It wasn't anything gross Ronald comparing himself to Nice Peter and BK as Epic Lloyd. Ronald is played by Nice Peter, and BK is Epic Lloyd, the founders of Epic Rap Battles. So it wasn't gross, just corny and props to you for giving Ronald 3rd.
The thing with ice cream machines is, they can only be fixed by specific companies, which makes it slower (but they won't change the contract, because the owners of mc donalds also have shares in those companies)

I remember being on Twitter while the Wendy's account was roasting the heck out of people some guy said he didn't have a Wendy's near where he lived and they told him to move. it was hilarious
the facing da feet line was about a Burger King employee taking a picture of another employee standing on lettuce (in their shoes) in the metal storage containers they use at counters.
On that note more than just that lettuce was contaminated when the health inspector came by all involved were fired and I believe charged and they lost a lot of money because of everything contaminated

Wheres the beef wasnt about real meat, it was the size of the burgers. The old lady would always say "wheres the beef" while looking a giant bun with a small piece of meat. One of the most iconic ad campaigns ever.
They originally demoed this battle with just the two in the title. All of the comments said they needed Wendy, so they added the third verse when they did the video.
Justin Timberlake is the voice to the famous “ba da da da da I’m loving it” jingle.. it was written by Pusha T as well.
I remember Wendy’s salad bars, a friend of mine worked there during high school during the time Wendy’s got rid of them.
A customer once asked him “where’s the salad bar?” When he was cleaning the lobby. My buddy looked over to where is used to be and in a shocked voice said, “holy crap, someone stole the salad bar?”
Dude, I remember when KFC had an all you can eat buffet bar.
For a starving college kid, that was magical.
I'm so old I worked the Wendy's salad bar in the early 80s. Wendy's really did do everything fresher and better than the other two (except Wendy's fries were never as good.) But then costs went up and they had to start cutting back on the freshness unfortunately.

If I remember correctly, McDonald's chicken nuggets are made by Tyson. They responded to the pink slime rumor with a tour of their factory and showed the whole process. It's real chicken. 😂

The line you might’ve missed was the tomato exploitation. The Coalition of Immokalee Workers, as well as other farmers have protested Wendy’s. Most fast food places are partnered with the Fair Food Program ensuring rights for tomato pickers, Wendy’s is not. Tomato growers often face forced labor, terrible working conditions, and little to no pay in other countries. That’s where Wendy’s tomatoes come from. I’m not trying to dampen the mood on a fun video, but they brought it up!

As a former BK employee I can confirm the impossible whoppers were cooked through the same broiler that the regular patties went through.

I worked in a BK in the early 90s and more than once my coworkers sent me to the McDonald's up the street to pick up food for their breakfast breaks. I was the only one who didn't care about ordering food in McDonald's wearing a BK uniform. Some of the looks were hilarious. 😂

"Have it your way" has always been BK slogan, until McDonald's tried to steal it. McDonald's was always known in the 80s & 90s to be very stringent on how you can customize your menu selections, conversely, BK was always known for allowing customizations, beyond what most burger franchises would offer.
The "Horse-meat" reference is even before my time. It was uncovered or at least by tons of News channels rumored at least that MANY many public schools served horse meat in their burgers in the cafeteria lunch to K-12 kids.
BK's Onion rings made them famous for separating from the ever-ubiquitously served French fries at burger restaurants.
BK - Mac n' Cheetos were introduced in late June 2016 - They were just a bag of Cheetos you could order as a side item. They weren't very popular.
It really helps to know a lot about the characters & their history as they reference so many things in their jabs; History, Literature, Pop culture, and commercials in this case. The more you know about the characters, the better you can appreciate all the bars, bombs, and jabs in these Rap battles.

Yeah, Wendy's used to have some hilarious commercials where these old ladies were getting a burger from non-Wendy's chains and it was a huge bun with a tiny burger patty. The old ladies would loudly ask, "Where's the beef?!"

Ya know, I'm amazed at the writing for these battles. They definitely do their homework. Also, I worked at both Wendy's and McDs when I was younger and Wendy's had a great salad bar concept called the Superbar. It was basically Ala Carte because you paid for the whole experience since the Superbar menu included tacos, taco fixings, and pasta along with the salads. Unfortunately that was discontinued at some point.
8:10 is a reference to the all memes when a Burger King employee uploaded a photo of his feet stepping on a bin of lettuce 😂 a UA-camr named @chills covered it in one of his videos where he says “BURGER KING FOOT LETTUCE” in his goofy ahh voice
In a real battle (yeah I know) I wouldn't be able to pick Wendy because no one rapped against her. She just came in on clean up with a free verse no one got to rebut.

I can NOT believe you pulled out the Pippi Longstocking theme. that movie was an important part of my childhood. Was not expecting to hear that today. lol
yeah, the pink slime thing was kind of a political hitjob. so, basically in the process of making food stuffs from meat, there are leftovers that don't fit into any of the other main products. what they would do was collect it all together, treat it to remove any bacteria and such to make it safe, and sell it off to be turned into other products or used as "filler". it was all perfectly safe, perfectly edible, and had the added benefit of making the products they were added too cheaper. say, instead of using all "beef", maybe make it 50/50 beef and this. (the "" quotes is because, it's still beef, its just from a different part. saying it isn't beef is like saying bacon isn't pork)
it was something used for over half a century. suddenly it became "OMG LOOK AT THIS" despite it being known about, and despite that hundred of millions had tasted products made with it for decades and loved it. they give it an unflattering name and try to get the whole industry shut down. when all it really was was not being wasteful and using ALL of it.

Almost more then 50% of the time the ice-cream/shake machine is down. I was told it was because the where cleaning. Found out from an employee that that was true. They only clean the machine once a day at about 10pm. He then told me the real reason was because no one wanted to refill the machine because of how heavy the ice cream bags are.

I too don't really recall often (or even EVER) when McDonald's had a problem with getting me an ice cream order.
I think I DO remember once when the ice cream was really bad. (more like just ice, instead of ice cream) So I guess that counts. But most of the time, it was fine.
While the majority of times I went for fast food in my life, I went to McDonalds, mostly due to convenience & being "used to" their food.
However, I think the BEST (highest quality) fast food places used to be Wendy's (where I could get a melted cheese cup to dipping my fries) & Hardees (I loved their mashed potatoes & gravy cups &their ham and cheese sandwiches were pretty good do). It seemed to me that BOTH had slightly higher quality food.

The pink slime was mostly chicken, plus a few additives to firm it up, enhance the taste, etc. It's just that it was mechanically separated leftover meat ground down into a paste. A uniform mass of necks, tails, bits of breast meat... Whatever stuck to the bones after removing the good meat from the chicken. It WAS still chicken, though. Mostly.

Correct me if im wrong, but wasn't there a thing where the company that supplied the icecream machines to Mc Donalds start loosing a bunch of money because of the bad public image that was caused by the "always broken" line that people were told, and so the guys who serviced the machines were told to install monitoring equipment with out the knowlage of Mc Donalds and then took Mc Donalds to court for damages to their business and proved with readings from the monitoring equipment that it was all lies?

I like BK's onion rings but only when they have the onion ring sauce. Otherwise, it's Whataburger's onion rings for me. BK's rings are all the same size, but Whataburger's rings are real breaded onion rings in various sizes. McDonald's fries are the same since Willard Scott, the weatherman? I worked at McDonald's in the late 80's when they changed the oil from a mix of lard and vegetable oil to 100% veg oil. McDonald's fries haven't tasted as good since. Wendy was poking fun at McDonald's 10/1 (ten to one) meat patties they use for their small burgers. 10 patties from 1 lb of meat.
