I'll start by saying I love this band and their music. Very excited for the new music too but i have a point i wanna make about this band. So, rings played my city and I went to buy merch at the table, lucas was there. He didnt even look at me, didnt say thanks after i spent over 100 dollars on their stuff I stood there and looked at him in shock for a second and he looks up at me and says "You going to buy anything else because you're blocking the line and need to move".I couldn't believe it. i saw him hanging out with some girl being really normal and friendly at the merch booth minutes after i had bought all that stuff. It was one of the worst feelings ive had. Second experience when they were in my city again was miles at the merch booth and he was super friendly asked how my night was going and if i enjoyed the show was real genuine and just down to earth. I was a few dollars short for a wall banner i got and he said dont worry about it and sold it to me anyways. If you dont want your entire night and experience ruined dont get merch when lucas is at the booth. He is a piece of shit for that and I cant believe how I was treated.
When they came to Vegas, Lucas didn't look at the crowd once and looked like he was having a shit time and was bored as hell. Miles, on the other hand, looked like he was having a blast and was (when he could) looking out into the crowd and making a connection. Also, Aaron, their drummer, is an awesome guy as well. I talked to him for a minute, and he was friendly and wasn't a prick. Also, Lucas didn't come out until AFTER all the sets were over, either that or he was highly elusive. Either way, RoS is still one of my favorite bands of all time.
DeathCore Enthusiast yea in MN Lucas just stood in one spot the whole show. But the vocalist (forgot his name lol) ran Kerch before show and I talked to him chilled. He was playing super smash bros on his 3ds while waiting for people😂 and I watched him play for a bit
Never seen anyone complain about Etherial Guitars ever. I've talked abit with them over Facebook since I'm planning on getting one, they seem like really cool and experienced guys. When the guitars are forged out of carbon fiber and have stainless steel fretboard + the electronics of your choice, how can they be bad quality?
Lucas has cats eye pearl as a finish, not just a natural finish. But the guitar is amazing, I have the same one with a Pegasus and Sentient pickup set, sounds great. pretty funny I put their guitars together without realizing it.xD
Why didn't they include Guitar Pro, everyone knows that's Rings of Saturn's most important piece of equipment, along with Pro Tools' quantize and time stretch features.
These dudes can own any guitar that they want...yet they play Korean built Schecter production models? I can't believe he said that hes played other guitars but prefers a Schecter. He should try a Japanese built ESP...he might change his mind lol. I was a Schecter fan until I got a chance to play guitars built from Japan...that was when I realised what a big difference the origin of the guitar makes.
Jeffrey Alhandy yes, just comment3d this on their new studio video, ppl saying how clean playing he is... yes he's great, but come on, do you not see the wrap ffs
uh yea, and you probably use a pick because you're too shitty to play with your thumbnail. if you're gonna talk shit, try and come up with something decent... not some nancy nitpicking bullshit.
Everyone always shits on Lucas for being a douche, which he very well may be I've never met him, but perhaps he just has bad anxiety around people or something? Idk just a thought. I have some friends who can be very much the way that some people describe him as and they just have a hard time being around others. I'm sure it's weird being in a position where you have "fans" that you have to interact with as well. perhaps he's not as bad as some people make him out to be.
Hunna Piercer if he has such bad anxiety then he's in the wrong business. Perhaps he has a "rock star mentality" and has let this fame go to his head? Or if he can't be around people he needs to find another line of work because being in a working band you have to interact with your fans because without fans you're nothing. Just my opinion.
is Lucas man dying faster than most of us or did he go thru puberity twice im worried for the mann we need to put him in a cryogentic thingy from futurama
Just got my banshee elite 7 yesterday and it's a damn beast. Only thing is the stock pickups lack bite. Personally for that high dollar guitar they should have at least put in the apocalypse pups.
After reading threads about Kiesel's QC issues and Jeff's douchebaggery, I'd probably trust a Korean-made Schecter more than a $3000 Kiesel full of errors.
All new bands now using computers and pro tools for effects thats give no room for improvisation during the show its like robots!!! And we dont eve nknow whats its real live or fake anymore !
Rings of Saturn's Lucas Mann & Miles Baker show off their guitar gear!
Who should we film with next?
Do another one one on one with Lucas so it can show how much prick he is.
I don't suppose you could do one with Aaron, could you?
I would love to see him talk about what he uses
Angelmaker please, i love them man !!!
the bassist
@@jeffreyalhandy5641 how idiotic
Great seeing you again dude, thanks for the shoot. Catch ya next time we are in Chicago!
You are very welcome! Always a pleasure! :)
Miles Dimitri Baker, the most humble dude in metal. :)
Sir, You have to meet Cannibal Corpse.
He's awesome!
Alex Webster, specifically
corpsegrinder and gene hoglan is the most humble people

this guy looks different everytime i see him. also he always has a different guitar...
non-human confirmed:D
:)
Lucas Mann has now entered his Between the Buried and Me look.
:)
Josh Lmfaoooooooo
Why hasn't anyone made them custom alien guitars yet? Come on Schecter!
Not sure. Hopefully soon!
Jeff T They had Etherial Guitars for a while. Those look pretty alien.
Hmmm....
Don't know why they dropped Etherial, they were perfect for Rings of Saturn. Now they've just moved back to human basic guitars.
@@bikinipuncake724 because theyre absolute fucking garbage and have 0 positive reviews from owners

Miles is one of our favorites!
A lot of people have had that same experience. He's a top notch prick.
Yeah, after my experience I will not support Lucas anymore. Anyone who treats their fans with that much disrespect doesnt deserve it.

If you ever get the chance to meet and see these guys take it. They're the chillest and best live band around.
:)
Miles is a cool dude, Lucas is a douche in person
Those Schecters look really classy!
Most definitely! :)
Ayyy my guys🤘🏾🤘🏾 miles is a great guy and great guitarist
Definitely!
Lucas starting off the interview with control issues. “Also from Rings of Saturn..”
Mann's signature Etherial was universes above that medicore Korean made Schehter.
Zvonimir Tomić You'd have to be an idiot to bring a one of a kind guitar on tour though.
Etherial's are notoriously shit quality control wise. Smart move not playing crap on tour.
Never seen anyone complain about Etherial Guitars ever. I've talked abit with them over Facebook since I'm planning on getting one, they seem like really cool and experienced guys. The new 'mediocre Korean' Schecters have better fit and finish than American made Fenders nowadays!
Thats such a great traveling setup. Sounds great live, Ive seen them twice in less than a year.
It really is quite nice.
Yeah, lean and mean. You got me thinking about trading the axe fx in.
:)
I'd keep the axe fx. Barely takes up any room and sounds amazing. Got rid of mine, regret.
It really is sick, dont think I could bring myself to sell it anyways. Very impressed with how bias and your band sound live tho.
pretty sic, didnt know i was hearing bias live, knew it was a modeler of some type, couldnt put my finger on it
Thanks for watching!

Love these guitars so fucking much
:)
I would sell my soul to meet the band. Great video DTB!
Glad you liked it!
You playing that thing for real Lucas? Asking for a friend.
aye i'm a lefty
Nice
no stage volume?
Hilariously, I am wearing my RoS shirt right now.
Nice!!
I love Lucas's voice
Thanks for watching.
No problem man, You make the best videos for gear :)
Why didn't they include Guitar Pro, everyone knows that's Rings of Saturn's most important piece of equipment, along with Pro Tools' quantize and time stretch features.
Did Lucas put electrical tape (or something ??) on the fretboard? Because I can still kinda see the original inlays poking out of the "blocks".
Yup, he uses some kind of tape.
I'm a lefty and i learned to play right handed, because that's what was around. I've always wondered if I would play better left handed.
Wow, that's interesting. Yeah, lefty instruments are definitely harder to come by.
hahaha Miles so sweet like ever....
Never change dude !!!
Definitely!
"We have so much cool shit coming out in the month of May"
realises a teaser and a gear video. Jesus demands the new album. I'm fucking pumped.
Schecter is pretty official. I like my Omen Extreme 7 w/ push pull tone knob. Dig the gear selection.
"Thanks for listening about all our equipment." Have no equipment
#DI life.
shout out to the lefty!! i have the same jacket as miles. dope!
:)
Anybody know if the schecter pickups are as good as he says? compared to say the Nazgul
I'm not sure, sorry.
Can't wait!
Thanks for watching
Best gear masters ep.!!!
So glad you liked it!
Do a vid series on vulvodynia
We appreciate the suggestion
❤❤❤
I can defnately see why these guys play these guitars, these guitars are fucking fantastic!
Thanks for watching.
cool that Miles use Elixrs I seriously can't use any other kind of string
:)
Have you tried DR Extra Life?
Labedincoln you and me both dude, I love feeling how slick they are compared to other strings. They make my playing a LOT faster.
That's defiantly Alienware in the guitars they use 😂❤
Haha!
Rings of Saturn is best known for their songs "Senseless Massacre" and "Lugal Ki En"." The latter is their 3rd album. Get your stuff right.
We appreciating you noticing our mistake. There are definitely more polite ways to point it out though. Just fixed it though.
Yeah, I was a bit pissed off that day. Sorry :D

To each their own.
They are not rich and dont ahve sponsors or signature guitars !!! They have a van for transport so i dont think they can own what they want !!
0:30 "A string dampener because I need it to help cover up how sloppy of a guitar player I am." is what he really meant to say.
this
Jeffrey Alhandy yes, just comment3d this on their new studio video, ppl saying how clean playing he is... yes he's great, but come on, do you not see the wrap ffs
thats in a studio video, he doesnt use it live. lucas does though....

Lucas Is amazing. If he leaves music he should be a model, everytime y see him he have a new look.
Thanks for watching
SHOW US THE LAPTOP 😤
YYYYYEEEESSSS

Should try and do one with black tongue if you ever catch them
We'll try. Ultimately, it's up to them, not us.

Hunna Piercer no dude trust me it’s not anxiety lmao
DeathCore Enthusiast damn man I’m so sorry to hear that
is Lucas man dying faster than most of us or did he go thru puberity twice im worried for the mann we need to put him in a cryogentic thingy from futurama
Pegasus? Should've went Nazgul

woah
Thanks for watching.
no..thanks for uploading¡)
I want your beanie lucas
Thanks for watching.
Fucking right.
Thanks for checking out the video!
You should do Keep of Kalessin or Satyricon!
We'll look into it.
Miles is touring with Metallica even as I type this. You can't hid great talent.
No whammy bar? Isn't that a crucial part of a lot of their solos?
Not sure, sorry.
Stalwart Spartan
They can use a whammy pedal.
I only keep bridge pickup down because it's just better. N you should do them agian
Ooo shit a nerd Mann
Lucas Mann always strikes me as very pretentious, he probably isn't I just get that vibe from him
nobody is perfect
Rothleyy when you're as good at guitar as he is, you can be a bit pretentious and get away with it.
I know what you mean but he actually seemed really chill in this.
He was nice to us.
Rothleyy hes known for being a jackass. I can assure you Miles is superior in personality traits and guitar playing
Why don't they use the BIAS head then...? :o
Not sure
"this is my 4 foot zong"
Wtf, that's not Lucas, that's Mike become the night.
so he cant play open strings?
lucas man gear : "computer"
#ShouldaBeenAKiesel
After reading threads about Kiesel's QC issues and Jeff's douchebaggery, I'd probably trust a Korean-made Schecter more than a $3000 Kiesel full of errors.
Benji P.C. Whatever floats your boat man. :)
lukasssss '-'/
You ever going to have some real metal bands on here? Almost every video is of some shit metalcore band. Do some real death metal bands.
We've featured plenty of bands from all different genres over the years.
I just realized you guys don't create good quality sound live, because you don't use amps, pedals, wired guitars, etc.
These dudes can talk all day about playing guitar but when comes down to writing an ok song, not so much.
