It's a niche product though. These things do okay in America but in Europe you would need to do business with multiple businesses in different countries to get that kind of amount of sales.😅
But is 1 million in sales really that good lol?- the man said he already had lifetime sales of $400k when he went into shark tank- so since then he only sold another $600 in product??! That sounds pretty awful to me, especially if he only owns 49% of the business lol, AND Barbara told him he couldn't take a salary. 🤷♀️
@@MAGAprincess depends on the cost of business and distribution. If it costs 200k to make 1 million then you hit the lottery. But that will not be the case for 90 percent of all business concepts. He said himself that he had production issues with the manufacturer so I don't think that the 1 million is such a good number in this case.

Here is what is interesting about entrepreneurs that come into the shark tank asking for $50,000. The sharks get paid $50,000 an episode. So, if a product like this doesn't pan out, they really haven't lost out on anything.

All of the deals were bad … 12% royalty in perpetuity means basically profit margins get deluted prety much gone and obviously giveing 51% or 75% equity isnt the way to go either cause then you lose basicly most of the rights of you company so yeah just advertise try to raise some money for customer aquisition and sell direct to consumer from website then try to find distribution and try to get in to retail after tou have proven your concept of your product and sails

Not sure why he gave up 51% of his company.. the last 2% alone should have warranted an extra 20k at the minimum
But Kevin is asking 12%royalty. So, it's 12% on total revenue not on 12% net profit.
It’s not 12% of profits, it’s 12% of revenue. Considering most companies make between 5% - 20% profit, Kevin would probably make more than him
