@@ericdove39 He probably understood some deep cut kitchen references as well, like her calling him an "amuse bouche" (something that looks and tastes flashy but is just bite sized and has no real substance).
Gordon's interaction with cooks on his shows are based on the level of experience of the contestant. He is great and patient with the kids on MasterChef Junior because they have the talent but not a lot of experience. On the other hand, he has little patience for the cooks on Hell's Kitchen because there is a set of skills they are assumed to already have when they get there.
And the other show you are thinking of is Next Level Chef.

She is referencing her time in the OSS during WW2 (Which would later become the CIA)...and she was instrumental in developing a recipe for shark repellent to keep sharks from accidentally detonating sea mines...she was a badass lady with a heart of gold...so yeah, Agent Child...sounds weird...but I wouldn't mess with her...(Though it would actually be Agent McWilliams, her maiden name)

All his screaming and cursing is just for the american TV. When he filmed Kitchen Nightmare in England, he barely screamed or cursed, he was nice, gave good advices and so on. I think he just hate it when people waste food or call themself well trained chefs when they can't even cook an egg

2:29 - I think the rubber fish is supposed to be a shark. When Julia Child was young, she was in the military for a while. They put out the word that they really needed a good shark repellant and Julie invented one that really worked.
The shark repellent was to put on mines because sharks were trying to play bump things in their area, and kept blowing them up in WW2

the show you are thinking of is called Next Level Chef, they are on season 2 of it. There are a ton of cooking/culinary phrases used in this that will get lost on most. They pulled a lot from Gordon's tv shows for references and themes.
"The F Word" is a double as Gordon has a show called that over in the UK.
The dramatic pause is pulled from the commercial break timing from the show Hell's Kitchen.
In Childs' book, you can actually turn to page 408 and it shows how to cook cow brains.

Julia won for two reasons: She was a BAMF (the shark repellent line is about when she worked for a precursor to CIA and developed a recipe for literal shark repellent) and also because she attacks Gordon's behaviour and things he can control. Gordon mainly just takes the route of all men who try to put a woman down when he doesn't have a leg to stand on - he tells her he finds her unattractive. Repeatedly. Please, Gordon! Find someone who cares 😂

There seem to be a lot of things that you don't understand. One example was the F - word line. Gordon used to have a show called "The F word" Thats what that line was referencing.

I can't eat bread, gives me bad indigestion, wasn't like this until a few months before i turned 34 back in november......also beef.
I can still eat chicken, fish and pork though. Also cheezits give me indesgtion, but stuff like grippoes, doritoes, and cheetoes don't.
I miss burgers and beef jerky....getting older sucks. i don't have diabetes, and i'm not fat so there's that i guess....
I had to give up bread and pork (among other things) in my 20s when I became allergic to them (or so I thought). In my 40's, my colon burst and I found out I'd had diverticulitis all my life, undiagnosed, and it caused a lot of my food issues. Since my surgery to repair my colon, I can eat bread again. I haven't ventured to try pork again ... too hard to give it up again if I still can't tolerate it, and I go easy on all meat these days because they sit so heavy now. You might want to have a colonoscopy and make sure you don't have diverticulitis or another condition of the colon that is causing your issues. Bread was so horrible for me until the condition was treated and fixed in me. Might not be what's causing your problems, but it doesn't hurt to check. :)

Julia Childs truly is the GOAT. She was a culinary star back before that was even a thing - she made it a thing! Also, did you know? She served as a researcher in the Office of Strategic Services (the forerunner of the CIA) during World War 2. No one's taking her down! She's as tough as they come. 😊❤

Gordon's a stand-up guy, but i'm sure that he's also very passionate about Cooking and Food, so to say that his personality is 100% staged, i strongly doubt that's the case, everybody has their kryptonite.
As someone else on here commented, Gordon likely has little patience for the contestants on shows like Hell's Kitchen, because there's an assumed standard they're supposed to be at. Meanwhile he's more like his 'real self' (if you consider how he acts on most of his shows to be a performance) when working with kids.

I think there's legitimate criticism that 80% of Child's lines were just variations of "you're mean," but when Ramsay himself says she won, accept it. (I'm just saying I understand that criticism but I do agree that Julia won hands down)

i disagree with Julia Child win, cause most of her bars was about Gordon Ramsey personality (and about him being younger, but that backfired), while his bars was attacking from all sides (using too much butter in her recepies, him being innovator while she was just mastering french cuisine, etc.)
He had exactly 2 minutes. From start of his first verse to end of his second, 2 minutes exactly. edit: And yeah, Julia wins that one easily
