invest time in building the story but rage baiting women someone please give him reality check about his stories and how mid they are and geez those cringey dialogues so misplaced
