392 is the sweet spot, plenty of street able power, and still competitive on the street and the dragstrip. The HP 70 ZF 8 speed is my choice, though the manuals are super fun.
The stock exhaust on these new ones sound great and the 392 is damn near as loud as the aftermarket pipes on my 6.1 chally and rock. Don't know what they've done but the older Mopars are really quiet and much too mellow for what a hemi should sound like, so it's awesome to see that they made the change. I went with SLP loudmouths which consists of 2 open chamber racing bullets and reso delete with 3" pipe going straight out the back and isn't much to them, so they are light & loud and helped the hemi breathe so much better than those monstrous suitcase style mufflers and resos did
right on hector, the t / a 392 is my dream car, because, besides the hellcat widebody, its the best handling at the track, according to car and driver bro !!
Great video!! I have been looking into these Dodge Challengers and they are really fun cars. My pick would be the craziest one of the bunch and that would be the Demon. Crazier the better for me. Lol!!! I am also a new subscriber and thanks for making great videos and very informative also.
Fucking A man. You made me legit laugh out loud when you revved the sxt and put the laughing faces up there. Hahahaha great video. Makes me miss my old 392
1987jeepyj hahaha it does and sounds even worse next to those beautiful machines. I would personally never have a 6 banger and went for the srt challenger. Actually they are too heavy for the 5.7 and would not own an rt either
@@Serenessl1994 yeah because the kind of transmission you choose to roll with determines if urfake or real - just by the transmission you choose to drive with😒

Much better interior and Flat bottom steering wheel. The SRT 392 would IMO would be a better comparison. TA, Scatpack are awesome cars, but it was a harder decision between the SRT and Hellcat, I went with the more affordable SRT for my situation... Needless to say I can’t wait for my Hellcat one day.
The SXT I feel is for someone who may not be able to afford a top tier challenger but wants something that is more stylish and fun then say a Honda Civic. The challenger T/A, in my opinion, is all about the muscle car heritage of challengers of old and is all about the retro-V8 car look. The hellcat on the otherside is for someone who wants retro car looks but with super-car performance and something that will pin unsuspecting passengers to the back of the seat!
josorzo11 he didn't even give them full throttle and on the manual it says to give it short bursts of power until 500 miles and don't launch the vehicle from a stop until 500

I've had an itch to get a TA392 lately
Thanks for not helping!
599Robb haha! Welcome to the Channel Rob!
🤣🤣
I love my 2016 SRT 392. It's right in the middle between the TA 392 and the Hellcat. Great video!
Thanks so much, great car!
Nah man, your ride has the magnetic ride suspension, the TA doesn't
Yeah it's not between buddy lol
@@pslim68 Uh, yes it is.
@@odertube I stand corrected
Good review! I love the infamous whine of the 6.2L Supercharged Hemi.
It's sick. Thanks for your feedback

The ta 392 sounded the best in the beginning in my opinion

stoneimage666 you're welcome! Thank you for joining Torque Junkies!
Great review and test drove a TA few weeks ago that is one badass ride!
I plan on test driving one tomorrow.
I did test drive one in Destroyer Gray with a stick. People are right: you get smiles per the gallon. I still haven't pulled the trigger on one yet.
Excellent video! Demon? What Demon?🤔 Right on target! The Dodge Challenger line up is plenty!😉
Totally agree with you!
Thats false saying t/a only comes in manual bro.....
Fucking A man. You made me legit laugh out loud when you revved the sxt and put the laughing faces up there. Hahahaha great video. Makes me miss my old 392
Great video u making me wanna get a stick sift now lol
Thanks!
The sxt sounds like a quiet fart can
lmao, agreed
A quiet fart can with a quiet fart can price.

You can get a TA with an automatic and a 392
Thanks for the feedback!
no one will ever buy one auto though...its a enthusiasts car...and real car guys and gals would never buy a auto

I got one in auto about 3 weeks ago. Love it

How did the laguna leather feel compared to the alkantera suede? Plushness, softness, quality, etc? And please be specific
8:28-8:31 just close your eyes and listen!
The laughing emojis took me out 🤣🤣
Where can I find one?
So u guys skippped the rt and used the v6?
Why rev the mopars so high in the beginning
V8 with the auto trans for the win.
Great video man👌🏼..When you said u almost wasted 1/4 of gas was that true? Lol I'm trying to purchase a hellcat this coming year.
how much does hellcat costs
LMAO at the SXT 😂😂
Could've had the ta as a manual and then the hellcat as an 8 speed auto
Why not the R/T
Planning on doing a review on one
Torque Junkies don't waste your time. Dodge should have skipped the r/t and just stuck with 6.4L.

very good bro 👍✌
Any challenger is a good car v6 or v8 you are not f1 driver!!
I'm surprised the dealer let you rev those cars to the point of blowing an engine ?

Bro that V6 might be better then the hellcat...😂
U DIDNT GO UP THE LATTER U MISSED THE 5.7 HEMI 🤷🏾♂️
You can't push new cars like that, they need to be breaking in first ass .... you obviously don't give a shit cuz they're not yours.
josorzo11 he didn't even give them full throttle and on the manual it says to give it short bursts of power until 500 miles and don't launch the vehicle from a stop until 500
Time for a red eye hellcat review..... and dont drive it like a school girl like you did in this video 😂😂😂
How about a charger trio?
That poor v6 lmao
.........they didn't give you the red key...did they.
They did
He cant even handle the sxt ,
WTF it is not a huge car ...
