Great hunt! Congrats on the Liberty Cap! Really nice Seated Quarter & 2-Cent. Those IHP’s in the 70’s don’t come out often. I really like the Dandy Button. Looks like a snowflake design. Lots of nice finds! HH
Congrats Mike on the liberty cap and that dandy button is stunning. your right those people must of been well off, that seated is beautiful also some killer hunts keep it up
All I can say is WOW Mike. You have the most amazing hunts and that Seated quarter is gorgeous, she was lost very early in her life. I'm thinking this year I'm going to try doing some detecting in the woods in my area we have a lot of history here.👊👊👊
Well, young man....all I can say is congratulations on some incredible finds to end up 2024!!! Seriously, the 1794....the seated quarter.... the buttons....WOW! Really not much else I can say but WOW!! Now if you can carry that on into 2025 (with Emma and Mom of course)........gonna be awesome! Take care, be safe (hope your Christmas and New Year were great) and God bless!
How's it going Mike? Very Nice couple of Hunts. Greg Congrats on the 1864 IHP. Mike the Dandy Button is got to be the Nicest Looking Button I've ever watched anyone dig up. Wow. Love the smaller very detailed Button also. Congrats on the 1865 2 Cent Coin. Still a Bucket Lister. Congrats on the 1794 Liberty Cap Copper and the 1856 Seated Quarter. Beautiful. The Lock Slide is still on my Bucket List also. This is one Relic I would think I'd of found by now. But that's why we like detecting you never know until we dig it. Congrats on all the Wheaties, IHPS, and Relics there. Hope you and the Duo Family had an awesome New Year. Take Care Crazie Digging
You did really well Dad. You shine when you have no compaction. Your so called buckle part is the handle off a tap. The olde hammered in taps that go into kegs. I have found plenty of them. The best on have no handle like that , but a triangular protrusion that in inset, and tales a special ket to fit it and turn on the good stuff. We call those swingy bit Key hole covers. Keeps out the mud hornets.
That rock possibly could be a braiding stone for grinding the edges of a point or shaft straightener. It would have to be examined by an expert. Enjoyed your video. Nice finds!

I think that brass piece you thought might be part of a buckle, is the top of a barrel tap key

The rock looks like a palm guard. Not sure about it being native, but agree it looks like a tool of some sort for sure.

Thanks for the feedback. It seems like it was designed that way.
