Many of us, yes myself included, have struggled to beat the Grafted Scion, the tutorial boss of Elden Ring. The rewards are pretty great, but the sense of accomplishment is greater!
The Golden Order has been broken.
Rise, Tarnished, and be guided by grace to brandish the power of the Elden Ring and become an Elden Lord in the Lands Between.
In the Lands Between ruled by Queen Marika the Eternal, the Elden Ring, the source of the Erdtree, has been shattered.
Marika's offspring, demigods all, claimed the shards of the Elden Ring known as the Great Runes, and the mad taint of their newfound strength triggered a war: The Shattering. A war that meant abandonment by the Greater Will.
And now the guidance of grace will be brought to the Tarnished who were spurned by the grace of gold and exiled from the Lands Between. Ye dead who yet live, your grace long lost, follow the path to the Lands Between beyond the foggy sea to stand before the Elden Ring.
And become the Elden Lord.

for PC the Mighty Shot Stance is Shift + Right Click
For some reason panic rolling doesn't work against this boss. That's too bad , rolling around in a frantic manner is my go to move.
I ended up jumping on the tree behind him and just pegged him with power shot fire arrows. Was cheesy but effective. Wanted these swords badly. So good. Thanks for the video.

Excellent guide, had to enter really specific search words but was worth it. Ironic how many bigger channels get their videos easily upfront but it's from channels like this that you get such quality.

Took me like 4 attempts with this method, thanks! The key is to really get an understanding of how much time it takes to go through the whole Mighty Shot animation. Too short or too long, you’ll get hit, and to beat this boss you have practically no room for error. Follow this video to the T and you’ll get it done. The sword is awesome especially early game, the shield is meh tbh but still this is a great achievement to have under your belt 👍

I got this guy down to close to 20% hp on my very first try. Decided to read up on strategies to beat him thinking I just needed a “little extra help”. Turns out I had the right idea. I used samurai and arrows just like in this video. After watching guides, however, now I can’t seem to get him past 80% hp. I don’t know what changed… I did so well my very first attempt!!
Nice guide Blue! I love the samurai! The Unsheathe ability of the Uchigatana is also pretty strong against the Scion. Dex bleed build in general is pretty OP

I must’ve watched 5 or 6 UA-cam tips & tricks videos that all said the tutorial boss can’t be beaten, that it’s scripted to win no matter what. I had a hunch they were wrong as I had the boss knocked below 50% health, also with the samurai longbow, on my very first try. I’m glad I found your video!
