yup, one of the toughest things to work on "figuring out your hunger fullness cues" - Eating from being stressed, bored or habit - it's a tough one. Problem solver!!

I have been doing some detox and fasting lately and this really helped me to start realize if I’m actually hungry or just craving. It’s been mind blowing how much I simply crave rather than I’m actually hungry.
Problem solver! Thank you for starting your video with such a valid and self affirming statement. "You are not fat. You are you." Calorie deficit is my greatest challenge. I find that, unless I work out daily, I sadly need to take in less calories than I prefer in order to lose weight or even keep the weight off. Recognizing hunger cues vs. following your hunger cues are two different things. I may recognize that I am not hungry, but I may still want something sweet after my meal and end up eating more calories than I should in order to maintain my weight. Still learning!

Thanks Emmie , I am the emotional eater, stress eater, and I’m trying to lose 15 lbs. I’m always thinking about what is in the frig to eat. I prep foods so I’m eating the right things but, I love the taste and eat more even when I’m full.I love good food .

I just started the starch solution way of eating monday - ( it’s Saturday )
I lost 2 1/2 pounds right away - but the scale was up 1 pound today - I just watched a video where you said don’t weight in the first week --oops -
I do think I might be over eating - I have not allowed myself some of these carbs for a very long time - without tremendous guilt -
Watch all Emmies videos and you will get it! I learn something new everyday!! Can't believe I'm down 18 lbs by eating potatoes and oatmeal daily!!
Dr mcdougall has a lecture called hunger. And another one called what am I so fat. Those 2 will help a lot.
I think the hardest part about learning to be healthy and have a good relationship with food is to allow yourself the freedom to properly nourish your body, and letting go of the stigma diet culture burdens us with, like a weight on our shoulders. You are beautiful, where you are and wherever you will be- And, more importantly, you are Enough. It's time to be You, not what They think you should be, and that begins with allowing yourself to eat good food so you can live your life the way you want. Whatever path you choose to get you to that place of clarity, you've got this! ♥

Hi - I read that when starchy foods are pressure cooked, they form acrylamide, a harmful chemical that, when consumed on a regular basis may lead to health issues like cancer, infertility, and neurological disorders.
I was going to purchase a high pressure cooker, but now I’m not sure… Have you heard about this?

And not depend on 1 persons believes, I believe 😊 and that is not because I don't trust her. It's about taking your own responsibility. So I will also dive in this. Thanks for reminding me to do so 😀

Honestly, I don’t mind cooking on the stovetop or regular oven; it seems more natural to me-but I could be missing out on the easier faster method haha thank you Paula ☺️ have a great day!
