I fish to put food on the table, eat fish 4-5 times a week since the 1980's. This Wild/Native fairy tale is a joke. Fellas at work informed me they didn't clip fin for years, so they have no clue what's native or not 👎🏼😥
Thanks for getting back to me. I just had a minor leg surgery to fix a vein and I've been itching to head out there and give it a try. I still have the next month off of work, if not more. Maybe I'll see you out there
@@SalmonSlayer253 actually taking my first trip of the Year down there tomorrow for a little test fishing there's a few fish around but mostly because it's going to be 62 degrees 😁
Yeah I've been watching the escapment counts the last few weeks. I'll probably hit up sportco in the next few days for those weights. I don't usually run as heavy as weights when I fish. Drift fishing isn't my favorite to be honest but I like the idea of not having to wade in the water
Just Google map Blue Creek trout hatchery go all the way the end down by the park by the fences and the trailheads will get you there good luck and thanks for watching 👍
Being from the Rocky Mountain Region, each fisherman usually average is 10-15 trout a day! I have been disappointed since I moved to the PNW 5 years ago. These rivers have no QUALITY resident trout population 👎🏼. No Salmon run, no fun! Getting tired of floating the weekend for 4 takedowns between 3 fisherman 👎🏼. That is an average rainbow trout in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho 🤔
There's plenty of fishing around here you just have to learn the systems this run doesn't really get started for another three weeks some of the summer run steelheading we do we have 10 to 15 fish days there's some videos on my main page of some summer run steelhead best of luck to you tight lines.
okay, that is not even close to the average-size trout in Colorado, Id, and Mt. I have fished all those states, and they are awesome. I have totally caught some monsters out there, but these are in the most pristine systems there. however, the pnw has the hardest fighting pound-for-pound trout, and the biggest (steelhead). Not to mention, lots of the trout here are native! you don't see that often. I am a big-time trout fisherman and I have 20 fish days here all the time. Just keep exploring man!
Go Niners

@@renownriverspnw5314 maybe we'll see some Seahawks down there since they have time on their hands 😂

Surprised to see only one person there and no boats going by. Water is shallow. Miss that river....
What was your friend using? I hooked on to one last weekend wit yarn and corky but it got away 🎣
I think he just had a couple corkies and a one-inch power worm I believe thanks for watching 👍
If you don’t mind me asking where is this? I’ve been trying to find a decent spot for steelhead fishing and live down in longview
