@@Ya-Salo Hmm, let me guess you didn't play the original games first just like Drewski and now have an unrealistic expectation and desire for what S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 'should be like.'
Very good guide but imo you overlooked the compatibility of guns with grenade launchers: having a grenade launcher helps a ton when facing groups of enemies or strong enemies.
10 years ago while I was playing SoC for the first time, I asked myself "what's the keybind for the underbarrel GL? Hey whatever let's keep playing I'll check that later" And nothing changed ever since :D
Grenade launchers are nice definitely, but its really frustrating when you wanna switch scopes with the key and always have to go trough the animation esp on M203 versions. Have you ever thought of maybe adding an solution to that? idk if its an simple xml file change or requires more extensive modding
@@Sireristof1332 it requires engine changes. Imo I like it, if you have a GL and a gun with dual scope, it’s likely a pain to handle and manipulate IRL. Here it comes at the price of annoying sight changes 😂
Hey dear Grok! Interestingly, I can no longer create "suggestions" in Discord. That's why I'm cheekily addressing you here: Would you please be so kind and a) please adjust the lateral case ejection of the P90 again; b) adjust the weight of the MP7 and UMP ( they are unfortunately a bit too heavy in game than in reality )? But as always: a big thank you for this wonderful modpack! I have already played through one or the other pack and find the ballance in Gamma absolutely well done! While in EFP or other packs, you are overrun with high tier stalkers in the early game, which often ends up with you hoarding end game gear, in GAMMA you have a really great progression! BIG LOVE!
TOZ-34 chimera hunter is something I used for most of my early-mid game. The parts for it are the same as any TOZ-34, but with a different barrel. This "thing" can down a chimera in just 4 shots of 23x75 buckshot. The slug can kill most humanoid enemies with a single shot (they also go flying like it's an arcade shooter). And it's not really hard to get that ammo if you have gunsmithing tools and disassemble 12 gauge slugs for their parts, assembling ammo for the chimera hunter that way.
Your videos encouraged me to download GAMMA and play it, even though i've never played a stalker game. Its super fun, and I even bought the trilogy so I can get prepped for stalker 2. So thanks for all your hard work and keep it up!
@@gustavolemos5913 I'm doing the same right now, patching GAMMA up. Played only like 30 minutes of Anomaly because it said it's recommended to people who played Anomaly before and I'm obviously an expert after these 30 minutes. It will be a fun experience for sure.
One note, the Swamp Thing uses an 1-4x Elcan Specter for its magnified optic, so it's actually got a little bit more flexibility than the Shakal that uses a fixed 3.4x ACOG. There's also the AK-105 "Specialist", it's Mercenary variant, and while it lacks some of the raw stats of it's other -105 brethren, it makes up for it in durability and flexibility: it utilizes a wider FOV 45 -degree red-dot that is easier and faster to use in CQB, still uses standard suppressors (rather than the rarer HEX), and leaves the side-rail scope mount empty allowing you to choose whichever of the warsaw-pact side mount scopes you'd like to use. I personally enjoyed pairing it with a suppressor and a PSO-1. The 105 definitely feels like the best mid-game rifle hands-down and the kits you can bolt to it gives it so much flexibility. Also you just blew my mind with the suggestion to give my companion a PKM. BRB, lol.
I always roll with a shotgun in one of my slots, just because I love shotguns in any game. I especially like pump shotguns if I have the option to use them. The sound of firing and then the pumping is like my own personal soundtrack.
The AN-94 is one of the Best guns, i have to say mainly because it has this 2 Round Burst which fires them almost instantaneously. So you can switch between Assault Rifle and practically a DMR in a Instant. Use Semi for picking off Weak mutants afar, Automatic in CQB and 2x Burst for Stronger Mustants and Stalkers.. i love Wood Furnished Guns especially the Warsaw pact ones but i have to admit that the AN-94 is way to good.
I always looked for weapons who can have options for silencer, grenade launcher and scopes. My favourites are AEK971, G36K and SCAR FN H. Also for visiting undergrounds such as Labs, almost always a shotgun with clips, such as SAIGA "Merc".
Exactly what the people wanted and needed. Excellent video with well reasoned points. Could you make a video deep diving the loot and your priority for picking things up, you can also add small tips like the things vodka can be used for
it may not be that good, but i love the SR2M. 9x21 is a pretty powerful round mid to lategame imo and i love the look and fact you can use it in the pistol slot. also the ammo is easily craftable from all the 9x19 and 9x18 crap you get :D
Two days ago I started a new run with my most beloved faction: mercenaries. I almost always play on medium to hard difficulty and scavenger progression with no mods except for ArtiGrok Ballistics ( I love the extra choice of ammo! Especially when I'm a shotgunner with Dreagons Breath). Clothes on, gas mask on and backpack on to sweep the first mutants off the map "Dead City" with the 1911. Hark! A fight! So let's go to the source of the noise! To my surprise, mercenaries and monoliths were fighting here and all dead. ( Pretty rare encounter, for sure! ) That must have been the last grenade that was heard. So I checked the loot and found: a SIG556 "Arrow", a L86 Modern with laser, a "Frasier" and some AK. The L86 was in really good condition and I was able to take the missing parts from the Arrow. Starter loadout de lux! I love the UMP, but for me it drops so rarely and so late in the run that it is already obsolete. I'm more likely to get the "Frasier" than the UMP, in every run! But when it does drop, I still use it and, thanks to ArtiGrok Ballistics, craft myself the +P+ ACP, which in turn makes the UMP useful against mid tier stalkers and incredibly great against mutants thanks to Hydra Shock and RIP. Note on the side: unfortunately, the UMP and the MP7 are too heavy in GAMMA than in reality. This makes it quite difficult to create a really light loadout with a lot of firepower. Especially at the beginning, when you can't carry that much.
Great video, love the presentation style - though I think it's worth mentioning the AN-94 as a contender for best in category as its 2 round burst mode can enable you to kill nearly any stalker with one click when using AP because of how it doesn't recoil
Big same, love me a good '94, it's borderline broken (but not quite so plz no nerf). Essentially consider it double damage, and if you enable magazines in ModOrganizer (remember to disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key), then you still get 30 trigger pulls on the two round burst. If you could convert it to take 5.56 ass well, then I'd have one in each and alternate, using one for one type of ammo while I accumulate the other ammo (for right now I us the sig 550 custom smothered in all the attachments, even if it recoils like a mule)
SR-25 has always been my pick in stock Anomaly due to extreme usefulness of the scope paired with grenade launcher. In crazy RedForest fights where enemies literally pop up from behind it's no brainer to stop sniping and simply blast the unexpected attackers (f.u., Sin) with underbarrel launcher in one area shot.
This'll sound weird, but the most reliable, deadliest, affordable and overall most fun to use weapon I've used so far in GAMMA has been the PP19 Vityaz. I've cleared out Dark Valley and taken on 3 Bandit EXO's at once with it, and it has taken me through thick and thin! *Edit Should probably also say it is cheap to repair when compared to most other weapons, ammo for it is plentiful at Traders, 15 HP rounds go for around 500 rubles, while 15 AP go for around 1.5-2K Rubles. They pack a punch and WILL take down anyone with a well placed headshot or two, EXO suits will take a few extra rounds, but the recoil on it is negligible, especially when upgraded. *Second Edit, as I'm remembering things to put down I haven't been playing too long currently, and haven't had much luck finding guns to progress to, but the PP19 has been with me since the start (Picked it with my points, Loner start).
Just downloaded this for the 3rd time and finally got it right. im nothing of a computer guy i really dont know anything but thank you cheeki for showing me this game. i finally got it downloaded and im absolutely loving it❤️✌️☮️ Peace and love to you all
Great video as always :) What you could have done differently is maybe also seperate the guns by the needed tools to repair. You did this for the basic tools but mixed it for advanced and expert tools. Of course, if you get lucky you can find an expert gun with a good barrel and repair it fully without the needed tools but it would be interesting to see what guns for each category are the best for basic-, advanced- and expert tools respectively. Altough, with the upcoming 0.9.1 GAMMA update the whole repairing system will change dramatically so maybe it is irrelevant at that point. Maybe you could do a similar video for armor, also divived by light, medium and heavy (so divided by needed toolkit). Another video suggestion would be a crafting guide for artefacts and a "best artefact" video. There really isnt a lot if information for artefact crafting out there. Keep the great content up :)
im glad the FAL made it on the list. It makes storming the CNPP basicly on easy mode. Head tapping monolith with AP is so much fun, with the added benefit of ripping it on full auto.
The RPK 16 is underrated. It carried me for so long. 60 round mag, silencer, forgrip, decent scopes, for late early/mid it shreds. Only thing is it’s 5.45. M4 Tactical is the slightly older brother and that’s what I’m currently using with a KRISS Vector. I’ve got like a dozen guns I wanna fix up and use, but I still can’t find expert tools and Ive got like 150 hours in this playthrough. I know, horrible luck
I love the Dhampyr Deagle, I carry two of them actually, one with the c-more scope for short range situations and the other with acog for mid range, and a sa58 osw if things get too hot, but I try to use the deagles most of the time, even against Monolith dudes with lighter armor
The VSS merc is up there for the best guns personally, carried it to the end of the game. The ammo is on the upper end of the low-recoil types like 5.xx when it comes to AP and the laser sight means you can aim without the ironsights taking up the lower half of the screen, so you can reliably shoot bursts accurately at range since for a lot of guns the shooting animation has the ironsight block the target after shots. Go up a notch to 7.xx calibers and it'll have too much recoil to be accurate at anything but tapping at range, and go down to 5.xx and unless you invest a lot in AP you'll have to constantly magdump to be able to take down things like monolith, sin, and unisg. It's an extremely good all-rounder that doesn't disappoint which lets you keep the second slot for things like a shotgun vs mutants or heavy-hitters for exoskeletons and nosorogs.
SR-25 definitely something I expected. While it didn't focused on pistols, early FNX find was always a treat. SKS and MP-153 as mentioned. I thkink AK-74U Tactical deserves an honorable mention - as a very good early find.
I play anomaly vanilla and have guns galore! Most of the time when I repair a weapon its just for the fun of it. I'm trying to finish the game first before trying gamma for the first time. (Your vids inspire me a lot man!)
you wont regret it :) i came over from anomaly myself a few months ago, was too scared of GAMMA for a long while to test it. now i cant imagine ever going back...
5.45x39 AKs are probably the best all-around weapons especially in the southern maps (If you play Loner, Clear Sky, Duty etc.). The ammo is so common and even if you have to face stronger targets, the AP ammo can easily mow down level 4 armor and is so cheap. The fact that you can also attach a under-barrel grenade launcher in most of them, makes them so versatile. The grenade launchers are a life saver against pseudo-giants and large monolith groups (especially when playing with high population factors). 7.62 rifles are also nice in some situations (sniping etc.) but I never go primary 7.62 because the ammo always runs out before I can restock. As you noted, 5.45x39 might not always be viable option if you play as freedom or merc, since the traders usually don't have 5.45x39.
oh hell yeah, the thing is a literal bullet hose and you can find it at the start of the game. its like the bizon smg in pistol form (or more like, the APS pistol that doesn't suck) the only thing to wish on it is an even bigger magazine
Because of the way I use to play this game (talking about my approach to gunfights), I give more value to the weapon accuracy stat. I like to pop heads out one by one, without rushing. So, my "minimum requeriment" in terms of ACC is above 85% (with all upgrades installed, of course). Also, because of this, its important the gun supports, at least, 4x scopes. The next aspect I look into is how cheap/easy is the weapon to maintain, because feeling like you are shooting gold nuggets each time you pull the trigger isn't fun. Taking these aspects into consideration, the 5.56 guns are the best options. Ammo is cheap to buy and easy to find/craft, they support a wide range of scopes, their ACC is usually way higher than the 5.45 guns and it's AP variant is enough to one shot anything up to the EXO HELMET. At last, but not least, I like to have, at my disposal, a grenade launcher with a working aiming sight, no matter which attachment you equip on the gun (if you use GL in this game, you know what I'm talking about). Sadly, there are almost no guns in this game that fills all these these requirements. I used to run with the L85A2 Tactical, which filled everything, but since it was removed from the game (which I found a ridiculously dumb decision, considering the insane ammount of SG550, G36 and AK variants the game still has, removing the L85A2 Tactical because of redundancy was bullshit), I became kinda lost. Recently, I got my hands on a FN2000, which seems very close to the L85A2 in terms of these requeriments of mine but it doesn't look as cool as the L85A2 Tactical.
I really think you slept on the KS-23. It had 2 round options, a buckshot and a dart. The buckshot absolutely shreds anything wearing up good light armor. The dart rounds hit like trucks and punch through a ton of armor, too.
I found an ISG ak with a good barrel soon after I found my first set of basic tools, and that essentially set up for almost the rest of the game. That AK has a higher damage according to the gun stats as well.
For immersion purposes, I started my bandit run with the toz-106 and upgraded to the 34 after a while (It really was an upgrade..) Then I got a TOZ-194 pump action, which is surprisingly fun to use! 8D It's very fast and I actually like having a few microseconds to adjust my aim between shots. Feels a bit like the trench gun from CoD WaW. But I guess I'll have to upgrade to something more spray'n'pray pretty soon, I didn't venture beyond the army wh yet...
For me, my go to gun for the Mid and even Late game, was the AK-104 Alpha. Or heck, even early game? Just a standard iron sights AKM. Flicking the weapon to Single Fire and being able to rapid a few shots into enemies, made quick work of them and saved my hide so many times. Even for a 5.56, the L85A2 wasn't too bad either, especially the one where you can attach your own scope. On full auto? Not exactly a showstopper. But being able to use single shots, and with the right scope attached, you could pop some heads real quick from a good distance without needing a full on sniper rifle.
my philosophy for long range weapons is to get an extremely accurate 5.56 weapon with the highest muzzle velocity, use AP ammo, put it on semi auto and just click heads. I find large caliber weapons cumbersome and too expensive to run. Usually I use the L86 tactical (highest velocity once upgraded) or the SIG tactical (highest accuracy once upgraded) These allow me to mount a grenade launcher which is extremely useful to ambush a group of high rang stalkers or deal with giants and chimeras as for a secondary, I usually go for the SR-2 SMG for its decent damage and great AP capabilities, or any 9x19 SMG upgraded into a bullet hose for their flexibility and low cost to run
If you think a weapon should have made the list let me know here which one and most importantly why you think so! Next video will be on how to increase your chances of finding these guns, so if I missed something really obvious I'll include everything in it! Cheers ❤
Having played Stalker variants for 15 years now, having some different guns to use is usually my goal. I try really hard not to use the Spas-12 for example, or the AN94. I usually end up with sub-optimal guns but then I often find it makes almost no difference.
Honestly, I think the vanilla SKS is slept on for a baby's first marksman rifle. It's common, easy to maintain, you can get a scope for it in the starter area for under 5000 RU, 7.62x34 is cheap, plentiful, great at long range against bandits and low level stalkers and still very decent at mid range against higher tier stalkers. If you want a long range option for the first areas of the game, I don't think you can get much better than it. The other option would be the mosin, which pretty much worse in every regard except ammo selection, since 7.62x54R is pretty good and can also be used on the SVD and SVU once you're done with the mosin, but is also more expensive and rarer than 7.62x34 in the early game
i also have a chimera hunter that i always give to companions so that they have unlimited ammo for it. my little buddy cleared out the swamp military base solo with that thing
The first time I played STALKER ANOMALY vanilla (not the GAMMA version. that mod doest exist back then) Mosberg shotgun was my main weapon and the SVD as the 2nd, for long range back then. Pretty much carry me until the mid-game and early-end game. Still using pump action shotguns because I like the sound of that gun in GAMMA.
i think that 9x18 pistols are great for early-mid game im talking about APS or Pernach. They just deal damage and make it possible to use a detector or something else with it
Dude i love auto-pistols, but the APS is SO trash when compared to Pernach, the worst recoil out of all things in the entire game is already makes me never want to use it. Pernach on the other hand - literally belt-fed full-auto glock, with no recoil, for some reason lol. and surprisinly easy to find
its tough in gamma cause there are so many guns that i want to try (and have in my stash) but its hard to invest the resources to 1. get them in proper condition 2. ammo availability. so u wind up sticking with whatever you got until u get what seems to be a big upgrade.. and since basically every gun jams after 0-5 bullets its also hard to get a proper feel for them as well... so u might run into a gun you would love.. but since u can't get a feel for it u just stash it and kinda forget about it. my weapon progression was sks on loadout which i used till brain scorcher.. then SCAR 2 tapped everything but ammo was rough.. and now im using ar-15 where ammo is VERY plentiful (you can buy 120 stacks from most traders) so its the first gun i could spray when needed and even the fmj ammo is usually good enough.. and the ap/hp ammo are easy enough to have on hand.. a .45 handgun can last u seemingly the entire game since hydroshock is maybe the most cost efficient mutant slayer ammo in the game .. not to mention the .45 usp match is the best looking handgun imo. shotguns i found were easier to repair since they use alot of the same parts.. so going from m37>caribinier>raptor was seemless all used the same ammo and the raptor along with the saiga is great not just for mutants but also extended firefights since u reload quickly. tbf i didn't use the saiga much since i got the raptor on the same excursion
I found a ks-23, repaired it, and haven't looked back. The way that thing drops mutants, chimeras in 2 or 3 shots, 1 if you land that panic headshot mid-lunge. Slow and small mag, but the way that thing launches bandits 😂
Ash 12 is just straight up better IMO, the Vykhlop just doesn't have the rate of fire needed to take down a squad before they reach cover when sniping nor does it have the versatility to be used in CQB
One weapon I take early on if I can is the M4A1 as you can add good sights and the grenade launcher underneath as well which makes it a great mid range cqb weapon especially if you are using the Mag Redux and add 60 round magazines to it... especially useful if playing Freedom or Merc...
The sks tactical is actually a GOD weapon, because of high rate of fire, very decent ammo and it doesnt need expert tools to upgrade via the technician like the old shotguns (unless they changed it) And one of those upgrades is allowing it to fire 7.62x54, basically the best ammo in the game and iirc it retains the rof of 700rpm Another favorite of mine is the Toz 106 with 4 rounds, it also can be upgraded to shoot 12 gauge slugs without expert tools for cheap and in gamma with zoom is basically a makeshift sniper against bandits
Think you left out early game Snipers (E.g., Kar98 is a beast early), but otherwise a fantastic video that really helped solidify the choices I was making, so thank you!
I run the AR-15 Hera and RAPTR combo and it's godlike. RAPTR for anything close-range and the AR-15 with the 5.56 AP/HP for medium/long-range combat makes you practically invincible.
I tend to stick with anything 5.45 coz I love the scopes on rifles using these. Reasonably affordable ammo and maintenance too. That being said, I love the Ak105 to bits! Anything SPAS for shotguns and hell yeah on the MP7 with 9x18!
For 5.45 the AN-94 should be mentioned. A 2-round burst of AP to the head will delete any stalker at that point in the game (and many beyond) and magdumping cheap rounds will work fine against most mutants if you don't have a better weapon for whatever reason. Plenty of chances to find it and the parts laying around and good attachment options. Please respect my raifu.
I respect your opinion as these AR weapons you picked have slightly better stats, However they cannot have a Grenade Launcher which multiplies your firepower. You can wreck entire squads quickly once mag is empty with GL(much faster than regular grenades, instant kaboom and can be used even at longer range or score direct hits on high tier mutants). My favourite AR in 5.45x39 is AN-94 with GL due to 1800 RPM 2 shots mode which makes 5.45mm headshots much more lethal (AK12 Monolith 2.0 is weaker per trigger pull, but has 60 rounds which is better for CQB, though AEK971 is also up there in CQB due to insane rate of fire with very low recoil in full auto and GL). For 5.56mm, G36L(Nimble upgrade) and AK101/M4A1 with GL are decent picks though L85A2 tactical can have GL and has a laser on top. My favourite AR is AK103 with GL (7.62x39mm AP rounds are really amazing) as secondary with Kobra ( I use Dragunov SVD as primary). RD 9x39 is also top tier IMO because it can have a GL. Finally, if you do not value GL, there is a weapon called IWI ACE 52 which is an AR that can be rechambered in 7.62x54mm ( absolutely devastating AP rounds BR6 80+ dmg, far superior to Nato 7.62x51mm) firing full automatic mode.. This AR is truly amazing when rechambered, at least as good as 12.7mm IMO because as efficient, ammo is lighter (can carry more) and is cheaper/easier to craft. RD74 can be rechambered 5.56mm. I never use SA-58 OSW because the stats are fantasy. The normal heavier SA-58 upgraded to Marauder has a much longer barrel and should be far more accurate at range with less recoil, yet the lighter OSW with shorter barrel is more accurate with less recoil which does not make any sense. Merci bcp pour tes videos, j'ai adore le run iron man ;)
My loadout is SR-2M Veresk sub machinegun DVL-10 Urbana sniper rifle SIG SG550 Arrow assault rifle Usp Match Tatical pretty much and honestly they serve me well in the zone
There is a RD 9x39 that comes with a grenade launcher that uses VOG-30's I found it in a stash and it was just incredible. It was a special variant of the gun and I am guessing hella rare since you didn't bring it up.
START: Any 12x76 shotgun (and 9x19 pistol). EALY GAME: 12x76 shotgun with decent mag size (8+) (historic kit) and 9x19 smg with acog (handgun kit) MID GAME: Replace 9x19 with 5.56/5.45 rifle with acog (army kit). Preferably with laser and the ability to aim toggle by pressing V. LATE GAME: Alternative replacement for shotgun with .45ACP hydrashock smg (handgun kit) and add a 7.62x54 or 7.62x51 or .338 sniper (advanced kit). Again aim toggle with V is preferred. This is what I usually run as the main kit, if I start in the south. I feel like the specific weapon doesn't really matter that much, as long as it uses a good and available ammo type and has your preferred attachments.
9x19 ACOG SMGS: pp19-vityaz-sn steyr aug a3 9mm EARLY - MID GAME SHOTGUNS: Remington 870 (can have red dot) Mossberg590A1 (good iron sights) 5.56 LASER + PRESS V + ACOG: Steyr AUG A3 Commando AK 5C ISG L85A2 Tactical 5.45 LASER + PRESS V + ACOG: RD-74U Tactic AKS-74U Tactical LATE GAME SHOTGUNS: RAPTR Saiga-12 ISG HYDRASHOCK SMGS: KRISS Vector UMP 45 MP5A3 "Fraiser" SNIPERS: SVDS PMC (can press V) Remington 700 Modular Rifle System (can press V) SVDS DVL-10 Saboteur Obviously I've missed a lot of weapons. Also worth mentioning that you can put an upgrade kit on a lot of the 7.62x39 rifles for scope/acog + red dot by pressing V.
I usually play as Freedom so 5.56 is the most accessible, usually after getting some roubles, I go for a G36C and try to get an optic, but I also like to carry an shotgun against bloodsuckers and snorks.
A mid game monster if you are nato faction is the m700,it uses only advanced tools, the only 7.62 by 51 to do so and the ap rounds can one tap the head of anything you find.
Me personally, I still prefer the good ol' vanilla AEK-971 for 5.45x39. Just because of it's high accuracy rating and underbarrel GL. Noob tubing the chimeras and pseudogiants will save a lot of ammo.
Supprised there is not mentioned Abakan (very good multifunctional rifle with scope, granade launcher and most importantly the precise 2-round burst fire mode which can well compensate for the less penetrating 5.45 rounds, very effective especially with AP rounds) and KS-23 shotgun made from anti-artilery barrel which can one shot a Burer and almost every NPC without exosuit.
For strongest anti mutant gun you can find reliably I'd nominate the M1928 Thompson (the pre WW2 variant, not the one you can spawn with) It can be found on bandits, repaired with the handgun repair kit, loads .45 Hydra Shock and gets a drum mag by default. Sight picture is quite tolerable for a US made gun (seriously, what is it with american guns and covering half the screen in protector wings???) I once heard a bloodsucker running towards me, fired a short burst into that general direction, found 2 bloodsucker corpses right next to each other. The DPS on this thing is insane
GAMMA still has the beautiful M249. 5.56 round with a 100 box magazine, and can fit either a red dot for CQB (haha) or an ACOG for medium to long range engagements Bit heavy, but if you're rocking an Exosuit or Exoskeleton by that point, dont pass up this Mini beauty
I've been treating this like most other ARPGs, I've got a storages starting to get full with armor and Guns, No idea what is good or bad per say. But I do find the PP-19 Bizon doing work for me.
Man if I wasn’t no lifing Baldur’s gate 3 I’d be playing more Gamma recently unfortunately I only have so much time thank you for the video nonetheless
I think that any 23mm shotgun is great allrounder, and AP round on those kill exos no issue. 4 round mag can be a problem if you are bad shot. For early 5.45 you can get lucky with 74U tactical and for 5.56 I wouldn't skimp on Aug A3.
I had real pain with the hidden stats in gamma. I wanted to transition to 7.62 NATO and I didn't like the scar, the FAL can't get optics without upgrades. I landed on the sa-58 it as it was the best looking. Get this, the standard sa -58( the long barrel) has absolutely terrible recoil but the short barrel one has identical stats on paper but it has way,way better recoil,a weapon that you can actually use.
So guys, what is your weaponfu? mine is def the RD 9x39, laser, granade launcher, good scopes, relatively common from monolith/UNISG and parts everywhere due to as vals everywhere.
I could make many of my weapons on my Duty playthrough so great! Unfortunately, I cannot find gunsmithing tools. Loner playthrough? I have about six sets. I just want to make ammo.
Shotgun is the ultimate multitool Buckshots blasts mutants and leather jacketeers to high heavens Slugshot hits medium armoured stalker like train AP slug drills a fist sized hole in your exoskeleton
i found an AK ALFA with a good barrel before even having advanced tools. makes long range a breeze with the march scope but i have no way of buying AP rounds
my fav weapon is the vodka
Holy shit, boris is here
The Slav King graces us w/ his prescence! I've been watching since 2016, privet from the U.S.A.!
Ayy, boris!
vodka ain't that effective without the cheburek blyat
IT’S THE SLAV KING!!!
The toz-34 is the endgame weapon for me 100%

Aye Nade luncher attachments on weapons is awesome. Particulary with Chimeras, Pseudogiants, Sin and Chernobyl NPP corridors .
Hey dear Grok!
Interestingly, I can no longer create "suggestions" in Discord. That's why I'm cheekily addressing you here:
Would you please be so kind and a) please adjust the lateral case ejection of the P90 again; b) adjust the weight of the MP7 and UMP ( they are unfortunately a bit too heavy in game than in reality )?
Glad you like the originals too. It really is like having 4+ different games

Why not doing It already 😅
@@gustavolemos5913 I'm doing the same right now, patching GAMMA up. Played only like 30 minutes of Anomaly because it said it's recommended to people who played Anomaly before and I'm obviously an expert after these 30 minutes.
It will be a fun experience for sure.
@@gustavolemos5913I’m willing to do that because I hate my sanity
BRB, lol.
So many guns are better than the AK105 though, even just the AK 12 monolith is better
9x21 is a pretty powerful round mid to lategame imo and i love the look and fact you can use it in the pistol slot. also the ammo is easily craftable from all the 9x19 and 9x18 crap you get :D
it fits your pistol slot thats what makes it an monolithshredder of choice for my ecologist that cant keep its hands off the veles 🤣
Yep, late game I switch between that and Mp-7.
It is a really good smg... though I do wish that we had a proper Uzi in the game as they would be everywhere like the cheap mans AK-47...
SIG 550 for life >:)@@NiteReepa
*Edit
Should probably also say it is cheap to repair when compared to most other weapons, ammo for it is plentiful at Traders, 15 HP rounds go for around 500 rubles, while 15 AP go for around 1.5-2K Rubles. They pack a punch and WILL take down anyone with a well placed headshot or two, EXO suits will take a few extra rounds, but the recoil on it is negligible, especially when upgraded.
*Second Edit, as I'm remembering things to put down
I haven't been playing too long currently, and haven't had much luck finding guns to progress to, but the PP19 has been with me since the start (Picked it with my points, Loner start).
You're probably playing on the easier difficulties
This list changes so much when you run the magazine addon.
The short as-58 is my favourite to,but the long barrel has unusable recoil in cqb.
I'm not sure but i think you can find them on The big tower in Rostok
Shout out the gold desert eagle
SR-25 definitely something I expected. While it didn't focused on pistols, early FNX find was always a treat. SKS and MP-153 as mentioned. I thkink AK-74U Tactical deserves an honorable mention - as a very good early find.
the amount of effort u put into this vid is insane much love man
I play anomaly vanilla and have guns galore!
Nice music choice. Gives off "far beyond this world/otherworldly" vibes.
I've been watching you for ages and I JUST realized I wasn't subscribed. Fixed that. Love your vids, keep it up!

your content is just great man! keep it up!
I always choose my guns more randomly just to have some more fun. Im more interested in armor stats than gun stats when I play.
And montage in this video looks like nice. I think it tooks lots of time to deal with it.
Oh you don't even know how long it took to put all this together ahahh, thanks for noticing :)
The Ots-33 Pernach shreds pretty well it can also be chambered in 9x19 if you want as well. Its a pretty common drop from most bandits.
oh hell yeah, the thing is a literal bullet hose and you can find it at the start of the game.
its like the bizon smg in pistol form (or more like, the APS pistol that doesn't suck)
the only thing to wish on it is an even bigger magazine
Great video, even on rissian language i can't find another one that give so much information in so little time. Like!
AR-15 Hera and M4A1 Butcher carried my games. Drums mags are my fav. !
I found an ISG ak with a good barrel soon after I found my first set of basic tools, and that essentially set up for almost the rest of the game. That AK has a higher damage according to the gun stats as well.
For immersion purposes, I started my bandit run with the toz-106 and upgraded to the 34 after a while (It really was an upgrade..)
Then I got a TOZ-194 pump action, which is surprisingly fun to use! 8D
It's very fast and I actually like having a few microseconds to adjust my aim between shots.
Usually I use the L86 tactical (highest velocity once upgraded) or the SIG tactical (highest accuracy once upgraded)
These allow me to mount a grenade launcher which is extremely useful to ambush a group of high rang stalkers or deal with giants and chimeras
as for a secondary, I usually go for the SR-2 SMG for its decent damage and great AP capabilities, or any 9x19 SMG upgraded into a bullet hose for their flexibility and low cost to run
If you think a weapon should have made the list let me know here which one and most importantly why you think so!
Next video will be on how to increase your chances of finding these guns, so if I missed something really obvious I'll include everything in it! Cheers ❤
i know its not the point of the video, but in the smg offhand mod you can edit in the weapons you would like to use in the 3rd / 4th slot.
Is the OTs-03 SVU not in the game these days, I remember it being light and found early in a couple of my playthroughs.
@@BlurredVision18 I found one yesterday on a merc
@@BlurredVision18 you can find it early yes, but it's also inaccurate to a point where you miss heads
Does Gamma have SR-25 from ISG? That is a rifle of choice (explained in other comment) 🕊
Having played Stalker variants for 15 years now, having some different guns to use is usually my goal. I try really hard not to use the Spas-12 for example, or the AN94. I usually end up with sub-optimal guns but then I often find it makes almost no difference.
The best weapon in gamma is the one you find and have parts and ammo for.
J'adore tes videos Cheeki ! Merci pr ton contenu. Cocoricooo
Nice graphics and camera work bro
i also have a chimera hunter that i always give to companions so that they have unlimited ammo for it. my little buddy cleared out the swamp military base solo with that thing
The first time I played STALKER ANOMALY vanilla (not the GAMMA version. that mod doest exist back then)
Mosberg shotgun was my main weapon and the SVD as the 2nd, for long range back then.
Pretty much carry me until the mid-game and early-end game.
Still using pump action shotguns because I like the sound of that gun in GAMMA.
SA-58 + SVU combo carried me all the way trough Mortal Sin, and even Op. Afterglow
i think that 9x18 pistols are great for early-mid game im talking about APS or Pernach.
My personal favorite weapon is the SR2M. the rounds are pretty good for anything and not too hard to get, plus the gun just looks amazing 👍
if the UZI was AK
A great overview. I'm a big fan of the Ash-12. I use this plus the VSS Vykhlop for sniping. Handy as they use the same 12.7 x 55 ammo.
Great video, thanks for all you do and make
The sks tactical is actually a GOD weapon, because of high rate of fire, very decent ammo and it doesnt need expert tools to upgrade via the technician like the old shotguns (unless they changed it)
And one of those upgrades is allowing it to fire 7.62x54, basically the best ammo in the game and iirc it retains the rof of 700rpm
Another favorite of mine is the Toz 106 with 4 rounds, it also can be upgraded to shoot 12 gauge slugs without expert tools for cheap and in gamma with zoom is basically a makeshift sniper against bandits
Seeing those two chimeras charging at you made me almost piss my pants even though i'm not the one playing it.
Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekiii. sorry i'm late. The effort on the editing man, so good so nice. I love it
I like really big guns, with really big mags, found a PKP last night with a pristine barrel, now to find a couple thousand rounds to make it usable
Think you left out early game Snipers (E.g., Kar98 is a beast early), but otherwise a fantastic video that really helped solidify the choices I was making, so thank you!
I run the AR-15 Hera and RAPTR combo and it's godlike. RAPTR for anything close-range and the AR-15 with the 5.56 AP/HP for medium/long-range combat makes you practically invincible.
fr bro ar-15 hera is the best gun next to the vss merc imo
Saiga 12 + Ak "Specialist" + Colt 1911
Merc exosuit +Apocalypse helm + Kukri
My setup works Just fine i am Happy with that😊
ACE 52 is an amazing option, especially when rechambered in 7,62x54
Putting a PU scope on that SKS you just fixed will skyrocket its usefulness
My last play through I used the AK alfa. Very nice gun.
I tend to stick with anything 5.45 coz I love the scopes on rifles using these. Reasonably affordable ammo and maintenance too. That being said, I love the Ak105 to bits! Anything SPAS for shotguns and hell yeah on the MP7 with 9x18!
If you wanna take a ToZ all the way to Generators, kill Bandits and Renegades till’ they drop the one that uses the same shells as the KS23 :>
Merci bcp pour tes videos, j'ai adore le run iron man ;)
My loadout is

There is a RD 9x39 that comes with a grenade launcher that uses VOG-30's I found it in a stash and it was just incredible. It was a special variant of the gun and I am guessing hella rare since you didn't bring it up.
In the meantime me playing 20hours with starter toz-34 ;D
This is the way
START: Any 12x76 shotgun (and 9x19 pistol).
EALY GAME: 12x76 shotgun with decent mag size (8+) (historic kit) and 9x19 smg with acog (handgun kit)
MID GAME: Replace 9x19 with 5.56/5.45 rifle with acog (army kit).
9x19 ACOG SMGS:
pp19-vityaz-sn
steyr aug a3 9mm
EARLY - MID GAME SHOTGUNS:
Remington 870 (can have red dot)
Mossberg590A1 (good iron sights)
5.56 LASER + PRESS V + ACOG:
Steyr AUG A3 Commando
AK 5C ISG
L85A2 Tactical
5.45 LASER + PRESS V + ACOG:
RD-74U Tactic
AKS-74U Tactical
LATE GAME SHOTGUNS:

Saiga-12 ISG
HYDRASHOCK SMGS:

UMP 45
MP5A3 "Fraiser"
SNIPERS:
SVDS PMC (can press V)
Remington 700 Modular Rifle System (can press V)
SVDS
DVL-10 Saboteur
Obviously I've missed a lot of weapons.

SV-98 as WP counterpart. Lategame x54 towers over x51 which goes to more of a "heavy assault rifle" niche.

For strongest anti mutant gun you can find reliably I'd nominate the M1928 Thompson (the pre WW2 variant, not the one you can spawn with)
It can be found on bandits, repaired with the handgun repair kit, loads .45 Hydra Shock and gets a drum mag by default. Sight picture is quite tolerable for a US made gun (seriously, what is it with american guns and covering half the screen in protector wings???)
I once heard a bloodsucker running towards me, fired a short burst into that general direction, found 2 bloodsucker corpses right next to each other. The DPS on this thing is insane
GAMMA still has the beautiful M249.
5.56 round with a 100 box magazine, and can fit either a red dot for CQB (haha) or an ACOG for medium to long range engagements
Bit heavy, but if you're rocking an Exosuit or Exoskeleton by that point, dont pass up this Mini beauty
I've been treating this like most other ARPGs, I've got a storages starting to get full with armor and Guns, No idea what is good or bad per say. But I do find the PP-19 Bizon doing work for me.
L85 A2 tactical is also a good short-mid range automatic rifle for 5.56
love your content keep it up lad
Man if I wasn’t no lifing Baldur’s gate 3 I’d be playing more Gamma recently unfortunately I only have so much time thank you for the video nonetheless
I think that any 23mm shotgun is great allrounder, and AP round on those kill exos no issue. 4 round mag can be a problem if you are bad shot. For early 5.45 you can get lucky with 74U tactical and for 5.56 I wouldn't skimp on Aug A3.
5:33 the other mp5 that you can put a silence is the better one since for whatever reason attaching a silencer increases the damage.
Silencer = longer barrel = higher velocity maybe? The SSD has inbuilt silencer and that maybe comes with a shorter barrel?
I had real pain with the hidden stats in gamma. I wanted to transition to 7.62 NATO and I didn't like the scar, the FAL can't get optics without upgrades. I landed on the sa-58 it as it was the best looking. Get this, the standard sa -58( the long barrel) has absolutely terrible recoil but the short barrel one has identical stats on paper but it has way,way better recoil,a weapon that you can actually use.
I prefer AK-12 Monolith over Shakal/Swamp Thing due to that 60 mag size. Not sure what is the advantage of Shakal over Monolith AK version.
When talking about shotguns, what do you think about the KS-23? I recently found it (V0.91) and realized, it does really good damage.
So guys, what is your weaponfu? mine is def the RD 9x39, laser, granade launcher, good scopes, relatively common from monolith/UNISG and parts everywhere due to as vals everywhere.
Gauss, Vychlop, VSS Merc, Saiga RAPTR, TOZ-34 Chimera Hunter.
SIG SG 550❤
I could make many of my weapons on my Duty playthrough so great! Unfortunately, I cannot find gunsmithing tools. Loner playthrough? I have about six sets. I just want to make ammo.
SVDS, Scar-H and KS-23 are my choice =)
Shotgun is the ultimate multitool
Buckshots blasts mutants and leather jacketeers to high heavens
Slugshot hits medium armoured stalker like train
AP slug drills a fist sized hole in your exoskeleton
i found an AK ALFA with a good barrel before even having advanced tools. makes long range a breeze with the march scope but i have no way of buying AP rounds
I'm new in this community and i love it but the game is hard at first.. i just have to learn so much
