Boy, when I was 14, I'd get home from school, turn on Mtv, and hope for this one, Whitesnake, and Hot for Teacher... Such great music for a boy that age
If that's what you're going with, why not Crazy? Alicia Silverstone AND Liv Tyler in one video, and there is a stripper pole involved! Yeah, that was always one of my favorites 😂
Us old folks were listening to Aerosmith on the radio back in the 70's going "Did he just say 'You ain't seen nothing till you're down on a muffin'? How did they ever get THAT on the radio?!?!?!?!"
I was 37 when this video came out and I had a 14 year old daughter. I use to watch MTV, but I never saw this video, cause if I had my daughter would of never seen it. I like aerosmith they had some great songs. Seeing this now at 72, whoa this was like watching, I don't want to say, lol.
70's Aerosmith is the Best and always the first to check out! Chip Away at the Stone Mama Kin Back in the Saddle Toys in the Attic Last Child Remember Kings and Queens
this hit pretty hard back in the late 80s, If i remember right - they had just re-invented themselves around '87 which included the remix with Run DMC, they had a more "in Your face" vibe and attitude than they did previously - the writing and most definitely the performing went to the next level, which had been an issue back in the late 70s - more often than not, Steven would be so Fd up he couldn't sing or perform and people were pissed at concerts...but loved the mid 70s music so much that they still supported them. The Man Can sing... and loves to perform, so getting clean and sober made all the difference for Aerosmith.
I grew up listening to Aerosmith in the 70s all the way until they retired. He could rock it even at 70. Steven Tyler and Aerosmith are in my top 3 with Def Leppard and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. I've seen them all at least 6 times.
Aerosmith as a band is one of the most iconic of all time for good reason. Speaking of... There is a video of Sir Mix A Lot performing Baby Got Back with an Orchestra and he asked ladies to come on the stage and dance. It's amazing!😅
Finally a good aerosmith video!! This is a hiliarious song!! This is when they came back... you gotta do Ragdoll too... Love it...9 lives, live for 10... have had so many dreams about Steven and Joe!!
Not naughty. RIGHT….. 🤣🤣 oh you crack me up! I saw Aerosmith years and years ago in Oakland, CA. They never disappoint. They are SO good! Steven Tyler yes the ladies like him. He’s just got that sex appeal. Couldn’t have anything to do with his moves 😀 and yes he has such a range in his voice. The guitarist you’re thinking of is Joe Perry. Please react to more Aerosmith. There are so many good ones. A couple of their older songs you might like are “Lord of the Thighs” and “Train Kept Rolling”. You’ve been picking some awesome songs for reaction. Thank you!
Heh... The song title threw me the first time I heard it when it was current, then I was informed, and I was like LOL. Aerosmith double entendres are some of the best.
1989 was a great year. We got this album, plus these great albums (me pulling CDs): Skid Row debut Dr. Feelgood - Motley Crue Alice in Hell - Annihilator God, Guns and Guts - Agony Column Sonic Temple -the Cult Wake Me When It’s over - Faster Pussycat Twice Shy - Great White Cocked & Loaded - LA Guns Blessing in Disguise - Metal Church Slip of the Tongue - Whitesnake Prime Evil - Venom Practice What You Preach - Testament Louder Than Love - Soundgarden Leather Boys with Electric Toyz - Pretty Boy Floyd Mr. Big debut Soldier of Fortune - Loundness Junkyard debut Gorky Park debut Funk-o-Metal carpet ride - Electric Boys Dangerous Toys debut Psycho Cafe - Bang Tango Trash - Alice Cooper No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims - D.A.D Danger Danger debut Extreme debut Faith No More debut - the Real Thing Hot in the Shade - Kiss Shotgun Messiah debut Gutter Ballet - Savatage The Great Radio Controversy - Tesla Surprise Attack - Tora Tora Big Game - White Lion XYZ debut Gretchen Goes to Nebraska - Kings X Badlands debut Headless Children - WASP
I lost my virginity in a hotel elevator when I was about 16 years old. a couple of years later this song comes out. it really hit home. Every time I hear this song it brings that memory back.
8:39 That tiny gal is in Arnold's 90's action film , " Total Recall". And daymm, Aerosmith bought the house DOWN with thier live performance of this song on The Billboard Music Awards..Tyler was always one of my most fun front guys to watch..You're right about his voice..It's straight, bar-blasting gnarly party rock. But give props to guitarist J.P..always highly ranked in G.O.A.T polls
35 years 🎂. Great 👍. Written by Steven Tyler, Joe Perry. Produced by the late Bruce Fairbairn. He sang backing vocals and played trumpet 🎺. John Webster on keyboards 🎹. Mixed by Mike Fraser. Recorded in Little Mountain Sound Studios 🎙 in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦. Fairbairn, Webster and Fraser are longtime personnel in the Vancouver music scene. They are/were in-demand performers there. Webster and Fraser are still active. RIP Bruce Fairbairn, Summer 1999, which was 25 years ago. Suggested video 📹: Aerosmith performs What It Takes.
Honestly Aerosmith was the sexiest concert I’ve been to, front row at the concert could touch the scarf best night of my life. So happy I went to that concert especially since he no longer can sing due to voice problems
Reminds me of couple of concerts we saw of them later in their career, 2000 time-frame. They put on a great show performing. He dances like he did in the video and the musicians are just as entertaining. Huge audience participation throughout.
One of the best post-70's Aerosmith songs from 1989... an era that made them even more popular than in their 70's peak... The album was called 'Pump' (for obvious sexual reasons) ... The model in the videos opening was Playboy model Brandi Brant, who married Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and they had 3 kids before they divorced (Nikki claimed he hired a P.I. and caught her cheating on her away trips) Steven Tyler claimed that once he gave up drugs and alcohol in the 80's, it gave him more time for... 😍 But he was married at the time to 2nd wife Teresa, who was credited for saving Steven Tyler's life in the 80's, taking care of him during his worst drug and alcohol phase... However, Steven Tyler (who had 2 children w/ Teresa) separated in 2005 after she began seeing a younger man... Tyler himself had not been faithful as a 'rock star' , as 'Love in an elevator' would suggest.
Around the time I became a fan of Aerosmith. A couple of work mates of mine were HUGE fans and introduced me to them and the album Pump. After this they released Get a grip, another MAJOR album in their catalogue.
Funny back story. Steven was nervous about lying on top of the elevator and kept suggesting ‘ why don’t we just shoot Joe and I sitting on top there playing cards.’ Cracked me up, just too cute. ❤❤❤
One of Joe Perry's best guitar performances is in this tune. I used to hate that the radio version cut off the extended solo. The vocals and harmonies are also stellar.
Another fun one. You got a dirty mind. He's just talking about having nice conversations with people on an elevator. Naw. You were right the first time
yo, this album and music video came out in 1989, so I got hooked on this at 9-yo... This one and Alice Cooper's Poison were always on MTV. ..and these two albums were the 1st cd's I ever bought myself (in '89), and I still got them.
Omg you have me dying laughing - thanks I needed that! 😂. Aerosmith…what can I say. One of the best bands in rock history. Nobody sings like Steven Tyler! They’ve got so many great songs. “What it takes”“Pink”, “Crazy” and older ones “Toys in the Attic’ “Seasons of Wither” are some of my favorites. I’d love to hear your reaction to those!
im currently 33, my dad use to listed to the Oldies, and some of Aerosmiths songs were on the Radio. but in the early to mid 2000s, the game Dead or alive 3, and eventually Dead or a live 2 Ultimate and then 4, the game had Aerosmith on for either the ending, beginning, or insert music. and the the only songs that i remember are "Dream on" from Dead or alive 2 Ultimate, and "Amazing" from dead or alive 4. i actually got some what into Aerosmith because of those games. my top fave Aerosmith Songs are, Dream On, Amazing, livin' on the edge. and i still sing along to those songs.
The first Aerosmith song I ever heard was a very dark story song. "Janies Got a Gun" You have to do that song. It blew my mind and sent me down the Aerosmith rabbit hole and I was in my Forties. Now I have calmed down in my 70's it is the Home Free rabbit hole for me. PS: My husband says I'm crazy because I think Steven Tyler is SEXY. He is 6 Month older than me and I think he is even sexyer now.
I remember this as their comeback album. They did release a few records in between, but none of them were really relevant in the States since 1978. But when this record was released in the height of the MTV era, the whole record was fire!
Old school here. (see my spelling?) I so prefer the playful innuendo over the over the top in your face. Big Led Zep, Purple and Sabbath fan. I guess I like my music like I like my women. Never realised. Eureka! Happy Holidays to host and all who read this. 🥰
Just remember this was before most elevators had cameras 😂
@@melissawood1506 well there is that 🤣🤣🤣
Are you sure they didn’t want to be on camera? 😉
@@RobRager If you're doing it in an elevator I am positive they would loved cameras! Exhibitionism demands it!
😂😂😂The good old days
Most of us wanted cameras.
Janie Got a Gun is awesome ❤
It seems like the logical thing to do.
My favorite
Boy, when I was 14, I'd get home from school, turn on Mtv, and hope for this one, Whitesnake, and Hot for Teacher... Such great music for a boy that age
Don't forget Motley Crue's Girls, Girls, Girls and Wild Side.
If that's what you're going with, why not Crazy? Alicia Silverstone AND Liv Tyler in one video, and there is a stripper pole involved! Yeah, that was always one of my favorites 😂
Your expression 😂 he was WILD back then
Looking at him today...
He looks maybe more wild 😂
Can you imagine his expression when he sees the video for Aerosmith's song "PINK"? 😂
Let's go!!! This song and Rag Doll are two of my favorite songs by them! Please do that one next!! 🙏
Us old folks were listening to Aerosmith on the radio back in the 70's going "Did he just say 'You ain't seen nothing till you're down on a muffin'? How did they ever get THAT on the radio?!?!?!?!"
Back in the Saddle, My favorite Aerosmith song!
Had a chopper pilot in the Army who'd blast that over the intercom when he'd take off. Remains my association with that song to this day.
Yep and way underplayed
Speeding ticket song
Yup, they even got "Air Time" on the radio with this song!!
If you liked this one, you should react to their "Pink" video.
I was 37 when this video came out and I had a 14 year old daughter. I use to watch MTV, but I never saw this video, cause if I had my daughter would of never seen it. I like aerosmith they had some great songs. Seeing this now at 72, whoa this was like watching, I don't want to say, lol.
His voice is wonderful in ‘Don’t want to miss a thing’
70's Aerosmith is the Best and always the first to check out!
Chip Away at the Stone
Mama Kin
Back in the Saddle
Toys in the Attic
Last Child
Remember
Kings and Queens
One of the best songs that displays the vocal range of Steven Tyler is “ What It Takes “
Your expression…😂😂 Nothing should surprise you with Aerosmith 🫶🏻
Wish we could go back to then miss 80-90 music
Their song "Mama Kin" is my absolute favorite. Worthy of a listen if you get a chance also "Rag Doll" is a great one by them.
this hit pretty hard back in the late 80s, If i remember right - they had just re-invented themselves around '87 which included the remix with Run DMC, they had a more "in Your face" vibe and attitude than they did previously - the writing and most definitely the performing went to the next level, which had been an issue back in the late 70s - more often than not, Steven would be so Fd up he couldn't sing or perform and people were pissed at concerts...but loved the mid 70s music so much that they still supported them.
The Man Can sing... and loves to perform, so getting clean and sober made all the difference for Aerosmith.
They hired songwriters. Can't argue with Pump.
Love your reactions. I too am an Air Force brat. The song Amazing by Areosmith is one you need to look into.
I'm an AF brat too. My youngest son is AF working on F-16s. Rockstar 🤟
I grew up listening to Aerosmith in the 70s all the way until they retired. He could rock it even at 70. Steven Tyler and Aerosmith are in my top 3 with Def Leppard and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. I've seen them all at least 6 times.
A lot of Aerosmith songs will make you blush. 80's were wild.
Aerosmith as a band is one of the most iconic of all time for good reason.
Speaking of...
There is a video of Sir Mix A Lot performing Baby Got Back with an Orchestra and he asked ladies to come on the stage and dance.
It's amazing!😅
Tyler was a true poet…a master of innuendo.
Used to be able to dance to Aerosmith at local clubs - we didn’t know how lucky we were!
I worked with a band that supported Aerosmith. I met Mr Tyler in an elevator when we stayed at same hotel well my mind was blown 😂😂
I remember staying up late at night waiting for Headbanger's Ball on MTV hoping to see this video.
Gotta love Aerosmith and the 80's.
"Love in an elevator, who would have thought". Apparently, everyone who grew up in the 80's. 😅
Love your reactions.
Born in '79. Grew up listening to this, and this was tame.
Another great song from Aerosmith ! Such an iconic band
Finally a good aerosmith video!! This is a hiliarious song!! This is when they came back... you gotta do Ragdoll too... Love it...9 lives, live for 10... have had so many dreams about Steven and Joe!!

The first Aerosmith song I remember hearing and the one that made me start liking them was "Ragdoll." Also has a great video to go with it.
Yep never seen. Kinda glad I had my own visual. Love Aerosmith. I didn't watch MTV 😮
Honestly Aerosmith was the sexiest concert I’ve been to, front row at the concert could touch the scarf best night of my life. So happy I went to that concert especially since he no longer can sing due to voice problems

Thank you. Exactly.
One of my all time favs is Seasons of Wither on Get Your Wings album from 1974
Love em or hate em, these boys could play and sing.

He said, "...straight to my room!". LMAO same here, same here...I was 16 when this released! haha
Oh you played the version with the extended ( proper) guitar solo. Love it
I'm 💀! Once again your expressions are hilarious!😅😅😅
I know people will argue about classic 70's Aerosmith and after the 80's come back, but this album, Pump!, is a great album to me.
Around the time I became a fan of Aerosmith. A couple of work mates of mine were HUGE fans and introduced me to them and the album Pump. After this they released Get a grip, another MAJOR album in their catalogue.
Aerosmith is so much fun. Music of my youth!!
Funny back story. Steven was nervous about lying on top of the elevator and kept suggesting ‘ why don’t we just shoot Joe and I sitting on top there playing cards.’ Cracked me up, just too cute. ❤❤❤

I was fixing to say you almost had me there 😄😄😄😄
😅
😅
Has everyone forgotten about RAGDOLL, the best Arerosmith Music Video
I remember when this was on MTV!😂😂❤
Check out 'Rag Doll'😅
Aerosmith is one of the most well oiled machines in Rock n' Roll. Seen them 4 times and they are a superb band🎼
80s classic
yo, this album and music video came out in 1989, so I got hooked on this at 9-yo... This one and Alice Cooper's Poison were always on MTV. ..and these two albums were the 1st cd's I ever bought myself (in '89), and I still got them.
With Steven Tyler, you never know what’s coming next!! Lol Love this group!
Keep up with aerosmith killing it!
The trumpeter kind of sound at the end...straight off Beatle -esque ...so many influenced by them!
I can remember renting 'Pump' at the videostore when it came out, I loved that album. It put Aerosmith back in the limelight.
OMG! Aerosmith live in the 80s & 90s...what an experience! Best was New Years at the Garden!!!
your expressions, priceless LOL
The best Aerosmith is the groovy stuff. This groove kills.
Wow, that girls a beauty
Omg you have me dying laughing - thanks I needed that! 😂.
Aerosmith…what can I say. One of the best bands in rock history. Nobody sings like Steven Tyler! They’ve got so many great songs. “What it takes”“Pink”, “Crazy” and older ones “Toys in the Attic’ “Seasons of Wither” are some of my favorites. I’d love to hear your reaction to those!
You can always except the unexpected from Aerosmith!!🎵🎼🎶🎸🎤🎙🎧🎹🥁🔥🤘🤘🤘

Great Aerosmith song!
Aerosmith’s 90’s comeback!

Now I have calmed down in my 70's it is the Home Free rabbit hole for me. PS: My husband says I'm crazy because I think Steven Tyler is SEXY. He is 6 Month older than me and I think he is even sexyer now.
Probably about half the stuff that came out in the 80s they wouldn’t get away with now. Thank God I lived back then. It was a better time.
How much love has Aerosmith had? Yes...
Great song brother
YEAH !!!!
I remember this as their comeback album. They did release a few records in between, but none of them were really relevant in the States since 1978. But when this record was released in the height of the MTV era, the whole record was fire!
Aerosmith always delivers!! Love them. Steven Tyler is one of the best front men rock has had IMO. The screamin demon has those pipes.
Steven Tyler "Aerosmith", Steve Perry " Journey" Joe Perry "Aerosmith guitarist" 😂 This song reached #5 on Billboard!!
Lol😮😂😢🎉😅😮
Tyler was a freeeeak!!
🌸 "I'm a good boy" oook😂
I sadly wasn't an Aerosmith fan until they did the "comeback" with Run DMC the song Walk This Way remix .
That shit hit right! 🤟

Your face is a joy to watch here 😂😂😂
Loved the alliteration. 😂
