Hello friends! Thank you for coming back. I hope you will enjoy watching my video. Helping me and my channel is very simple and free of charge. Just like and share :) Thank you very much! All the best and greetings from Germany, Hans
Hi Hans, Nice job thanks again. Always great to see you and a new adventure. That sprocket looking thing....may be for old revolver? Just my guess. Happy hunting and great fineds my friend. Paul in Augusta
Hey Hans. Always look forward to your videos. Your English is very good. Did you ever stay a while in Yorkshire England? You have said a few words [which I can’t remember) which immediately made my ears prick up.
@@PP-ob8zr At first I thought similarly, but it's awfully small for that purpose unless it's a part that fits at the extreme rear of a revolving cylinder. It's definitely made to turn in one direction.
Hans, another fine (and relaxing) video. You present a bit of adventure, education, and art (because you always show the area you are working)...pure unhurried pleasure
Hallo Hans! Tolles beruhigendes Video!
Hi Hans Your second mystery item @11.55 is a weight, they cast them in lead at roughly the correct weight, and then that hole underneath is where they pour a little extra lead to bring the weight up to the correct specification. Usually as well the checker will stamp a little touch mark in the hole to say it has been tested and found true. Regards Chris
New to your channel my friend..I'm watching the backlog of videos every moment I get... fantastic to see such dedication in your search patterns..as you said.."I like to detect a small area properly rather than a big place willy nilly" something I have now carried into my own way of detecting..I'm not sure you'll see this comment? Hi, Hans, congratulations for your interesting finds. One of the two misterious pieces, the one star shape and green patina, could probably be a gear of an old wall clock.
Hi I am a bit late watching your video but the mysery itm is probably part of a ratchet- the edges would allow a spring leaf to be either tightend or allow a separator to work with let's say seed being dropped at intervals from a seed-casting appliance. Excellent videos as always Hans.
Bonjour 😊 Je regarde tes vidéos depuis très longtemps et je les adore ! J'aime les images, la musique, ton enthousiasme et bien plus encore ! En plus, j'apprends l'anglais ... GOOD JOB ❤❤❤
Another great adventure Hans and as always you find the many great items. That American Coin was so crusty. Great little coin spill again. ATB GL & HH LittleJohn_MD 🇬🇧
The belt hook you found is the second model WW1 belt ramp and the one you showed with the small crown was the first model. Because it was a later wartime item that explains the cheap material.
Hello again! The back of the 5 cent US is Jefferson's home Monticello . So awesome to see you again so soon. Best way to start my day ! Thanks for taking me along. I collect foreign coins. There are very many German ones in my collection. I am very happy to have them ! Take care and be safe in your travels.
@David M FYI for Hans, the reverse side of the Jefferson nickel depicts Monticello, the plantation house that Jefferson designed and is designated a National Historic Landmark.
Hi Hans an amazing hunt again my friend I'm in agreement with some of your comments the cog thing looks like its from a revolver and the lead thing at 11:50 could be a gaming piece of a, wheel from a child's toy GL&HH buddy Simon
I was excited to see you posted a new video!! I’m relaxed and excited at the same time when watching your videos . Relaxed listening to the sounds of the wind and the views of the vast countryside..... then excited when your digging to see what you unearth!! I’m extra excited when the relic you discover is from ancient times... holding it in your hands and showing us What it is or may be!!! So Thank you so much for your time and beautiful videos !!! Bye for now Kathy Washington State
Great video as per usual - beautiful photography. That gear thing is a revolver ratchet gear. Probably from ww2. The wheel looking thing I think is a detonator insert for a shell casing? All the best to you x
It can't be a gun it has 9 ratchet teeth to 6 chambers and the ratchet teeth are slightly different lengths. Plus, it's got some hand hammering and is made out of brass. Those were always made out of hardened steel since it's literally the most used part of the gun. Weapons in WWII were machined with extreme precision.
Finding a new video from you so soon was a very nice surprise. Thank you. A few nice and unusual finds from this pretty pasture. (The color of your blue shirt looks nice on you.) Take care and may God bless you and yours.
We've a new Saturday morning relaxing routine. My hubby watches western movies while I watch your videos. As always, your videos are very well done,. I enjoy your enthusiasm and attention to detail. I was excited about the Jefferson nickel because I recognized it right away despite the poor state it is in. Thank you for sharing these with us.
Love to watch your videos. Great scenery. Love your channel, regardless of what you find, it's always exciting to watch the videos.A big thumbs up , can't wait for the next one.
What a beautiful area to detect in Hans, the scenery is breathtaking and the large bird you showed us looked like a kite to me. The second mystery item looks like lead, dangerous to handle and my guess was also a wheel from a toy car. It is always a joy to watch your videos Hans, thank you for filming them and taking such care in the making and editing of them. Take care my friend, good luck and happy hunting Mary-Ellen UK
11:53 : at a moment..I thought it could be a piece (lead ?) from a 'board game' but... I wonder if it could be "related" somehow...to the previous piece...?!? That "Jefferson coin" (late 1700's...??) is in a..."strange" state...thinking on the SOIL of that FIELD... Nice finds...very pleasant views...good work !
The Jefferson nickel was first minted in 1938. That obverse was used through 2004, after which a new face of Jefferson has been used. The condition is rather strange, as nickel usually holds up well.
Its nice when I can identify a coin that you have trouble with. I knew what it was immediately. Its a shame our countries have gone cheap with our coins because there won't be much of anything for future detecting people to find because they're no longer made of any precious metals. Awesome as usual, always a treat when my notification bell is ringing telling me I have a choice video from Hans. Thank you, you're just the best.
Two beautiful videos on top if each other! Thanks ever so much. I love your beautiful photography and clever editing. I wish other UA-camrs would follow your lead.
Ein schönes Video wie immer Hans :D Bei dem runden "Maschinenteil" tippe ich auf ein Teil von einem Trommelrevolver aber aufgrund des Materials eher auf einen Spielzeug Revolver. I've never seen a Jeferson nickel so beat. Must put something really acidic on that field.
Charles Copeland ya no joke....
Was thinkin the same. Looked more like a lump of metal than a nickel.
Me too, wow, what a mess!
Same. I pulled hundreds of Jefferson’s out and that’s a first to see one so disintegratied and pitted and extremely gone.
