Damn bro your vids are straight to the point and very informative. I do body work and want to get into painting my own stuff. Damn this is making me want to prime my car right now lol thanks
I appreciate that and I do a lot of videos showing what pressure I use for the material I spray and the reason I didn’t go over pressure is because all materials aren’t the same and all brands aren’t the same so your pressure is going to change depending on what you’re spraying no matter if you’re using a lvlp or a hvlp

Hey King!! I’ve got a question, it doesn’t pertain to this lesson, but nevertheless I may not be the only one needing this knowledge. If your base coat is wrong and you caught it and didn’t proceed to clear, Should you sand the base off and start over or just sand it lightly and spray the correct color on. Note: this is for a primed new purchased panel and a sanded bumper that was already painted but just needed the new base color. In other words one pc is new maroon pad sanded then sealed and base colored, the other pc was just a different color so sanded and sealed and base sprayed. I know this is a lot so take your time when you have time. No hurry here!! Thank you as always, you know I think your the Best!!❤️💙😊
@@sharonkirven9570 you normally have a 12 hour window before you have to apply your clear and after that you need to scuff the base to clear or respray the base then clear so I have to ask you is the color you have sprayed just not matching or is it a completely wrong color because if it doesn’t match but it’s close and within that window I would apply the correct color then proceed to clear
@@UndergroundPaintKing Ok that’s what I thought but thought I’d chk with the Pro.. The color is a bit to dark. It’s in the same family just a hint to dark. So I thought after clear coating it, it may go darker. I’d hate to waist good clear coat and have to purchase both again. It looks like I can sand the base off and prep to respray a closer base coat. Going to let a auto store here put the computer on another part of the car to get the base closer. I went with the code but it’s too dark..Thx U Thx U Thanks!💙😊
Thanks for the channel king... I just purchased a Tekna Basecoat Gun, but it seems to either spray dry or lay down way too much peel for me to want to fool with it. It saves material well, but I need help dialing in the settings. Thanks again. PS, that vevor gun is bossed up, and so is the air gunsa. Smh
You may want to try turning your pressure down a bit and getting a little closer to your panel when spraying, also the material you’re spraying could be causing it to peel if it’s drying a little to fast
@@claudiocamilleri5390 I appreciate you checking out the video and here is another video that might help out with your question ua-cam.com/video/G0CYIwbSmGo/v-deo.htmlsi=qKlk7Ou0sCaQLY9G

Hello! Thanks! Too many good videos. I have painted a Bumper. And when I set up my AeroPro A608, no Air came out. I have set my Air Compressor so that it holds at least 4 Bar up to the Gun. And then I have an Air manometer that gives the gun 2 Bar of air. And the gun's own air screw is fully open. That's how I had it set up yesterday. And then it went well. But now only clear coat came out, when I tried the Spray Pattern on a cardboard box. I wonder if you can figure out what is wrong. I have cleaned the gun after I finished the painting yesterday. And I have assembled the Gun, after cleaning it in the Right way. Thanks! From an Amateur called Tommy from Sweden

Damn bro your vids are straight to the point and very informative. I do body work and want to get into painting my own stuff. Damn this is making me want to prime my car right now lol thanks
Lol glad the channel is helpful to you and go ahead and pick up that spray gun and slang some paint, I know you can do it 💯💪🏾
Great tutorial, but the one thing I was interested in was the pressure you set the regulator at for for the LPLV gun as opposed to HPLV??
I appreciate that and I do a lot of videos showing what pressure I use for the material I spray and the reason I didn’t go over pressure is because all materials aren’t the same and all brands aren’t the same so your pressure is going to change depending on what you’re spraying no matter if you’re using a lvlp or a hvlp
This was a great video about how to set up a LVHP gun. Do you recommend a LVHP, HVLP OR RP gun for the amateur DIY guy that wants to base/clear his car? I have 80 gallon 2 stage compressor so air is not an issue. The last paint gun I used was 30 years ago, a siphon paint gun so this is all new to me.
@@legalsan3913 I’m glad the video was helpful and depending on your setup as far as your exhaust of the paint fumes, I think you would be fine with any style spray gun you go with but the lvlp will have a lower amount of overspray than the other spray guns
A very helpful video thanks King, appreciate your advice
@@workmate222 you’re welcome and I’m glad the video was helpful 💯

You’re welcome Ganesh, I’m glad the video was helpful and I hope you enjoy your spray gun!
Good looking 👑. I'm about to spray my tsx again. The first time we sprayed a gallon of primer and a gallon AE paint but got alot of orange peel so hopefully on this next gallon second time is a charm
Good luck on this next spray Fam!
Great video brother and thanks for sharing your knowledge! 👍

EXCELLENT!! It truly can’t be explained any better❤️❤️❤️❤️😊
Thank you Sharon I appreciate you checking out the video and I hope the information helps 🙏🏽

Just came across your video. Great one... I'm new to painting. What psi did you set your gun to?
Glad that you came across the video and checked it out, and with the material I use I like to spray between 26-30 psi
@@UndergroundPaintKing oh, what size nozzle would you recommend for base and clear coat?
Amazing how you explain bro , thanks for your time
You’re welcome Sergio I hope the info helps!
Great video bother! Keep up the good work!
Thanks I appreciate you checking it out!
Im new to this channel and a beginner about spray guns can you explain a bit about CFM how to know how much air compressor has and how it works pls

Hey King, great video! What was the pressure regulator at the bottom of the gun set at?
Thanks I appreciate you watching the video and I honestly don’t know what the pressure was set at, different materials require different air pressure so whatever material you choose to spray may need some adjusting to get it where you want it
Brother thank you very much for your videos! I'm working on getting a van set up to do mobile paint corrections and bedliners. I was contemplating a turbine sprayer but after watching your lvlp videos I'm confident in my 33gal Caftsman's output. I know it will run a texture gun for liners already.
The small compressor setup will work well for your business Dustin and I hope nothing but much success for you!
@@UndergroundPaintKing got my stickers today. Got one on my van.

Another excellent and straight to the point video! I'm actually impressed with the fan on that gun. Wide open is ok, but appears that it can easily get a finer edge like you adjusted it and still have a decent size fan. Reminds me of my Astro Evo4014 gun.... they share parts. Lol. Keep up the knowledge sharing!
Thanks Boss we was just having that conversation about the fan on one of the other videos lol…I appreciate you checking out the videos Boss Hawg!
@@UndergroundPaintKing yes. I didn't realize how similar the Sprayit, Astro Evo4014, and Warwick 904H guns were. Come to find out, they're all clones of an Iwata W400 and can share aircaps and needles according to a source. Basically the guns can be upgraded if parts are sourced.
I was waiting on this video. I appreciate All the good info. Straight direct to the point. I got my UPK sticker in the mail. Thanks 🙏🏿

Thank you for your informative video.. I am a newbie just order my lvlp gun will definitely set up the gun as you shown me.. Can ask what air pressure do I need for paint and clear coat.. I brought a cheap 1.4 nozzle for base paint and gloss. I also order a 1.8 nozzle for primers.. what other advices can you give me or which of your video would you recommend me to watch. Thank you again.
You’re welcome and the products you’re spraying will determine how you want to set your air pressure. It’s best to do test panels to set your spray gun up and practice before doing your project, hope that helps David

Hello!

Just what I needed to know!! Preciate it

Hello! A big thanks! for all the good videos you post. I'm going to put acrylic filler on a bumper. Can I use both HVLP or LVLP Paint Gun for this job? If I set the Paint Gun as it says on the Acryl filler can. Thanks! From Tommy Bertilsson from Sweden
You’re welcome Tommy, and I appreciate you checking out the videos 🙏🏽 and yes you should be able to spray with both types of spray guns
I like about a 5 to 7 inch fan myself. Gives better control. Keep em coming bro.

@@UndergroundPaintKing Alot of spraying I do is from an airless sprayer or air assisted sprayer. Where the tip size means alot.
