Suzy & Steejo react to Game of Thrones season 5. Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss for HBO. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, a series of fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin, the first of which is A Game of Thrones.

The sarcastic “Mr plot armour” literally killed me 😂
Everyone was talking about how Jon Snow had plot armour until they ended up jinxing it
Suzy's accent goes full throttle Scottish when she's pissed. 😂🤣
LOL I find that this is what happens to anyone with even a slight accent.. it just goes full on. Something about the brain and accents and being upset or surprised
They're Scottish. Swore I she was full blown southern gal...no chit
I came to the comments to find this exact one. Not disappointed 😂Lmao 🎉
It took me a second hearing to figure out that "paydints" is parents.
Lol the FEEREOUS
Such a satisfying sound hearing Myranda hit the ground 😂
Thud!
Imagine watching this, and then having to wait AN ENTIRE YEAR to see what happens next. That's what we had to suffer through
@VoodooEagle or you could read the books were he's been dead since 2011
@@catherinemckeown2746 I waited until after this episode to read the books. I actually got Fire and Blood delivered today!! So excited to read it!
@@VoodooEagle You will love this book. Specially part 1. I read it twice Fire and Blood !
P.S. Amazing logo : )
Imagine reading this and then ...
Oof
We can all agree this is one of the most brutal TV episode, back when its airing, it made most of us hard to sleep, just like the ending scene, stabbing you in the heart one after another.
i see some people think 3x09 is worse but i was more sad and angry on this one
@@TheInvoker78 we'd become more attached to Jon over 5 seasons, but 3x09 was more surprising and brutal, plus it killed of 2 major characters, plus Talisa and her baby. This season there WERE hints/foreshadowing of the Night's Watch mutiny, but the Red Wedding completely blindsided most people.
I agree this one left people feeling more sad while 3x09 was more disbelief and shock.
@@TheInvoker78I agree
I admit it was hard for the watch.
Suzy is right, btw: that was in fact a body double. I think at the time Lena Headey was pregnant, which may have factored into things. But also, that's just a really intense thing to shoot.
Yeah I thought so. There's no way I could do that if I was an actress. Whoever she was, she was brave!
She had a contract that excluded nudity
Suzy literally called Jon's stabbing a few episodes back. If memory serves she also called Catelyn's death before the red wedding. Not bad that. Also she can sing!
Props to Suzy for guessing the end of Jon.
She even hinted Ollie would have something to do with it
I remember when this episode aired. I think it's been talked about more than the death of Elizabeth ll. We all thought he would've been the one to survive it all
There's another aspect to why some members of The Watch were pissed off enough to kill Jon. As far as these guys know, the entire point of The Night's Watch is to keep the wildlings on the north side of the wall (it wan't the original point, but that's only just been rediscovered and they haven't processed it yet). These guys have given up their old lives, and sworn solemn vows to have no life _but_ service to The Watch. They've elected Jon to be Lord Commander, and he's gone right out and let wildings south of the wall. By doing that he has, in their eyes, pissed on all their sacrifice and tradition. Yes, we know he's right about the big picture, but these are simple men with a limited education and world view.
And justified view too. I mean, Olly was right to be salty too. They attacked his village. They had been at war. So yeah, not liking them is understandable.
I remember watching this episode with my friends at the local bar with our direwolf stark shirts on, we were literally silent for like 10 minutes at the end just sipping our beers and ended up getting piss drunk. I called out of work the next day cause of how drunk I got and was still reeling at all the characters that were killed off especially Jon. Season five doesn't get as much love as the seasons before it but it still holds up almost 8 years later. As a book reader I didn't know what was going to happen next and to this day we still don't lol we had to wait a full year. Game of Thrones was such a phenomenon truly I really enjoyed watching this with you guys, it brought back the memories of that era.
Seems like quite a memory!
I think that it's well worth going back and looking at the conversations with Olly throughout the season. No one took his concerns seriously enough Jon most of all. And then there's the conversation he had with Sam which in my mind is the final nail in the coffin when he tells him that 'you have to do what feels right, regardless of what others might think.' Sam, obviously, has faith in Jon because Jon confides in him and they're friends and is also the guy who turned his life around. His faith in Jon blinded him to what was happening as well.
There's also the fact that Jon, like Ned, doesn't feel the need to explain what's honorable. He expects people to understand it. I do think it's interesting.
Stanis's "ah fuck it" march into certain death was about as stanis as it gets
It is totally underrated how Stannis was in this scene. While his troops gave up hope and begin to desert from the back, he accepts his fate and pulls out his sword, only to inspire the last bit of courage and sacrifice from his followers. He might not be the best king, but he is as good a soldier can get.
They used a body double for the shame scene. Still very powerful.
You are right, they used a body double. The High Sparrow said she had to present herself as Gods made her, and that mean short hair.
suzy said "that actress has balls"
steejo: i didnt see anything
i chocked loool
It was hard to wait for another season after the death of Jon Snow
i was really sad. i keep watching because i was thinking "at least Daenerys is still there".
I've always wondered why the switched the roles of Sam and Jon on him going to the citadel. in the books it was jon telling him to go to the citadel and he didn't want to
They didn’t want to go too far into “dark Jon” from ADWD
As sad as Jon's death is there is plenty to stay around for.
“Might as well strip her.” LMAO
Not Reek! THEON 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Steejo is hilarious!
And THIS is where the books are ending. Last Book came out in 2011, the next one is still not out in 2023. Imagine to stay with this ending for 12 or more years.
How chuffed Suzy was when he said "woman" 😂 love it!
@@maciejp7829 oh god, near the start. I'd have to watch again to get the time.
@@maciejp7829 16:41
Everybody usually expects the episode 9's of a season to be the big shocker episode.... And then there was this, season 5 finale.
And we had to wait a YEAR!!
15:52
...."Stannis being attacked by 2 men"
Suzy: Noooo
...."Stannis kills them"
Steejo: Yaaaas come on Stannis.
Suzy: Why are you team Stannis?
Hahahahaha
BECAUSE HE'S THE MANNIS!
I was waiting for the ”Duncle,” haha, you’re killing me!!! 😂😂😂
I love the shame bell app. You shake the phone to ring the bill and hit the shame button to hear "SHAME!"😅😅😂
He is jaqen Uchiha. You are already under his genjutsu
In fairness to Ollie, he is a child who watched his entire family and village murdered in front of him by wildings, and was told by the Thenn that they were going to eat his parents. So it's understandable that he wouldn't want to side with the wildings.
I can't wait to see you guys watch the next season. We've all been where you guys are right now. It sucks seeing so many good characters go but it kinda makes you not take the other characters for granted.
Interesting fact: when Dany got on drogo on on ep 9, when she commands drogon to fly, she does so in Dothraki.. so he took her to the Dothraki sea I think
you really cheered me up. i had a bad week, and you really cheered me up. Thank you
I'm so glad!
Another thing the way Suzy said "that was disgusting" you're not wrong lol truly upsetting.
The constant theme of GoT is that every season people crave that elusive comeuppance, every season the carrot gets dangled and then right at the last moment it all gets taken away brutally. The vile characters remain on top and you're left bitterly disappointed by a subversive ending. GoT season enders are like crack, you keep coming back for more emotional abuse. Then comes Tyrion's "ray of hope ending" last season and you think maybe this is the big turnaround. But then they drop this massive shoe right in the middle of the series. Jon's betrayal and death (for slightly different reasons) is where GRRM left off the Night's Watch saga in his last book. When this episode aired it made an ungodly amount of noise, it really was one of those viral TV moments of the 2010s. Everyone and their mother was talking about it. President Obama asked HBO's David Nutter if Jon is really dead, that's how much of a phenomenon Jon Snow had become. On the surface you can see it as a "this time I'm really done" type of downer ending for the ages. On the other hand it's the most fitting end of act two of a three act structure for a show like this. I've never seen a series which has given the viewer so little by way of 'happiness' and yet made everything so compelling. So Season 5 leaves us with all the main characters hitting rock bottom. But at some point there has to be some payoff, right? What if it's in the next one? Well it's GoT, they're probably just gonna hit you over the head with more frustration and sadness. But you'll have to find out...
I wondered why Sam wasn't sent to the Cidatel in the first place.
Randyll didn''t want Sam anywhere near his lands and titles... But making him a maester made more sense than sending him to the wall. He would even have agreed to that.
“Ya know what F that kid!” I’m laughing and crying with you 😂😂😂
Love that she’s talking to Olly through the camera at the end lol
man I've forgotten how much happened on that episode.. the good old days of gold writing
You guys are so lucky you don't have to wait to watch the next one! There was so much that happened this episode.. I cried when I saw the ending for the first time. There is so much that happens next season and its definitely worth watching!
I hope they continue to react to this series. A lot of characters step up after Jon, but it is a bit of a task to enjoy the series if you watched this series because of Jon. This literally gave me clinical depression due to having seen Jon in his life; having just enough of the good things to know what life could be and the hope of having it; then ending it with this stab to the heart.
25:31 Steejo you legend 😂
Ramsay: "If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention."
Great Reaction guys!! I was waiting for the end to kick off. Don't stop now. Next season is going to be a doozy.😁
Thon’s aka reek’s sister in real life is Lily Allen the singer and she said she couldn’t watch the show because see him was hard on her and the song Alfie is about him lol
such a good finale!
14:10 - "I'm so done !!" - No, not yet... 😏
Don't worry guys, next season is one of the best.
4-5-6 all good and i liked many moments also in S7 despite what many says. S8 well....decent first 3 episodes but after those..
@@TheInvoker78 for me it's 3-4-6 can't stand 5 lol
yup, by far some of the best episodes the series has to offer
@@algerianchaouki5705 feally ? Me personally I hated seaosn 6 and couldn’t stand how stupid it was, but I loved season 5
@@MultiAlerocks good for u.... Nobody cares about ur opinion
For just a sit second, Jaime had true happiness in his life, being a father. And it was ripped away from him. Very sad.
Ollie sucks, but remember how fresh his wound is with the wildings killing his entire family and village-and the man he looked up to just turning around to help them…Jon is right, and Jon is the better person but especially for Ollie I can understand how he gets to this decision.
Suzy, you did see this coming with Olly! I remember.
Jon's story finishes here itself in the books too. Its good we aren't reading books.
Your reaction to Jamie talking about his familial bonds with Myrcella made me realize that you really need to react to the Red Nose Day Coldplay Game of Thrones Musical video which is on UA-cam. It was released before season 5 so there's definitely no spoilers anymore and it's pretty much a must watch for Game of Thrones reactors.
Omg Suzy you can sing such a beautiful voice! ❤
Haha thank you. - Suz
"Order your man to step aside or there will be violence.."
"I choose violence!"
This whole episode was wild!
Stannis warned Jon to send Thorn away.
The title of this one is intriguing. Aside from the obvious, Selyse hanging herself, Cersei appealing to the Mother's mercy, Ellaria, a mother, showing no mercy to Myrcella, there's also Stannis and Arya. Stannis just killed Shireen, and the Mother is the goddess who protects children. In trying to please the Lord of Light, did Stannis offend The Mother? He finds himself at the mercy of a woman. And then Jaqen, who believes all gods are one, (the Many Faced God), admonishes Arya that she has offended by taking a life that was not hers to take - as Stannis may have done. There's a lot of possible layers.
Stannis must of been slaying in this battle... in the end he lost it... but he was the first person in the fight and almost made it out
On to season 6! My favorite!!
you better upload 2
more videos asap cuz we waited this for a long time and can' t wait this too
Props to the editor !!
The scene was based on ceasar's assassination. At least now we know you would feel a similar thing for Julius Ceasar.
So glad you are about to embark on Season 6 - it’s the BEST! If you can, binge episodes 1 and 2 to get you started…you won’t be sorry!
Season 6 and Season 4 are GOATED
I feel like people were less sad and more pissed off with this one.
The smirking smile on steego’s face …. She is lovely Suzy no man is gonna be Terrified of her
Love your reaction. Keep up the great work. You guys this. Devastated me when it happened.😓✌️
also i never understoof what it was Brienne was supposed to do if she saw the candle? She was gonna storm the castle on her own????
noone can''t see the light of a candle from a mile away no matters what
Olly is/was so hated that he had his own subreddit :D
Hang in there. can't wait until the next season. Thanks!
You're confused the same way Aria is confused. They don't have one face. They have many faces. They're no one.
It’s a disgrace to see how far and low the Night’s Watch has fallen.
They do a good job of making you feel for Cersei even after all the horrible stuff she’s done. Great reaction
It’s all part of thy training Arya. no need to panic.
I feel like their motivation is the most simple out of everyone- cycle of life 😅
Jaime finally got someone who loved him for him and then he loses her, that’s saddening
Watched this Live to see you guys reach the ending_ I knew you guys were gonn flip...RIP Jon Snow😞😞💔💔
I must know where the jumper is from! I love it 😍
In Westeros, ppl get sent to the Wall to pay for their sins. In Melissandre twisted mind, she is paying for hers. She has lost faith at the moment. Bring on season 6 indeed.
How does Jon get murdered AFTER Hardhome? Didn't all the brothers on the boats come back and be like "Holy shit guys he's fucking right this is the end of days we gotta band together!"
Is it just me or does the scottish accent come through when Suzy is angry? :D
it's always there xD
It was a body double for cersei, lena heady was pregnant at the time of filming
Post this I’m glad we had like two years because otherwise I wouldn’t watch s6 immediately. Jon be the purest character on the show I was BAWLING.
This episode was packed full of awesome hell
He'll be fine
O I have no doubt doubt John will be fine
Me: SMH
can't wait to see your reaction to the next episode please don't take too long 😢
Just recall that Sam started Olly down this path with his advice to him in the last episode.
"That guy is a god" ... no, they are called faceless men for a reason, they use magic to change their appearance. There is no Jaqen, and there is no Waife, they are one person, and they are many people at the same time, how is this confusing?
Stark house is falling like flies, no plot armor for them. Ned, Catelyn, Robb now Jon
It was a body double, she said it in an interview. She's done it in the past I believe for other stuff but not GoT.
The actress that played Cersei was also pregnant and had a baby bump so another reason not to do scene.
daenerys was born on dragonstone which is the most eastern part of westeros, it's the island where stannis lived in the first seasons. she fled to essos very shortly after so she has no memory of westeros
So many deaths in this ep. Merrin Trount. It however you spell. Stanis....his wife...marcella.. ramsys girl.. Jon.. did I miss any
Wow that sentence makes a different kind of sense lol. It sounds like stannis and his wife myrcella and ramsey's girl jon
(17:52) Two things.
I love the reactions, especially a reaction as simple as Duh?
Also, I've seen some fan vids on the Boltons likening them to a vampire family. I think the actors play on that motivation.
SHAME is still my text message tone on my phone 😆
idk guys, i remember when i watched the show for first time, i didn't liked Cersei on the first seasons, but i started to like her more and more with the time.
(opposite from Tyrion that he was probably my favorite character on the first seasons, but after the Blackwater battle, the character started going down imo).
In Jon snow case, i never really liked him, so for me this chapter was not a big deal.
Arya was punished because she killed Meryn Trent and took his eyes 👀
Awwww Season 6……one of my favorites.
Lena (Cersei) has a contract not to show nudes in scenes. And it's not her in the scene because she was pregnant. There are those who say that the timing was perfect.
Almost caught up with ur reactions:)
here for the watch
I always wondered how Lady Malissandre "rode" out of camp if the mutilnied men and the sellswords took all the horses?
Lena Headey didn't want to do the atonement scenes, I think she just had a kid at the time
Favorite reaction ever, I like angry Suzy ❤️❤️❤️😂😂😂
