Literally watched this twice, it was amazing!! I’m 25 with no money or job, and I’ve never felt more lost or alone. Seeing videos like this really helps me though so thank you so much for sharing ❤
Taja, I’m so glad this resonated and that it has helped others. it’s always so reassuring to know that what we’re feeling is completely normal and natural, and that we aren’t alone 💛 things will work out exactly as they’re meant to, I promise xx
@@violahelen_ Thailand for a month, then Laos,Vietnam,Cambodia,Malaysia,Singapore,Indonesia, Philippines then might go Korea as more of a holiday on the way home. Could probably do with more time but with life commitment’s best to do what I can when I can. 😄
Very brave to post this admission on social media, I respect that. I am living a life akin to many of your Oxbridge peers - 25 years old and ranked highly at a multinational company, with the associated financial benefits, and have optimised my life to maximise wealth. I have enjoyed living vicariously through your Thailand vlog series and dreamt of that nomadic lifestyle, but I know that the grass is always greener on the other side. Despite having done 'well' on the surface, I have never felt less fulfilled in my life - recent breakup, loss of my best friend and general uncertainty about the future of my life fill me with anxiety day-to-day. As you say, we're all on our own journeys and we have to learn to embrace change and uncertainty - I think it's a key component of true happiness.
I feel this so much. Having episodes of severe mental illness for lots of early adulthood, COVID, being in short term or dead end jobs, left me feeling lost and stuck as my friends got in graduate jobs or started PhDs. And now I'm going back to uni to study psychology and try and help others ❤
Hi Viola, I’ve been a silent watcher of your channel since the Oxford days. Back then, I was desperately planning my application to Oxford trying to make it as perfect as I could. I applied, got rejected and ended up studying at my home country, Italy. That rejection really let me down, making me feel depressed at times and constantly disappointed at my myself. But it turns out next year I’m going to Cambridge as a visiting student for the whole academic year, and I’m planning to apply for a masters there as well. This is to say that my past self could have never imagined I’d end up studying at Cambridge after my Oxford rejection. Life isn’t easy, and as you say no one has it all figured out. Thanks for this wonderful video, and all the best for your future!
I just turned 26Y 2 months ago , and I’m going back to complete my final year of college after a long-break due to mental health issues, thank you so much this video was much needed for me

If you feel lost in life consider volunteering and helping others.
It will help you more than them
