All these extra mechanics should apply to NPCs as well. Weapon jamming is all very well but unrealistic if it doesnt also apply to enemies.

Yes! The IFAK health kit. For when you really get hurt and yell 'Aye, F@ck'
The magazine 'status' about whether it's damaged or deformed is related to Anomaly's way of measuring item durability. It's more or less an artefact of that system than an intended feature, the way the mod is set up, the game is reading the magazine's capacity as 'health'.
Also, I don't think they're 'super jams', they're just a different kind of jam. Failure to feed, maybe.

I was doing super jams completely wrong by only ejecting the mag but never doing the unjam part, thank you for clearing that up!
You can also disable them if you find them annoying (the superjams I mean, not the regular ones).
@@CheekiBreekiTv yeah that's what I orginally did after doing super jams wrong for the 20th time, been playing for a few months now and learned something new despite reading the guide a while back.

Oh god, it took me like 2 full minutes to figure out its Escape from Tarkov, but in STALKER. Man this is something that I never knew I needed badly.

that ammo/reload thing was killin me it was driving me crazy to see ammo and my gun wasn’t reloading so this helped a bunch ty!!
You should check out G.A.M.M.A from Grok. I noticed cosmetic differences, like Grok use Modern UI 1.0 (which I like, but I would like PDA icons from Modern UI 2.0) and EFP use Anomaly Magazines and HD Models (which lack details although higher polygons, it would be good if old models are remoded with detailed and higher quality textures) and Hip is different, brown hair. Overall, EFP as some people are saying (I never played EFT but have seen gameplay) is trying to be similar to EFT while GAMMA seems more true to original STALKER. Anyway, I would rather play Expedition, Escape from Pripyat, G.A.M.M.A than installing by hand all known good mods for vanilla Anomaly because it's cumbersome to track down CTD and incompatibility and clashes with different mods, with aforementioned standalone mods you get everything out of the box.
Magazines is that type of mod I couldn't play Stalker Anomaly without! Even if it used to be pretty buggy haha
No HUD is peak immersion. Now I just need to survive my first interaction with the game 😂

Oh yeah its pretty amazing!
VERY badass mod, proabbly one of the best and did everything right what Misery tried to do. One major facet I love about the mod is that you can basically pick how"hard" you want it to be but the game still maintaining it's difficulity. I'm speaking about the system when picking your group you want to roll with.
Difficulty also changing how fast vendors will roll out higher tier items + prices (how expensive) + damage reduction, etc.
Misery did nail the atmosphere really well though it has my favorite look/atmosphere out of all the mods along with Autumn Aurora
Can u disable weapons jams completely? Can you change the speed somewhere in Mod Manager of loading the magazine with bullets i would like it to be a bit faster... And why doesent my keys i set on keyboard in the mod manager dont work, most of the buttons i press dont do anything even tho they are by default set up?
inventory sorting sounds awesome (if stalker 2 has no mod support its gonna be a disaster)
Especially if you're a hoarder yeah inventory sorting is AMAZING. I skipped some details, but you can also mark stuff as junk, it will autosell at the vendor etc.. etc..

Did you cap your FPS at 60fps? On your settings video you said use uncapped. 🤔
I installed EFP and inside my inventor my health system is not as big as yours. Is there a setting for this?

so if my game loads but i get this wierd stretchy baby blue screen and i can hear everything and see stalker zone text what do i do iuts a new game also have boom sticks check magazine mod and agressor reshade on

0:46 that doesn't display when pressing H, looked around everywhere and didn't find a thing about it. Any idea what could it be? all pressing "H" does is hiding the little hud of your health. Nothing else.
I've been looking through your videos for quite some time now, though I'm really a neophyte on Anomaly itself. Gave this mod a shot for the last couple of hours, and.. D A M N. It's amazing. I'm playing on the hardest difficulty for the first time, and the game becomes even more thrilling.
I do have some experience on Tarkov, so most of the features are pretty familiar to me (Fuck the magazine system, don't get me wrong, it's great but it already got me killed 3 times :D )
I do have a question regarding weapons maintenance though. I've been confused about it for as long as I played anomaly, and it looks to be even more in depth in this mod.
Let's say I dropped 2 aks, both are pretty beaten up, but on different parts. Is it worth the rubles to go to a mechanic, disassemble both, and "make my market", making a somewhat better AK out of it ? Or is it more convinient to take the (h e f t y) price the mechanic asks to fix it himself ?
Especially at a start of a playthrough, without tools, I find it extremely hard to maintain them, and really don't know if I should even bother looting the weapons I find, or rather save up roubles to buy a brand new primary.
tl;dr : Is it worth it to stash a bunch of weapons to try and make them decent, or am I wasting my time ?

And stashing bunch of weapon, well as long you had lots of weapon parts (good parts) well you pretty much fine. Just keep in mind when you selling the weapon, duty and army loves to get those Warsaw Pact weapons, while freedom and merc loves to get those NATO Weapons. Although it also depends on your reputation too.
Again, it's not good for making money early in the game.
Well, you can field strip weapons, it allows you to disassemble your weapon while keeping your weapon intact. Just drag those parts back to your original weapons if you want to re-assemble. I think that repairing on mechanic are not worth it if you already had basic tools, advance tools, and expert tools. Those three allows you to craft the repair toolbox you need. If you didn't had parts to replace, just craft like Rifle Repair Toolbox, and after that right click your weapons, and click maintain parts. That allows you to replace parts with new one without actually replace it with other parts.
This body/limb health system healing was influenced from Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. Kojima was well ahead of his time.
Stupid question ; but where and or how the flying hell do I get some NVG's? Yantar lab was a nightmare with just a flashlight lol
So efp is just a compialation of tarkov like mods, so far I added more of these separately, I do want BaS but only the animations not the new guns and tacticool attachments

For the health system it's not working when I open my inventory and when I press H it only disappears

Is bullet Penetration like in Vanilla, that 5.45x39 can't pen Cars and sheet metal or did they fix that? I know you can adjust the K_AP value in Anomaly for that which I did in 1.51 so that Assault rifles can pen Cars, Fenches, or thin Walls. Most People don't care about this, but it really bothers me, when every object is bullet proof.
Considering most areas of a car isn't bullet proof i 100% agree
That's great and all! But I still haven't figured out where the hell i can buy heals .-. For me it seems like none traders have them and i constatly die to either bleeding out or a tiny bit of radiation that i cannot heal and always have to reset the load .-. Any idea which traders have heals to sale?
I found a medic that'll heal everything at army warehouse

What do you do with all the weapons you find that are always dam near broken?? Traders won't buy them and you can't make money fixing them and selling them, so what do you do?
Dismantle them, save parts to repair weapons, sell the parts etc..

why do i feel like a emission is about to happen.
how do i open locked toolboxes ive dragged lockpikcs over the box i tried right clicking the box and the lockpick i cant figure it out
You need a lockpick tool set (that you can buy at a technician) that you actually refill with individual lockpicks, that's the item you need to drag on a lockbox (and depending on the type of box it will consume a certain amount of lockpicks in the toolset)
why did they change the health system/overlay in 3.0 this was so much better🤧

Is there any new/original mission in this mod ? Because everytime i try a new mod like this i always end up with fetch quests...
It's the same questlines as Anomaly, so there's actually a ton to do and an actual long questline to complete, all the fetch quests and such are more the factions side quests.

@@Dot-bn7jn Almost every npc can give you a quest in EFP. The random npcs you meet in the Zone will probably give you fetch quests, but the important npcs (like the traders and faction leaders) will give you more quest variety such as scouting missions, assassination missions, and so on. So make sure you talk to the important npcs.
Yeea I am playing this mod since 2 weeks, it's awesome. The only thing I want is this respawn mod. When you die, you will lose your stuff, not all your saved games.

They're completely different. Expedition if more of a graphical update, EFP is more of a gameplay update!
Why does my health menu look different from yours?
It changed with the new update, I only have the small hud on bottom screen now (when pressing H). Didint look if it was possible to get the previous big hud back tho!

Its pretty easy to install tbh, devs have done an amazing job to make it as seamless as possible to get running and it shows!

I'd love to play this mod too, if the discord server was convoluted as balls and utterly dysfunctional. Theres nowhere to download it, the verify bot auto fails, and no one answers in the help channel. Screw these people and mod.

Figured the same after a while. It's not hard killing enemies or surviving in this mod but it's way too time consuming trying to repair weapons or get from one place to another or - and arguably the worst part - managing the loot and inventory so much. In that sense I figured, personally the challenging aspects of this mod are not for me.
