    Just had to come back and say... Thank you!
    After listening to the advice from this video, I sprayed possibly the best coat of clear I've ever sprayed. I'm using a different gun, and spraying a guitar neck. But the overall method is the same for all spray guns.
    I've spent countless hours listening to people all say the same things. Reading the same stuff from article to article. With my best efforts, I could only ever achieve a somewhat smooth coat. A solid B at best. Always a bit of orange peel, or some issue somewhere.
    After applying the wall of air method... I was shocked.
    The coat I sprayed today was perfectly smooth, and looked as if it had already been level sanded and polished. And this was using water based poly. A relatively thick product. 1.0mm tip. So, the atomization is fine. But I'm stunned.
    This is by far the best advice ive found anywhere. Simply amazing.
    Thanks again!

    One of the best videos on using a spray gun of any type, although I am about to use my LPH80 for the first time. Everything is covered clearly and thoroughly, from setting air pressure, fan size and volume. Thank you very much!

    Thank you so much! This video is packed with great information for someone with little experience like me. I am an airbrush user and I was looking for a small gun that would work with my small compressor. The LPH-80 was the perfect solution. I just received it (same as yours, except with the 1.0 mm nozzle). All the info you provide here is extremely useful and I suspect that many experienced users are learning from it as well. You also have incredible talent as a communicator/teacher. I am subscribing now! Thanks again!

    Have landed here from the airbrushing world. Trying to get good info on what my best options are to scale up a little.
    "The Grand Algorithm" doesn't seem to understand that spray painting and airbrushing are related!!
    Thank you for your video. It is very comprehensive. Your knowledge is obviously from years of experience.
    Your technique of explaining the subject matter really locks into my brain.
    Thank you so much.

    Hi! It is very delightful to see your reviews, some, who do actually know, what to say! I, myself, have a 100L, 240L/min compressor. I'm going to buy Devilbiss SRI, SATA 4400, and this LPH-80. Those small guns are just enough for my needs.. Thank you very much for very good videos, and bless you.. ☺

    What interest me most about this spraygun is the very low air usage, about half of other miniguns like the sri pro or ansi r150.
    Is it good for motorcycles? (gastanks/fenders etc)

    Hi Jason I’m in the repair industry although it’s in the house building trade for the most part in new built houses. We were supplied & trained with a devilbliss Sri pro, but personally I don’t know why but I really don’t enjoy using it at all! This gun looks fantastic I think the Sri is just a bit too much for the repairs I do mostly they are 3/4mm chips at times. I’m really considering this one! I’m currently carrying a 10L 110 volt compressor with transformer & the 10m heavy rubber hose with a Sri through sites it just feels like overkill to blow in tiny chips on kitchen units & showertrays and whatnot. Could you please recommend a portable compressor that would accommodate the lph80 & make my 9-5 days a little easier 😂

    • @jasonevans6720
      @jasonevans6720  4 роки тому +1

      Hi, there is no definitive answer to this question, so many variables to account for, best idea is do a test panel just remember you can always put another coat on if it's too dry but you can't take a coat off if it's too wet😁👍

      @@seenbyme6696 it all depends on the situation. Temp, humidity, product being sprayed, target object material, even biometric pressure. Read your guns specs, and see what it says. Test different settings on scraps. Mostly, listen to what he says in this video. It’s the best advice I’ve found regarding spray gun setup.

    • @jasonevans6720
      @jasonevans6720  7 років тому +2

      this size compressor will give you problems, it is only just capable of giving stable air to the spray gun and will run almost continuous this will make the air hot and cause a lot of moisture/water. i would be looking for a 2hp 7cfm 50l tank minimum
