The screams you heard really did come from that actress. Some of the most chilling screams I've ever heard, not just in a show or movie... The actress had her mom take her to abandoned places, empty parking lots, etc so she could practice screaming without freaking anyone out lol. Amazing performance.
We always knew who Stannis was. He murdered his brother in cold blood, but let someone else do the deed for him, and he does it again with his own daughter. So much for "the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword". He wanted to kill his nephew and only surviving family. He knew right from wrong, but sold his soul because of his lust for the throne. He used Melisandre's "prince who was promised" spiel as a convenient means to pretend that he was doing this for others and not his own ego. He was once an upright man, who like Macbeth, was destroyed by his tragic flaw of "vaulting ambition", held in check until provided with an excuse and pathway to surrender to it. As Stannis himself said, "The bad doesn't wipe away the good (he did do good things), nor does the good wipe away the bad." People were so shocked by Shireen's execution, but Stannis's ambition, hubris, and ruthlessness has been on display from the beginning. Just because he wasn't those things 100% of the time, doesn't mean that he wouldn't ulitimately prove too weak to overcome such serious character flaws.
Yeah.. I'm tired of book purists acting like Stannis wont end up doing the same in WoW whenever it comes out. It's going to go down differently for sure, but the outcome will be the same.
A dance with dragons is one of the best stories in the Game of Thrones world. That’s what the House of Dragon show is about.. hopefully HBO doesn’t screw it up Also, hey gorgeous trin!
I have to say I was with Luke on this. As shitty as Ramsay is, he'll never be king. Stannis will be if he can raise an army to take King's Landing. And if he does, it will really be the red woman who rules, and after this episode that terrified me more than anything. Plus, while a part of me knows Ramsay has to go, full transparency time; you have to admit he makes the show more interesting.
Stannis sadly lost the core of who he was. In S3 Davos tell him “you aren’t a man who slaughters innocents for gain or glory” but as the show went on Stannis lost himself along the way.
Just devastating. I know several people for whom this episode was the end of the road with this show, that Shireen scene was just too miserable. Hard to watch it again for you reaction.
Hey guys!! I'm from Brazil and portuguese has a lot in common with spanish so Luke can try this later on and will be all good: Jogo dos Tronos = Game of Thrones. Great reaction as always. Cheers
2 of 3 dragons are locked away for killing a man daughter only Drogon remains free the dragons can sense the emotions of their riders especially because Drogon always had very close relationships with Danny that why he showed up because she was scared if you don’t believe me watch the House of Dragon scene where Rhaenyra gives very hard labour and her dragon is screaming like he feels her pain ….
When she got attacked a few episodes ago for executing the slave guy, drogon went to the pyramid that night to check on Dany. Like he sensed she was in distress, but flew away when he saw she was OK.

It's also kinda showing how showrunners actually started cutting loose ends here and there to get rid of all the secondary arcs and characters in order to straighten and simplify the story.
Joffrey and Ramsey are way worse than Stannis and Ned 's death is way worse, the death of a Dire Wolf or Dragon is way worse than a human, I can watch all of the Red Wedding except for the death of Grey Wind!

Trin's concern over the giant is the sweetest thing lol. Her realization over him not having a bed killed me
Best part of the reaction 😂

I couldn't have said it better if I tried.
And the parent of the year award goes to...The Baratheon Family.
THANKS GOD FINALLY someone comparing the fighting pit with attack of the clones hahaha
Shireen Baratheon, She deserved SO much more. It was the first time I cried in GOT....Rick
Ned was way worse

There's been a lot of wannabe monarchs burning people alive recently.
Not me saying “yay!” When I saw y’all uploaded and then saying “oh no” when I saw the title of the episode 💀
I just did the same shit lol.
Respectfully, I reject the assertion that viewers could ever forget how hot Bliss is
Just devastating. I know several people for whom this episode was the end of the road with this show, that Shireen scene was just too miserable. Hard to watch it again for you reaction.
I believe it! The most brutal scene we’ve ever seen. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
7:27 I LOVE those glasses
Omg they’re great lol adorable, hilarious and functional
No one forgot how hot Bliss is, just saying you are the definition of Dracarys sister
When you talk about Stannis' soul, take note of his sigil.
@10:03 NO SIR!! His character just got butchered by the show runners, he still remains one of the best characters in the books.
Thank goodness bliss had those glasses on cos I dunno how I would’ve gotten through that scene otherwise
Edit: nvm smug Luke is here to save us 😂

Thank you!!! 😄
I live for the Stannis hate
ugghh.. yes she called for Drogon .. she is NEVER ready to die.. she is in this to win her families throne back

I think the dragons can feel their person’s emotions but they can’t be trained or tamed.
House of the Dragon goes into it a little more.
Yea its more like a working relationship rather than the person being an owner.
When she got attacked a few episodes ago for executing the slave guy, drogon went to the pyramid that night to check on Dany. Like he sensed she was in distress, but flew away when he saw she was OK.
lol Trin that was the most obtuse explanation I have ever heard. Hilarious :)

What Stannis did was horrific yes...But don't count Ramsey out just yet in the maniac competition...Lol
Im so happy someone else finally noticed the parallel to the Genosis battle in Atrack of the Clones!
That was on cable today and the whole time I’m like “isn’t this just the battle with Dany flying off on Drogo??”
Sad day for us, stannis fans
Yep! Character also got butchered.
He was always my favorite in the books. I was devastated when this episode aired
It's also kinda showing how showrunners actually started cutting loose ends here and there to get rid of all the secondary arcs and characters in order to straighten and simplify the story.
Hot as the fires of hell

House of the Dragon covers the dance of dragons, you'll see Dany's great×7 grandmother Rhaenyra and other targaryens in their prime
She absolutely summoned him.
