One thing I notice with the coravin is that it mutes alcohol after u open the bottle Again. Perhaps it has something to do with the argon pumping out the ethanol vapors. The wine itself stays pretty much the same but it’s something I notice. For those who likes a softer alcohol content this is perfect but I prefer a little kick from the alcohol. We did a few experiments side by side with a new bottle and coravined bottle. After about an hour or two after we poured the two wines were almost exactly the same. But if you open them fresh then the one that was coravin was a little tighter and less rough. Also since u lose alcohol content you lose a little on the nose as well.
