Love how the bass player is getting covered by guitars even when he's giving an interview.
These videos are filmed under extreme time constraints, so filming during soundchecks sometimes happen.
This is typical for bass players we are kinda use to it. We find a way to cut through yet sit in the mix and make music heavier or have more groove just depends on whats needed.
The guitarist sounds just like Karpizzle.
Karpizzle? Who's that?
+Digital Tour Bus He's the guy who makes the how to be a metal vocalist videos. Look up the UA-cam channel "Jhofffilms"
Colton Hamilton I've never seen those videos, but I'll go check them out!
I know right?
Holy shit he does
pinard is awesome. such an enthusiastic guy and such an amazingly talented musician
Definitely!
Saw him at namm ,,playing to a backing track , to a cattle decap tune ,, the most brutal crushing bass tone I've ever heard ... He had people destroyed .. done
How to be a bassist in a famous touring metal band:
Step 1: Spector Euro Lx 5
Step 2: ????
Step 3: profit
Hehe. South Park reference. 🤘
Underpants gnomes would be proud
*Listening to the bass setup* Oh swee- *DUNNNNNNNN*
Thanks for watching.
I love Cryptopsy and met them in 2013. Nicest dudes, really down to earth. Talked to Chris about production and he was really helpful.
Definitely nice guys!
Whoa how did I never see this video up until now? They're my all time favorite, saw them in Moncton a couple years ago and got to chat with Chris and Matt a few times during the night, as well as Oli right after their set for like 15 minutes. They made themselves really approachable so it made the experience even better. All around great musicians and great guys :)
Couldn't agree more! They're great guys!
I saw them back in 2016 the entire band especially the bassist were phenomenal.
Definitely!
Damn! I gotta get a compressor now
5:54 is just funny
Hey! I've got that same Ibanez! Someone stole my previous one so I replaced it with that. I still miss the stolen one but that's a great guitar.
Anytime anything gets stolen it sucks!
Been a fan of these guys for years... Bassist sounds like a fun dude. They might not sound as good as they used to, but I still respect everyone for keeping the band going. That new EP sounds killer, actually.
Another reason i love cryptopsy \M/ spector basses are life .. As a spector guy the basses are phenominal (old q4 pro swapped electronics with a 18 volt darkglass tone capsule and a violet fade euro 5 lt will be joining soon).. Wheres the drum love though? Triggers mics drum sizes? Sticks? Heads? Throne?
Unfortunately, the drummer didn't want to join the fun. Also, as you might have been able to tell from the surroundings, this video was filmed while 3 or 4 other bands were loading in, setting up, and soundchecking.
@@digitaltourbus figured time constraints dont make things easy love the video guys keep up the awesome content..
Stand up guys from Quebec 👍
Definitely!!
What about an episode with Ulcerate or Vektor?
We can definitely look into it.
Cryptopsy shows off the the gear that they use on tour!
What bands should we film with next?
HEAVEN SHALL BURN \M/
***** We'll try our best!
Yogi Yahya We'll look into trying to film with them!
Belphegor!!!!!!!!! gear review would be sick!!!!
Abysmal dawn

Thanks for watching.

Unfortunately we could do drums. Sorry!
Olivier! What up?! #spectorbass
🤘
Strings dead after 2 shows... but loves em
Most touring bands change their strings every couple of shows.
please share the profile Christian
Use elixir they last and are the best.
i have no idea what theyre talking about
No Flo? pshhhhh
Dustin_sound Flo is in Vltimas with David Vincent.
No Jon Levasseur, no Cryptopsy.
brogin sad but true
brogin exactly what's next no flo
Their last ep is is quite good, but it's weird because not the same band :/
While some of that is true, you gotta give Cryptopsy credit that they're still rocking on after all that time. Playing exhausting shows all over the world and blessing us with new recordings. There isn't really a band like Cryptopsy and some of the shit you can read in comments here on their videos is just sad. Spoiled idiots who have no appreciation for their work really.
damn, is he using an iron label? fuck thats cheap.
they play in e
Thanks for the info.
Kempers are so boring😞 they don’t have personality like real amps
Super convenient for touring musicians though.
