Even now I give her the benefit of the doubt due to time and experience making her humble. But no, she still has an attitude and somehow after all these years looking at acting as a competition or popularity contest. She recently mentioned rani and Tabu are doing better than younger actresses. Tabu is great and all that but Tabu will never speak like that, in fact she is the best example of an actor simply focusing on her craft not on what happens in the industry. Kareena doesn't know how to shut up and just act, if she did that she'll be the best actress in the world.
Kareena was known to be arrogant and a gossip queen. She has only improved in her older age and she said she was lucky to be sharing screen space with acting talent like Jaideep Alhawat. I think OTT platforms have given a huge dose of humble pie to all these actors and actresses who thought they were untouchable or irreplaceable.
She is a frog from a well. Just got away because she lived in the well. If she were to be out into a different well,she would be gobbled instantly!
Kareena is known to be really snobbish. You also see a little bit of that in many of her interviews. A lot of actors have pointed it out that working with Kareena is not enjoyable, especially if you are not a nepo kid. Also Sonam Kapoor has that entitlement thing. They both think they are better than other people.

I am from South but gotta agree. Especially the scenes that sexualizes the heroine's belly or hips, even in songs are something that has irked me always be it in south or Bollywood.

The thing with Shahid and Padmavat is he never was the main character. However he still delivered his role 100%. Also, people did appreciate his portrayal of King Ratan Singh. Instead of being negative about the screen time and praises for Ranveer, he should have embraced the positive comments. Then he would have been remembered for his role just like Priyanka Chopra was for her role as Kashi bhai in Bajirao Mastani.
Shahid, who I really like, was like a piece of wood in Padmavat. Even wood can act better
I'm sorry, that's misrepresenting the situation- First of all, there was almost only bad comments and articles about Shahid at the time of filming and promotion. in fact, even the CEO of the production company was tweeting and retweeting disparaging things about Shahid, so there was not much to embrace! the fact is that Shahid refused at first that role since he knew it was a very small role that is not supported by the script. If I'm not mistaken, it was Deepika who insisted on Shahid since she wanted a good actor to act with. SLB promised Shahid that he will make the role bigger, but he actually didn't do that. It was clear that this movie was supposed to be all about Ranveer. SLB himself admitted that Shahid's character wasn't supposed to have a shirtless scene. Meaning from day one the plan was to highlight Ranveer's character and reduce Shahid's. From what I understood Ranveer didn't want Shahid in the role and he behaved abominably on set- throwing tantrums, playing loud music... Then the trailer came out and Shahid wasn't even in it! The trailer made it seem as if Ranveer's character and Padmavat had a love connection, which caused actual riots! Again, it was clear this was all about Ranveer. This wasn't about Shahid's ego. It was about Ranveer's. Shahid didn't even have a dance sequence, and the song in which Padmavat falls for the King was cut from the movie. An actor of Shahid's calibre shouldn't have been treated like that.
If Shahid was promised more than what he got it was really bad to him.

Vikas Behl, Sajid Khan were given no pass and they shouldn't if they were indeed involved, but everyone else was given a chance? Shahid Kapoor seems like a major diva. A deeply insecure actor who I've heard multiple times in different interviews, has an attitude problem. I'm pretty sure Kangana had said something similar of him on KWK.
Shahid only had problem on padmawat set while it is kangana who has problem with everyone. Shahid rightly said hope she gets along with anybody, called her out for vivid imagination just like Hrithik did. Also when the fight was getting nasty he told he would not say anything more because there's a girl involved.
Both kangana and Shahid are somehow mentally ill in a way. The only difference is that while one consecutively Ill one is ill for eternity.
People think Shahid has an attitude because he speaks the truth. Shahid was never given the benefits of being the son of a major star. He was brilliant in a 💩 film like Kabir Singh and had to really defend his movie over n over again to the media and was even denied a Best Actor Award because the film industry pussed out. On the other hand, Ranbir got a free pass and is awarded for just existing. So, you can understand his bitterness. It's similar to how you can understand Amir's bitterness towards award shows and how the industry works in general. Everything Shahid has said in interviews except the one where he said he'd be willing to romance a buffalo (which seemed like he was fatshaming Kareena) makes sense in hindsight.

I don't think malayalm actors are friends or enemies, there's no competition to that extent. In interviews they're straightforward and it's just if somebody crosses the limits or the case of actors not being professional then it's a problem. For instance shine tom chacko, hopefully he gets therapy. But one thing in Kerala film industry I notice is every crew member, actor, writer and director have their own organizations which is sort of like a union so that every problem is addressed so that nobody gets away from unprofessionalism. It's still there today but a producer or director can write to actors association and raise the issue. If its solved then movie resumes or actor gets thrown out.

I will add one more- Ajay Devgn and Anubhav Sinha during the making of Cash. Ajay said that the director does not know how to make movies and was glad that movie flopped and also added that in the future if they collaborate again they will need to sort certain things out. Guess what they've never collaborated since then!
And, Mr. Anubhav Sinha, on the contrary has now majestically refined his art and craft! Look at the movies he has been coming with since the past few years. He is on a roll!

Kareena was full of attitude in her initial days. She also hated priyanka. But it's good to see that she has evolved as a person now and praises her co actors in interviews, discusses their acting methods.
She has no choice. She tried to crush their vigor with her "attitude". They did well for themselves. Now she is praising them. It's the same quality she beholds, no change. Where there is success twinkling, her attitude will crumble. That's because of lack f confidence generally. She is not to be blamed. She feels insecure because she knows how the industry can sideline people way too fast.

It seems like actors start off as some kind of assistant in film sets before getting a good role. But if that's the job and if one is ill informed then no actor can complain a director is treating them in a certain manner. An nepo kid being an assistant is a made-up job that just exists due to the privilege. Ranbir should've educated himself instead of complaining. After all, no outsider will get the opportunities of assistant and then main lead in a bhansali film.

Padmavaat still surprises me because i remember wacthing it in theatres and i never felt shahid had any lesser role than ranveer as i felt all gave their 100 percent and i saw ranveer having more screentime as a way of bhansali to bring about his poetic narration from antagonists perspective rather than the usual protaganist. Also andaaz apna apna was no surprise as i always felt aamir was dominating in that movie for some reason and i can see that he completely dedicates himself to the role. (no disrespect to salman, i liked some of his scenes too but for me it was clearly a aamir khan dominating film.)
Hey jammy, I followed telugu industry very long time, so the krish story has another side.... After the tremendous success of mahanati in the industry and beyond , balakrishnan grab the opportunity to make a biopic movie on his father legendary NTR at great scale and krish want to part of it because everyone thought it would create history so he left manikkarnika in midway. But plan got backfired. Although I am in favour for giving him his deserve credit but if the movie shalved due to his action would he took the responsibility. I guess no.

mahanati is masterpiece and NTR Biopic has many problems firstly director teja started this project and he left in the middle then balayya approched Krrish and asked him to make like mahanati and movie failed

It is surprising to know that Sanjay Dutt, despite his bad boy image, isn't in any of these clips. Its hard to think that working with him was always a pleasant experience.
Also, I personally have never truly liked Kareena as a person. The fact that she didn't get along with so many female co-stars doesn't surprise me. Great actress, although I do think Priyanka Chopra had more range than her. Kareena reminds me a lot of Sonam Kapoor(not in terms of acting) but rather in terms of ridiculous behaviour.
Also, unpopular opinion but I personally think Ranveer Singh is actually quite a jealous man especially towards Shahid Kapoor or an actor who is probably his "competitor".

Padmavat case always remins me of Darr in 90s how similarly Sunny Deol also felt sidelined in the film in front of Srk's antagonist, probably happens because no one can foresee an anti hero taking more popularity than the hero himself in the film

Man, those days kareena used to had beef with every single actress or co female star she used to work in bollywood. Its like she took that jab we met dialouge "Mai apne favorite hu" in account before it was even written.
Kareena is a difficult perosnality but one thing that is good about her that even bipasha stated that she is not a hypocrite.. She shows you what she feels on your face. She is arrogant and she shows that.

Hi Jammy, I am an ardent fan of your reviews and especially, of how well rounded your opinions are. I watched this video and was going through the comments and it made me wonder about the impact of these videos. You must do a lot of research on these incidents before stitching them together but do you think that these incidents (some of them are way in the past) might affect the current opinions about the people featured in the video. Everyone goes through evolution hopefully for their betterment but it appears that these videos keep reminding the audience of certain past incidents that people involved have assumably evolved from but it almost regresses our opinion of them. I am also not sure if the purpose of these videos is to call out people for their past wrongdoings.
Do you think it would be better to focus on more recent events like the one you did for SRK’s incident at Ambani wedding?
