I discovered Fear Factory in 1995 when I was only 13.And yeah, it was Mortal Kombat. But what is more important is that even after 15 years I still listen to this song!
@@Poser_Metal_Recordslol homeboy? Dude there was literally only 1 song on that album that was remotely “Nu-Metal” and that was because of B-Real. Digimortal was more groove focused, but yeah he’s still the fucking man.
Slipknot chose the mainstream life and to stick with the record label. FF broke away because they didn’t want to be apart of the corporate machine which fits FF lol.
IMO, Scorpion should be in the power/strench level of Spawn and/or Ghost Rider. Also, I think it woudn't be a bad idea if he was a kind of punisher who would send the villains and sinners into eternal damnation in the Netherrealm.
3 or so notable games from what I can gather; Carmageddon Mortal Combat Test Drive (5 & 6) And the strange thing is, I'm a huge gamer, love all of those games, but I found Fear Factory by myself, which I'm somewhat proud of, but you got to love their involvement in video game soundtracks from the good old 90's! Still FF rule, it doesn't matter whether you found it through a game or just because you heard they're badass - we're all here for one thing: FEAR FACTORY!!!
Its cool to me. What sucks is dino hated FF being involed in games. Raymons herrera was the gamer who got them into game deals. I imagine lots of legal paprework.
A friend of my dad has a mom back in 1995 or 96 his mom got so religious that she took all his posters, cassets, shirts, and magazines of metal and burned it all and he left her house living with his dad and most of the cassets were from Fear Factory.
I swear every time I try to play this song I get 1 min into it and my forearm feels like its gonna explode lol. Gotta keep plugging, but I love all of there music have all there albums.
if this was the "secret show", they were first on for the day and still drew a massive crowd... this was at like ~11:30am. AND I WAS THERE AND IT WAS AWESOME.
None of these people are in the band anymore. crazy. I did get to see this lineup though. love FF in all its forms. cant wait to see what the future brings now that Dino has full control
Just me, but I relate this song more to Carmageddon than MK. Take me back to the late-90's when Carmageddon first hit the shelves, this music made the game. It's sheer unbridled ecstatic power and kickass rhythm makes it the classic that it deserves to be. :) And looking at that vid, I'm so sorry I missed BDO '04.
God i remember hearing this in Mortal Kombat. Burton is getting up in the years i hope Fear Factory releases at least two more albums they should do a remix of Powershifter or Fear Campaign
@EllaMews Yessum. Compared to their other albums it's alot softer. But I don't really care about whether it's hard or soft so long as I like it, which I do.
I love the drumming in this song!
I discovered Fear Factory in 1995 when I was only 13.And yeah, it was Mortal Kombat.

2021 now. Same in 1995. Still a monster classic
Always be a classic. Even people that dont like heavy metal likes it. When they play mortal kombat they start head banging automatically
Same
25 years and counting. I found this in Mk too. 12 years old.
carmageddon
I like how Christian is killing it on the guitar while calmly smiling
it's odd how Christian sounds completely different compared to Dino cazares
Epic.
Fear Factory for life.
For me this song doesnt remind me of Carmaggeddon, this is the song that plays when Scorpion and Johnny Cage fight in the MK movie, too good
I love all forms of Fear Factory. You da man Burt.
What about when they went homeboy on Digimortal?
@@Poser_Metal_Recordslol homeboy? Dude there was literally only 1 song on that album that was remotely “Nu-Metal” and that was because of B-Real. Digimortal was more groove focused, but yeah he’s still the fucking man.
One of the most underrated metalbands today....
Incredible! Not only did they invent a genre. They could play it.
Burton vocals fucking kill me.
sucks how much SLIPKNOT took these guys formula and went on to become super huge
FEAR FACTORY >>>>>> ..... 100 years ..... >>> SLIPKNOT
Slipknot chose the mainstream life and to stick with the record label. FF broke away because they didn’t want to be apart of the corporate machine which fits FF lol.
THE GREATEST SONG EVER MADE!!!
Awesome. One of my favorite songs from the band. Hail Fear Factory.
0:17 _A WILD VIKING APPEARS_
I like the galloping double kick beat it makes me feel like a horse in a field or a 3 burst rifle
irl Scorpion would have owned Johnny Cage.. just sayin
a century later everyone still mad about that. Including myself XD
Never forget
IMO, Scorpion should be in the power/strench level of Spawn and/or Ghost Rider. Also, I think it woudn't be a bad idea if he was a kind of punisher who would send the villains and sinners into eternal damnation in the Netherrealm.
Sounds fabulous live. Thanks for sharing.
I was introduced to Fear Factory thru Carmageddon! I am sure you 1990s gamers would know of it and you 2000s gamers would have heard of its legend \m/

Life is better than studio :-D very good song
IIIIM down on my knees !!
Guess what, same here. MK introduced me to FF.
Ray Herrera is amazing. Wonder though why he has toms on his drumset when he hardly ever uses them...
@EllaMews Yessum. Compared to their other albums it's alot softer. But I don't really care about whether it's hard or soft so long as I like it, which I do.
