I love that each person/family builds to their desire. The odd thing I find with "tiny" homes is parents don't seem to plan for their children's bedrooms so they can grow until at least 18 yrs old. It's like they build the bedrooms for the size the children are presently. I'm like WTF? Children grow a lot month to month. But they know what works so...
Yeah, so the girls have to share a bed when the baby gets big enough? 🤷🏻♀️ idk maybe it’s normal in other countries lol but yeah, in 5ish years, she’s going to be a teenager
i think considering the cost of this build.. they should have made those stairs useable for adults.. what if accidents occur.. i presume the pool is to code in regards to access.. but found that and the fire pit a bit disturbing.

They could easily make an extra room next to the kitchen, by simply moving the dinner table and grill up to the little green area, where the two large beanbags sit, and then extend the roof out further. The current children bedroom could then be made into one large room.

@@EnFuegoDuo yes true! It is. You do have to factor in the pool and the comparable houses in that area in New South Wales in Sydney as well as the cost of living, material and labor costs. Many of us grew up in houses smaller than that, with tiny bedrooms. I'm afraid that the Baby Boomers' grandchildren have no idea of how to "manage." Probably the most spoiled, entitled generation to walk the earth, with no survival skills whatsoever. That's why I watch Bryce's channel; it gives me hope that there are young people who can think for themselves, and know the difference between "want" and "need."
The house I grew up in was smaller than that and fit more people. I think they'll manage, plus as they've said they can adapt as the need arises. Their kids won't be with them forever either.
As a 19 year old, I can. I would LOVE this house and I would like to sleep in that cozy kid bedroom but the walkway would be huge trouble. I probably won't be able to fit to walkway
This is the most amazing tiny house... incredible. With the pool, this could be a vacation home kit that could be sold in larger quantities which could lower the cost of production.
@@ferocious_snailroswell2884 Are you referring to the play place under the parents' bed? That made me nervous too. I don't think I'd trust it to stay up with my own little child under it. @Mario Yah. Honestly I haven't seen any tiny house episodes with older kids/teens in them. It seems that the tiny house lifestyle is for adults without children or occasionally with one or two. I was thrilled that this episode was so kid-friendly. But yes, when they get older, I assume that the parents will either move back into their big house or something. It would be interesting to see if tiny house living is possible with kids of all ages...
@@sarahhancock848 There is one episode with a mother and her teenage daughter, but I think that may be the only one I can recall with older kids or teens in them. You should check that one out if you can!
I agree, theres not even any standing room where the crib is. It has to be uncomfortable trying to put the baby to sleep. And i dont like how claustrophobic the two beds above feel. The parents dont even have access to them.
This is an excellent solution. They were able to downsize, keep their original property and turn the main house into a source of income. I am doing pretty much the same thing on a less extravagant scale. I live in a 400 sq, ft. Studio behind the main house, which I have listed as a short term rental.
I love the innovation, but @13.30 “when you’re tight on space...” Really? They’ve skimped on living/bedroom space...BUT wait! There’s a big pool with a spa?
I don't understand the envious comments in here. this family made a great investment. going smaller wasn't for being free from mortgage, but to invest, and that's ok. yes, they are great parents, giving their kids an amazing space outdoors to play when they most need it. the kids' bedroom is just nice, kids are not claustrophobic, we adults are everythingphobic. of course they'll move back to the main house eventually, and then back to the play house when kids leave home. imagine their grandchildren excited to visit them to enjoy the pool or sleep over in the mini bedroom. Everything looks so fun! Lots of love to this family from Brazil ♥
This house is very mind-blowing. Just wow, like everything is functional, unique, and really, I've never thought I gonna see someone rent their original house, build a tiny house on the backyard with pool and outdoor kitchen on it. But the ending, Bryce 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
A great home, suitable for a tropical/hot climate. My only concern is the play area underneath the bed. What if the hinges fail and fall over the kids. Otherwise! Good layout!
What if your car gave out on you tomorrow on the highway? Are you going to let it rust in the driveway just in case? Or are you going to take every precaution to make sure that doesn’t happen so you can drive safely?
This Channel is so dangerous! I can’t stop seeing the next video and being impressed with the gorgeous home!! Thank youuuuu for working so brilliant to share with us. I begin to envision having my own sanctuary
I love this house. I wish I could just rip it up exactly the way it is and set it on my foundation together with the pool...basically everything. As a single person this would be just perfect as I love space.
Every time I see these tiny houses I get so excited & feel inspired ,people put so much work into these homes & they truly come out so beautiful & unique . Less really is more 💕.
dude you are really working hard, I just discovered your channel like 3 weeks ago, and I've been been binge watching and I haven't run out of episodes yet lol
Great modern & functional design: house, pool, garden, outside-living, the whole ensemble. And I like the fact that the three horizontal windows, a design-feature that often is just a gimmick in a single room, is very functional here in giving every one of three kids sleep/play levels loads of light. Congratz on the 12 Million viewers last time + cheers on many more views to come!
Bryce and Rasa you’ve done it again! Yours is the channel I drop everything to watch. Your integrity and artistry combined is why you are growing so consistently I think. And of course all the fabulous tiny home owners who inspire us. Hugs xx
This has to be the cutest hoise you have ever showcased! It seems like the parents literally made every inch of it with the family in mind and not what it should be. Sooo cute! Truly inspired! Kudos to her dad for the book holder next to their beds, I think I need one for my husband 😃
Best small home channel on the net - love every episode. And Bryce being such a warm, genuine host - he is just the icing on the cake. Simply Awesome! 👍
Also the 2 beds above a newborn's crib! Like it's cool looking but what if it all collapses??? And how does the mom get up there to change the sheets? What if the kids have a nightime accident, could you imagine squeezing up there to pull soiled sheets off?!
They didn’t show the family drill of kicking out the window & rolling into the pool in case of fire! Lol! The baby is on her own! Haha! Notice the cat stayed RIGHT by the exit!
with the great design iq shown in the planning, i doubt they have forgotten things as basic as fire protection. I'm pretty sure they considered it on the design.
I believe this will work as a backup place for their parents in the future, when they need monitoring, that way they can still have privacy living in the big house and take care of them at the same time, they are just using it now to pay their morgage faster.
Yes! Here’s how to get what you want: stay in school, postpone kids, get marketable job skills, save, don’t buy lots of junk, do without some things you want, don’t eat out, budget. You will be a success! Go for it!
@@TheJttv Way too black. Maybe in a different color but man image how hot it must get. I do like that it looks like a Sand Crawler but its not for me. This one is light and comfortable looking. 400 grand is the only thing that doesn't fit. If you divide that by 300 for the house and 300 sf for the pool its 600+/- bucks per sf?? Dang someone robbed this couple. At the most in my area its like 400 bucks per sf. and that's top of the line finishes. This house should have been around 100 grand and the pool around 50 grand with the spa . That would be max(150 +/-). They did say they did work on the main house so maybe that was 250 grand?
@@Betazeno the last one was way more open, tall and roomy and had a usable second bed. Plus a better porch and better bathroom. Not saying I hate this one, but I think the last one was better.
@@TheJttv The last one seems more cramped to me. For sure the kitchen and Living on this one is much more open. The other house is bigger overall so it has a better bedroom. This one has a weak bedroom for sure because its trying to fit 3 bedrooms in the space for 1. They both have tall ceilings and yes the "2nd & 3rd bedroom" on this one is for specific size children. But if you turned this one into a one bedroom instead of 3 bedroom and used the 2nd bedroom space in the bedroom it would be an amazing 300 sf home. The porch I also don't agree. I prefer the roofed porch from this one. The quotes are because even though cool the kids bedrooms are too tiny. They may work for a couple years but they will grow out of them quick. The bathroom would have been better with the door but that's minor. Also, they should have just used a regular couch instead of the built in that they are using as a head rest.
It might not be a tiny house but it does exhibit quite a few clever ideas that can be used in tiny houses. I can see there not being enough bedrooms in a few years though!
PixelatedPaul I was thinking that too, then realized they could lose their high vaulted ceiling and the girls could easily each have a room upstairs they would easily grow into
excellent example of "living big in a tiny house"! It seems to combine modern with a feel of big space given the designs ability to transform and invite outdoors, sunlight and so on; even though it is technically a smaller design than traditional detached homes.
@@Juliet39300 exactly! The only person who was listening to the video actually. This lot has 2 houses and they are renting the bigger one right now which helps them pay down the mortgage. They can also move into the big house and rent the small one if need be and get less money but more space. GENIOUS
Hi lovely. What a dream house. The pool is amazing. And the children’s rooms. Are so sweet. Lovely couple. And the children are gorgeous. And very lucky to have such caring parents. 😊🙏
I said the same thing on another vide and one guy got so offended ! he told me : if you wanna live in trash and scavenge the dumpster go ahead some people want more from their lives!!!! 🤯🙄 I still hv not come across a cost effective tiny house which is made of dumpster trash I don't know why he got so angry!??? anyway this was more of a minimalistic approach than cost effective! beautiful anyway ❤
I was actually thinking the same thing. But by estimate from comparing the yard size with the other one behind theirs I think the tenants just have a small yard as opposed to no hard with the landlord's house and pool there. It's like they built their house in the far corner of the property away from the house and fenced it in with a live decorative fence so the main house has a fairly small yard but still large enough to hang out and play in and a smaller driveway but they should get little to no interaction unless it's sound carrying far.
It looks to me like a capital play: when the time comes, I suspect they will sell the property as a house with pool and granny flat/cabana. They have effectively improved the property into the $1.2 - $1.5million category. By aggressively paying down the mortgage now in the current low interest environment, they will end up with more than enough to buy another house with larger bedrooms for the girls as they grow to school age.
Son unas hermosas casitas bebés, las Tiny house , qué bella está esta casita y el espacio para las niñas, hermoso diseño, y la piscina!!!. Felicitaciones, gracias amigo por compartirnos este video con ideas maravillosas.

This is an excellent solution. They were able to downsize, keep their original property and turn the main house into a source of income. I am doing pretty much the same thing on a less extravagant scale. I live in a 400 sq, ft. Studio behind the main house, which I have listed as a short term rental.
When I watch these videos, I always imagine myself living in the houses. This one is gorgeous.
make a small space for kids. but big pool is a must!
i'm very happy you do some tiny houses not on wheels, please continue :)
Yup, we feature all kinds of small homes and downsized designs. :)
She won't be able to get in her room in like 2 years
How annoying would it be to make the girls’ beds? I know, first world problem🤷🏽♀️
I love the innovation, but @13.30 “when you’re tight on space...” Really? They’ve skimped on living/bedroom space...BUT wait! There’s a big pool with a spa?

@Carley You are the palest thing I have ever seen, holy shit you look dead
Hahaha. Glad you liked it Riley!!! That play space was just such a cool idea, I had to! :)
I agree! One of the best tinies I've ever seen!
A great home, suitable for a tropical/hot climate. My only concern is the play area underneath the bed. What if the hinges fail and fall over the kids. Otherwise! Good layout!
That's what I was thinking!!
What if your car gave out on you tomorrow on the highway? Are you going to let it rust in the driveway just in case? Or are you going to take every precaution to make sure that doesn’t happen so you can drive safely?

they hit the nail on the head. not only design/use of space, but a brilliant investment.

Every time I see these tiny houses I get so excited & feel inspired ,people put so much work into these homes & they truly come out so beautiful & unique . Less really is more 💕.
It's beautiful. I love the use of open spaces. They knew how to make something small look vast and aesthetically pleasing.

Lol. They practically live inside a closet
Honestly I would sleep in the living room area by the kitchen
Great modern & functional design: house, pool, garden, outside-living, the whole ensemble.
And I like the fact that the three horizontal windows, a design-feature that often is just a gimmick in a single room, is very functional here in giving every one of three kids sleep/play levels loads of light.
Congratz on the 12 Million viewers last time + cheers on many more views to come!
Usually don't pay much attention to subtitles, however, 6:08 makes me chuckle!
Apart from the tiny kids' room, this is the best tiny home I've ever seen on this channel. Amazing!
I love the bean bag couches & how you can watch a movie in the pool. 😍

Bryce and Rasa you’ve done it again! Yours is the channel I drop everything to watch. Your integrity and artistry combined is why you are growing so consistently I think. And of course all the fabulous tiny home owners who inspire us. Hugs xx
Thank you for your lovely comment Julie!
This has to be the cutest hoise you have ever showcased! It seems like the parents literally made every inch of it with the family in mind and not what it should be. Sooo cute! Truly inspired! Kudos to her dad for the book holder next to their beds, I think I need one for my husband 😃
Clever design to using all space valuable, especially the 3 level bed. lovely house. thank you.
This couple is adorable! How smart of them to rent out their home and build the pool and the home, in the back! I love that pool!
Best small home channel on the net - love every episode. And Bryce being such a warm, genuine host - he is just the icing on the cake. Simply Awesome! 👍
Aw, thank you so much Nicky!
This home is a dream come true.
The play area underneath a bed looks like a really bad accident waiting to happen...
I thought the exact same thing. Like WTF...
Also the 2 beds above a newborn's crib! Like it's cool looking but what if it all collapses??? And how does the mom get up there to change the sheets? What if the kids have a nightime accident, could you imagine squeezing up there to pull soiled sheets off?!
@@Ninabeana1313 exactly! It would be a nightmare and total pain in the ass.

This is truly living big. Even the best of small things require great planning.
I would be concerned how the children would get out of the bedroom if there was a house fire.
Yessss
They didn’t show the family drill of kicking out the window & rolling into the pool in case of fire! Lol!
The baby is on her own! Haha!
Notice the cat stayed RIGHT by the exit!
with the great design iq shown in the planning, i doubt they have forgotten things as basic as fire protection. I'm pretty sure they considered it on the design.
It is SO claustrophobic!
Tell me why I was just thinking the same thing!
when that girl reach puberty she will grow from that house like Alice in Wonderland.
They had bigger house which was being rented while staying in that tiny home. Pretty much they will be moving back once their kids get bigger.
I believe this will work as a backup place for their parents in the future, when they need monitoring, that way they can still have privacy living in the big house and take care of them at the same time, they are just using it now to pay their morgage faster.
One day I will build my own tiny home.

Nah last video was better minus the pool
Love, love, love it! It's more functional than my 648 sqft. It's perfect!

Amazing.
A small house with so much storage space and natural lighting.
Well thought our plan and is very clean. 👌
WOW if I could pick a tiny to live in it would be this one, it is so open and functional
My favorite thing about tiny houses is the customization! Everyone’s house is always so different ❤️
you can still customize a normal size house. people do it all the time.
This design w/ pool, windows, indoor:outdoor is BRILLIANT!!!!!!
It might not be a tiny house but it does exhibit quite a few clever ideas that can be used in tiny houses. I can see there not being enough bedrooms in a few years though!
PixelatedPaul I was thinking that too, then realized they could lose their high vaulted ceiling and the girls could easily each have a room upstairs they would easily grow into
They could always move back into the big house if needed and rent the tiny house.
300 sqft is a tiny house anything under 400 is considered tiny.
It's a tiny house
@@GlamourNNail - I'd bet they wouldn't consider that even in the direst of circumstances.
I dream of having my own tiny house when I grow older. It's so interesting to plan a space so small, so meticulously.
Me too, these videos excites me about building my own house in the future 🤗
excellent example of "living big in a tiny house"! It seems to combine modern with a feel of big space given the designs ability to transform and invite outdoors, sunlight and so on; even though it is technically a smaller design than traditional detached homes.
When that girl gets to 13-16 good luck keeping her in a closet.. lol
Yeah ... I've got to agree with this comment. It's great for 2 people but for a family of 4... Not so practical.
They said that they are working on plans for the future. This house was a investment in the future, they just need to live in it to pay for it.
No not a problem. As they have said the front house is theirs and currently rental. They can move back to it and rent the back 😀.
@@Juliet39300 exactly! The only person who was listening to the video actually. This lot has 2 houses and they are renting the bigger one right now which helps them pay down the mortgage. Hi lovely. What a dream house. The pool is amazing. And the children’s rooms. Are so sweet. Lovely couple. And the children are gorgeous. And very lucky to have such caring parents. 😊🙏
People that pay so much for a tiny home defeats the purpose of why people need a tiny home
Lets face it its a pool home
Also face the fact that they weren't getting anything cheap with them living in Sydney
True... but i still want it.. someday
People can build anything they like and can afford. It’s tiny.
They said they wanted a minimalist house, they did not build it to save money. They are rich.
I said the same thing on another vide and one guy got so offended !
he told me : if you wanna live in trash and scavenge the dumpster go ahead some people want more from their lives!!!! 🤯🙄
I still hv not come across a cost effective tiny house which is made of dumpster trash I don't know why he got so angry!???
anyway this was more of a minimalistic approach than cost effective! beautiful anyway ❤
Don't know how I would feel my landlords literally living in my backgarden lol.
Same so odd and they have a pretty huge home , the size of a normal home but there kids don’t get a proper room or play space.
moral of the story: you don't need a big house to be happy. You do need a huge swimming pool though
Best UA-cam channel hands down .Man 😘 just keep up the good work .
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoy our videos. Thanks for watching!
The guy is silent most of the time thinking about the Mortgage 😂
Yeah, "I paid $400k for a broom closet of a house?" They'll be back in the big house in no time, haha!
They’re renting their main house….& they’re clearly bringing $ in.
5:07 Sydney looks absolutely beautiful!
The great thing is that they still own the big house, as well. A Win-Win if they want a larger space and to move back.
One of the girls are school age!?
Investment play
Not everyone wants a standard nuclear home. I understand the investment side here, but nothing suggests they want to go back to big living
To be honest in Sydney even without the pool and granny flat, a full sized house with its own land will be in the $1.2-1.5 million dollar range
firew0rrior They can’t stay there. That torture chamber of a bedroom for the girls will not work in a year or two.
