    I have heard so may people say this gun isn't good for larger repairs but it is. Thanks for showing this in your video! This is actually an all around good gun. Small areas larger areas, like full quarter or door panels , Bumpers. Base and clear as well!!

      I’m glad you liked it, yes It can be used for larger areas but ideally you need a 1.2mm setup or I think it will struggle slightly

      Which they do make and also in a "wider fan" model, both in a 1 and 1.2

      I know a lot of guys like to use it as an all round gun but I personally preferred to put my clear down with a slightly larger gun.
      Nice share though and I’m glad that you like it

      So if you purchase the model qoth a 1.2 tip you can add a differnt tip on it as well. Do you have the part number foe thebsmall 1.0 tip?

    • @damageundoneltd
      @damageundoneltd  2 роки тому

      You can change the tips and cap but sometimes for a little more you can just buy another gun

    Saw this one on Instagram, how do you like the Colad snap lids? I tried them but couldn't get on with them which is a shame as I use the pots for mixing, I used the mid size think it's 300ml but had a couple of pots split when fitting the lid and a leak when fitting the pot to the gun, I still have a box of the lids but went back to my 3M PPS cups which I like apart from the price!

    • @damageundoneltd
      @damageundoneltd  4 роки тому

      Ok so I have heard a few people mention this and it has happened to me once but that is because I did not put the lid on correctly. It needs to be applied at an angle first, not straight down
      I like the Colad cups because they are the only ones on the market that come with a 90 micron filter and this is perfect for solid colours and clear

    • @JohnWD40TC02
      @JohnWD40TC02 4 роки тому +1

      Ah I see so that was why they were splitting, I'll have to try them again, yeah agree with the filters and are what I used plus if like me and you are a tight old git you can reuse them a few times as you can remove the filter and the rubber check valve to clean them. 🙄

    • @damageundoneltd
      @damageundoneltd  4 роки тому

      You can and you can buy just the filters but cleaning it all sounds like extra work and time is money

      Hi, I am sorry but I have not used the vault so I am not able to give you the best advice here.
      The lph80 is very good and you can do very fine work and also larger jobs

    Would this be good for a full car? 2k acrylic

    • @damageundoneltd
      @damageundoneltd  9 місяців тому

      There are some that would say yes but in my opinion no.
      I would always go for a larger gun like the Walcom 360, the Sagola 4600 or the Meiji finer core, even the Sata 1500 would be a good option
      Iwata do the 400 series but previous models I’ve tested have produced great finishes but were too slow for me and required a little more setting up.

    So what's your favorite clear coat gun?

    • @damageundoneltd
      @damageundoneltd  8 місяців тому +1

      For a long time my favourite has been the Sagola 4600 xtreme on a 1.2xl set up and DVR Titania PRO air cap

      I don’t use small guns for clear, only base.
      I use either my Sagola 4600xtreme or my walcom 360 both have clear caps and both are on a 1.2mm setup
      These are used no matter what size the job is
