I used to think a leather rope was fast, but retired them years ago in favor of licorice and cable ropes. I think the only thing I have against cable ropes is that if they even minutely nip any part of your feet or body, you're much more likely to have a stop vs. licorice.
100% agree with you. Also, max speed isn't always the objective. In fact, in many cases a rope is too fast for the user. Using a cable rope right out of the gate would be like learning to drive on a Formula 1 race car. It's a disaster waiting to happen.
Thank you! Either method works fine but we believe the “1-foot” method is faster which is an important consideration in a large class. We’ve also figured out the correct rope length for people of *most* heights and you can find that information on our website. As jumpers get more skilled they can generally use a shorter rope.
It's so pleasant to watch a skilled jumper, and nice to see people in the background working out as well
Thank you. I love Shana's jump roping :) good job on the web site by the way.
Don't kno Shana. But I suspect she is a very switched on person, a very cool person to be around.

You think you can tape this away from the background noise??

It really depends on so many factors. Safety always comes first.
