Looking good, and who would not want to have it all painted and look like new to sell it.
Since I haven't thought of anything meaningful to add, I'm giving the algorithm a comment. Because the algorithm "loves that" and I would enjoy more of the same content.
Sound 100% better than some of the other videos. Great job, keep them coming!
Thanks Eddie!
Great job fixing the mower deck Mike
Thanks Kevin!
Audio was much better in 2nd half. Great vid…thanks Cap!
Great welding job Mike
Great job Mike
Beautiful pond Mike
Awsome spruce up job Mike !!
Good finding the garden hose, the things some people chuck away..... 🤷♂️
I see the Subashed is perfectly parked where you need it, and being helpful while sat..... !!
That was quite a heavy shower you had, time lapse showed the showers passing through well.
And now your youngest is starting to drive the tractor, you do know you will be relegated to walking everywhere soon 😂
DJI mic worked well, sound quality was better to my ears, I think your other viewer may say the same!! 👍
The second 🎤 sounded 👌
Audio is more clear and louder. Great job!!
Great video Mike
Great helper, you have there. Pond is looking great. The fish, in the pond, I thought I saw them. Turns out, it was another crack, in my screen saver.
Oh yeah, the new mic system sound pretty darn good!!
The audio is muts better then before👍😎
A painted deck helps to keep grass from sticking olus protects the deck from rusting which is the ultimate killer of any mower deck, IMHO. Really wish I could have bought this deck for my JD 455. I've worn out my 54" deck and rust has weakened it to much to keep patching it. Mower decks work best with no holes of any kind as they create vacuum. Nice deck Mike... Hope you got enough for it..
2:24 Ah Man! She's going to be a riot when she plays sports. Already doing the celebration moves! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Loved the video, always waiting for the next one, Audio was great, your daughter is so cute. You are truly blessed Mike .
I love your tractor 🚜 I have the 4400 utility with the loader great tractor 🚜
Much like the truck I envisioned you fixing up the mower deck and the finding out you liked the cut so much you had to keep it. 😂
Thanks for sharing Captain.
Appreciate ya watching bert
Love the hign speed cleaning .... what a hoot.
Mike, the second mike was better than the first mike Mike....huh?!?!?! Can't help but smile every time your youngest helps you. And what a driver. Might wanna not let the other Mike see her driving cause he might just have her drive for him instead 😆 God bless you and yours. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
Lol, thanks for watching John
Your little one is adorable! What a hood helper!
She's the best!
You have a great little daddy's helper, cherish every minute they're gone before you know it.
The pond looks great Mike!
Thanks!
Cap’n, both mic’s worked well. I think the first mic might have cancelled noise interference a bit better… but then again… these ears are almost 70 years old!!!
This video had a lot of cool stuff in it… welding, rain storm, 755, service Subaru, pond, painting, electrical repair fail… and driving lessons for daddy’s little helper. What a delight!!!
Cap’n I hope you get the PTO going… otherwise, it’s gonna be a vacation for the Whoppa Choppa. I can’t imagine a summer without it!!
Thanks Cap’n… I’ll run through and like all the other comments… just to please the algorithm… and of course for my entertainment!!!
Whoppa Choppa needed a break, but it's time for it to get back to work! Hope all is well
Keep up the good work love your videos
For some reason I just couldn’t hold back a huge smile when you took the battery strap off the Subaru. The wire strippers worked perfectly!😂😂😂😂😂
I think I should start a series of using the wrong tool for the job 🤣
Great to see the benefits of the shop and organization. Congratulations!
Definitely helps!
I always enjoy your videos and am spending many days during this heat wave watching many many of your older videos. Thanks for the entertainment.
Thanks for watching!
Yes audio quality was better! Nice video thanks for sharing!

You are better than the weather channel. Good Job Capt!
Thanks Rick
DJI mic was better than earlier in the video. thanks for the great videos and i enjoy following along in your projects.
Thanks Jeremy
I Really enjoy your videos
Thanks David
There must be a beetle or something stripping all the leaves off my money tree too Mike. If you find a cure let me know. Mower deck looks great.
Pond is looking really nice Mike. Love the dock
Hey thanks! We have been enjoying it
DJI mic sounded pretty good
Thanks Jeff
Much better on the second half.
I can finally hear you without turning the sound full blast & the mic's sounding great !
Hey that's great!
I've been looking for that deck for years and I must say yours looks to be in pretty good shape. It's likely sold by now and I live way up northern MN.
I love seein your family in your videos
💪
Watching you do the bush hog restoration is inspiring me to get busy on my JD 613 Rotary Cutter rebuilt. Over the years I have used it and abused it. Time to give it some love.
There ya go
Great 👍 job love your video 📹 👏
Thanks John
I like all the things you do and fix.
Great job. And you had a cute little helper!! God bless you and be safe.
Thanks Teresa
I've never had any issues with your audio. I'm not a picky person though. Your videos are always great.
Thanks jeff
Good audio quality.
Apply 12V directly to the solenoid and see if the magnet does what its supposed to do. Typically, these draw several amps to hold in. if it draws a ton of amps, the coils inside the solenoid can be shorted and then solenoid needs to be replaced. If that checks out, then check continuity from solenoid to seat switch using an ohmmeter or test light. Blah blah blah. electrical troubleshooting 101. You have a wiring diagram which is fantastic. Trace the power from fuse back to load through switches and wires. Could be on the ground side. Dirty ground connection between solenoid and ground. Always start with the simple. Is everything plugged in? anything damaged? I am sure you already know all of this and are just waiting for the next video to show it off.
I designed wiring systems for 15 years and did a lot of electrical troubleshooting on production earthmoving equipment. It all starts with the wiring diagram so you can understand what components are involved and what they are supposed to do. Everything flows from battery positive to battery negative. All of the components can be thought of in a simplified form as a source, Switch, or load. The battery is your source if the engine is not running. If the alternator is turning, the battery becomes a load. Switches have states depending on some mechanical input. seat switch, headlight switch, etc. loads - solenoids, relay coils, motors, lights, starter cable, ground cable. Loads drop voltage across them when current flows through them. How much is dependent on the resistance. Coils are loads, but they store energy when current is flowing. When you switch that current off, the energy has to go somewhere, but likes to keep going, so the coil can throw off a negative voltage spike. That negative spike can over time fry switch contacts. Sometimes they put diodes across the coil to burn off the energy when the power is turned off. if the diode is failed, you can get the solenoid shorted out and the diode needs replaced. All comes from the wiring diagram.
With a wiring diagram and a multimeter, you can diagnose any electrical system on anything (house, car, tractor) as long as you understand what the "good" state is supposed to look like.
Hey I definitely appreciate the info and tips! Thank you!
Good explanation of troubleshooting methods!
Great video. Best part is that with your daughter. I raised three girls and as an old man treasure the thoughts of them as children. Precious. 2nd microphone is better.
Thanks Dennis,. She loved it!
MBTS would be so proud of that bright yellow paint!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂🤪🤪🤪🤪
Love the channel - audio is very good. Regards Dennis
Thanks Dennis!
You can send some of that rain 🌧 our way, it's very dry here, my yard has dried up
Yes the new mic works far better than where the camera did not pick you up talking at all. Oh wait you were not talking? 🤣🤣🤣
Keep up the great work
The 🎙 sounds good. It’s a good time to move things on. Used equipment is bringing a great price.
Absolutely
Nice job Mike! You're your kids say having her drive! That was so adorable sir
She loved it!
The pond looks amazing. I like the new audio. Much clearer.
Thanks!
New microphone works better.
Thanks for updating the sound.
Hey thanks! Trying to keep improving the channel
Love the video great audio
Thanks mike!
Mike, you editing gets better and better. Love the cut ins to other locations without missing a beat in the monologue.
I was surprised you destroyed the label on the deck that explains the height settings. I know picky, picky, picky.
It looked like one of the spring loaded gauge wheels was reversed. I would think those gauge wheels being on the front of the deck should be in a drag orientation versus a pushing orientation. Maybe it is the UA-cam reverse video thing.
I didn't notice a great diff in the audio. Your's has always been better than you seemed to think. Go For It.
Captain great video, your youngest daughter is really Daddy’s little girl, growing up fast and helping Dad ! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Great job
Thanks Rhonda
At least you gave it a shot paint job looks good and sounds a little better. C U on the next video Mike
Thanks donald!
Keep up the good work, like the last mike.
Thanks Roger
Audio definitely improved. You got a good chauffeur, too!

Thanks for being a great Dad.We need more Dads like you!!!!!
Lol thanks
Duo best
The audio was definitely better on the second part. The look on your daughter's face while she was driving is priceless! Your lucky to catch that on video! Keep up the great work 👍
Definitely an awesome memory!
Great job!! Pond looks awesome!!!
Thanks Eric
plz hug your dog for me he looks so give me more love :D
Mic in second half was awesome! Clearest audio yet! Nice job on the mower deck. Great work seems to be your thing......
Thanks Barry
Enjoyed the video Mike . The pond looks fantastic
Thanks Jimmy
Listening with some good quality headphones - audio definitely better in the second half. The pond looks amazing, what a beautiful color to the water now that the silt has all settled.
Appreciate the feedback!
nice tidy on the mower deck. boy that water is nice and blue and looking good. cheers captain.
Thanks Nelson!
Good morning Captain. The sound quality is good at my end. Enjoyed your video. Stay the course, your channel is very entertaining!
Thank you!
DJI mic is good. Also, extra Dad points for mentoring your daughter.
💪
Tip for future. Aluminum foil works great for wrapping things like hoses and driveshafts, or any larger round objects. So much quicker and easier to put on and take off.
That makes sense! I'll try it next time
I was so going to comment this and ya beat me too it ...
Although I will add the additional note of using CHEEP aluminum foil ... For obvious reasons
You and me are very different. You wiped off the whole deck and did a bunch of tear down, then painted over all the decals. I would have hosed it taped off the decals and probably painted it while still wet. 😂. Also it was fun watching you route the belt right after painting over the belt routing decal. Love it all Mike. Great show as usual!
The audio came out just fine and you're paint job and everything else you did especially the welding quite impressed Love your videos a little bit of laughing and giggling but I appreciate that every morning when you post
Always appreciate ya watching!
Nice clean up of the mower deck. The sound did improve from the beginning toward the end. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Always great content Capt , keep on trucking .
Thanks John
The weld is never going to hold, it's going to fall right off. Lol! It's either going to hold or it's job security, win win!
It will hold
Not sure if it’s just the camera but the pond water looks really blue and clear. Good job on the rework. Audio sounds good.
Yup, we dyed it!
Second Half of the video sounded better!
It doesn’t surprise me that you have over 29,000 views considering that John Deere doesn’t make it easy to understand their instruction manual. Your video was a HUGE help! I recently acquired a 955 with the exact mower deck and couldn’t make heads or tails on some of the connections or the intricacies of aligning the deck, etc. I’ll definitely search through more of your video to enjoy. BTW, I did notice that you were using Acetone on a rag with no gloves on? That stuff is extremely caustic over time, so wear gloves!!! When you get to be my age, you’ll wish you did.
Glad you got some good info out of it. Thanks for watching
Mic sounds good pond looks great
Thanks Richard
DJI mic works very good. Great video, thanks for the ride.
Thank you sir
