I was in the Philippines for the whole month of May, and now that I'm back in Canada I keep reminiscing about the country. Living in the Philippines is definitely more fun, and my plan is to move there as well in the future. Such a beautiful country, with amazing hospitable people, great food, great nightlife, great scenery, etc
Thank you so much, we believe it is an amazing country as well! We are grateful for the amazing support from the UA-cam family and friends. Salamat po and ingat ‘til next time 🇵🇭✌🏼
Congratulations on your decision to travel the world and move to the Philippines🎉🥂 I wish I had the guts and resources to be able to do the same, especially while I’m young. This will be an incredible life experience for the boys. I wish you a safe and unbelievable journey……God bless🙏🏼

If your family decide to have a house build on any island, ensure that the land is titled, talk to the locals how the environment affects your location and electricity. It has to withstand mother nature's wrath. My wife and I spend 9 years in Central Luzon and were hit by two catergory 3 and 4. The number 4 was the hardest and toppled coconuts and mango trees, also flood, because our house is near a river. When the typhoon landfalls it sounded like a freight train. Heavy rain and howling wind through the night brought my wife in a state of chaos, not knowing what to do. Our house withstood it and spent our days cleaning up after. I'll share with you my reasons why I watch videos like yours. I enjoy watching how FOREIGNERS REACT to a country's customs, traditions, environment, and foods. My favorite countries are the Philippines, Korea, Japan, and China (but don't go there right now). So you have to be a FOREIGNER (and it doesn't matter to me what your ethnicity is) in any of these countries. Although I also love watching cooking videos, unless you're planning to share a delicious or unique recipe, I'd say don't prioritize that because there are already a plethora of cooking videos out there.
For me as a Filipino it's a good decision moving to the Philippines so that your to children can experience the true meaning of happiness and they would enjoy their childhood because as a Philippine tourism tagline "It's More Fun In The Philippines". They can also dig deeper their Filipino roots and explore the beauty of paradise. Enjoy your stay in the Philippines and I hope you'll having a good time & blessed family life in the country.
Your Husband must be part Filipino. The children are obviously of mix heritage. I wish you and your Family well. The Filipino dance you're talking about is Tinikling.
Have a safe trip coming home to the philippines. Hope you continue your vlogs. I do enjoy your content. Cant wait to see the new content you put out once your in the philippines. Cheers
Thank you! Will do! More to come! We have a lot to do to settle in so I'm not sure how the daily vlogs will fit in the very busy right now. Maybe someday in the near future.
Hello po ☺️ we are looking at some time in the city to start off but we will most likely appreciate having the larger spaces and privacy that the province can provide us. Please share any suggestions that you might have 🇵🇭
Wow that's good news! I think there will be a huge subs when you do traveling Philippines like other vloggers but when you're here please do visit Iloilo City, Boracay, Guimaras and Gigantes Island and taste the yummy and delicious that you haven't tasted yet. God bless and have a safe trip! 😊👍❤️🇵🇭
Thank you so much for these suggestions! We will definitely add them to the list 😊 thank you for watching and supporting the channel. Salamat and ingat po 🙏🏼

Go ahead with your xooking video with Mexican cooking and do a mix filipino and mezican. If you can do baking like baking a oan dulce or Bolillo brwad which looks similar with Pan de Sal.
Definitely looking forward to eating! We’d love to visit so many areas like Baguio, Clark, Laguna, Boracay, Coron and many more. I think as far as foods go I’d like to try things I’ve had here too because every family/province has a different way of preparing a dish so it will be interesting to try all of the flavors!
OMG! This is kind of like my story. I'm a family of 4 with a 7 & 4 yr old boys. We're thinking of moving to the Philippines but in our case she's looking to work overseas for an American Co. So will see how that goes... Im a new Subscriber to your channel and can't wait to see more of your journey.
That sounds fantastic and certainly not an option that most people ever get blessed with. We will continue to share as much of the “good and bad” as we can. Currently the Wi-Fi situation is our biggest challenge especially since there’s really not many options available. Thank you for watching and ingat po 🇵🇭✌🏼
@@LLVT Where you guys live? If it is in Metro Manila and other major cities, then internet should not be a problem at all. But if you are traveling to remote places, then internet connection becomes a challenge.
it's nice to live here in the Philippines if you are earning just the same as you are in the states. I imagine a person having a luxurious life if you only have the means of earning alot

So what happens to the kids education? I'm thinking online classes. Right? What about their friends and classmates? Are they going to miss them? Unless they communicate thru messenger. Problem solved.

Thanks for sharing your journey. My question is what are your plans re: medical treatments. Did you guys purchased insurance? This would be our #1 issue if we ever get a chance to move to the Philippines. We live in Canada where we have OHIP for our health care. If you did get health insurance, How much is it costing you as a family. Thanks
Stay tuned for that answer and some others on a future vlog 😉 but spoiler alert because I know this topic is research intensive - we went with Cigna Global for our health insurance. More details to come. Salamat and ingat po 🇵🇭✌🏼

My advice -- on how to get 10 MILLION subscribers ASAP -- do your cooking vlogs while wearing a BIKINI! Everyone will understand and sympathize with your efforts to beat the heat -- cuz the Philippines is a warm and humid country.

Oh my! For real?! Are u gonna be in the city or province?
Hello po ☺️ we are looking at some time in the city to start off but we will most likely appreciate having the larger spaces and privacy that the province can provide us. Please share any suggestions that you might have 🇵🇭
Wow that's good news! I think there will be a huge subs when you do traveling Philippines like other vloggers but when you're here please do visit Iloilo City, Boracay, Guimaras and Gigantes Island and taste the yummy and delicious that you haven't tasted yet.
God bless and have a safe trip! 😊👍❤️🇵🇭

Go ahead with your xooking video with Mexican cooking and do a mix filipino and mezican. If you can do baking like baking a oan dulce or Bolillo brwad which looks similar with Pan de Sal.
Hi Roy! We recently met a Mexican chef here in BGC who runs a business. Hoping to be able to showcase him and his restaurant ...
New subscriber here. By this time you are probably in the Philippines already.

What r u looking forward in ph, like where place u gonna go, what filipino food u want to eat bcuz u never eaten before. Thanks
It would be awesome if your wife can be an expat in the Philippines. Salary in US dollars with the cost of living of the Philippines. That's a winner!
@@wavemaker2077 same thoughts. Crossing my fingers.
Agree 💯
@@LLVT Where you guys live? If it is in Metro Manila and other major cities, then internet should not be a problem at all. But if you are traveling to remote places, then internet connection becomes a challenge.
it's nice to live here in the Philippines if you are earning just the same as you are in the states.
I imagine a person having a luxurious life if you only have the means of earning alot
Thank you so much! We are grateful for the amazing support from the UA-cam family and friends. Salamat po and ingat ‘til next time 🇵🇭✌🏼

04:17 how come i never learned this dance? ... And outside of specialty restos, i do not see this around the country.
From what I’ve learned it’s an ancestral dance that used to happen long ago. I’m hoping that our whole family can learn more about the heritage of this diverse country. Thank you for watching and ingat po 🇵🇭✌🏼
Hope the very best for you and your family but it is very hard to make a living in the Philippines even for Filipinos it is so hard to make a good living hope the best for you good luck
So what happens to the kids education? I'm thinking online classes. Right? What about their friends and classmates? Are they going to miss them? Unless they communicate thru messenger. Problem solved.
Hello po, we have been homeschooling and doing outside activities for socializing. They spend some time talking through FaceTime with friends and family back home as well. Salamat po and ingat ‘til next time 🇵🇭✌🏼
Good luck in yhe Philippines😁👍.
Salamat Po! We are very excited for the adventure and we can't wait to start exploring the islands! 🇵🇭
Woah you're moving out of TV (Temec Valley)?? Owz 😔 i was happy to learn you're a close neighbor, now you're leaving 😫. We just came back from our trip to the PH, I can officially say I am jealous of your move to the PH. I look forward to seeing more videos from you. Best of luck and blessings!

Salamat and ingat po 🇵🇭✌🏼
oh my gosh kuya you are so brave to eat balut. i dont even eat balut.

My wife and I would love to make the Philippines our permanent address. Only hesitation is medical care .
Best of luck on your journey
Regards

Even the people from Guam go to the Philippines for their medical care/medical check-up. The medical care in the Philippines is quite good.
Thank you so much! We are grateful for the amazing support from the UA-cam family and friends. We were able to get some really great health insurance through Cigna Global, check them out. Salamat po and ingat ‘til next time 🇵🇭✌🏼
Kuya, don't eat too much balot cuz it has bad cholesterol and high in uric acid.
Kuya says “Salamat Po!” We appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave us a comment ☺️ ingat ‘til next time 🇵🇭✌🏼
Ang pogi pala ng asawa mo maam. Ang gwapo din ni kuya at bunso. Mana sa nanay.

My advice -- on how to get 10 MILLION subscribers ASAP -- do your cooking vlogs while wearing a BIKINI! Everyone will understand and sympathize with your efforts to beat the heat -- cuz the Philippines is a warm and humid country.
😂😂😂 I’ll need to get back into CrossFit before putting the two piece back on! Thanks for the suggestion and ingat’til next time 🇵🇭✌🏼
Where will u be staying in the phils? Buying a home, condo? Provincial or city life?
We are planning to do a bit of everything - we are staying in BGC to start off and eventually we plan to build a home in a province. Salamat po and ingat ‘til next time 🇵🇭🙏🏼
