I enjoyed the video so much. The home is so well thought out and meets so many needs. (And it's so calming.) We also live in a large house because we built it during the busy years of raising five kids. Three of the five have moved back in with us (or plan to) briefly to get graduate degrees or to save money for a year before moving out on their own. Hopefully the grandkids will enjoy the house next!

I wish I could temporarily adopt a student to help me design the interior of my Sshed. I am taking my time and trying my best but most of my materials (commercial level /very inexpensive) come from Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore. I have to work with the Supplies that come my way. YES, she does have a fantastic eye. I am amazed @ the way people can envision that level of quality. The circadian lighting is on pointe🩰💯❤.

I agree. I would immediately buy this one. Use the daughter's room as a library and walk-up closet (+ a single bed) + the son's room as a guest bedroom. With the home office single bed, one couple and 2 solo people could stay overnight, besides myself. I would add a sitting tub/shower combo and maybe a second toilet in an out-house. Otherwise I'd take it just as it is!

I would never want to live in a house like that. I need a lot more space to feel comfortable. And perhaps even more important is the issue of ceilings. They are extremely low!

Blowing the budget on this dream tiny home was worth it. This is Cherie's home and she owns it. And she can take it with her wherever she goes. It is absolutely beautiful, detailed and well thought out. It is amazing. Having a washing machine and dryer built in was such a good idea. @@marklaruffa9586 would only need an osom permit, unregistered vehicle permit, and to be towed by a truck with appropiate towing capacity. Alternatively, just get an osom permit and move it with a supertilt. And besides the legalities, she seems quite happy with where her house is currently😊
@thepaddockengineer OSOM is only for over size load on legal registered vehicles there is no permits for over size vehicles as in this case tiny home on wheels, over width and over weight, if you load it on a load loader then get a OSOM that is fine however then you would be well over legal height of 4.3m requiring a special permit costing $$$$$ you need to learn the rules not just guess.
Yes, I think it's hard for most people to imagine the wonderful effect a dark ceiling or dark walls can give. They are cozy, and at the same time they almost disappear, so you have an impression of infinite space. We used a dark chocolate brown in our guest room and it was so inviting. I once did a deep blue study for a client, and he really loved it as well.
@@chezmoi42 On a subconscious level (which we cannot control) people associate the floor with the ground and the ceiling with the sky. And to see dark sky is psychologically uncomfortable for most people, just like in cloudy weather when there are lots of dark clouds in the sky. We don't like it. Therefore, a dark ceiling will cause psychological pressure, even if a person does not pay attention to it or doesn't realise it at all.
@@chezmoi42 I'm a very (!) sensitive person. And it is enough for me to see such an interior on the screen to realise how I would feel in it. As for the dark walls, I inherited a flat with all the furniture in dark brown and I repainted it all in light colours because I was in a bad mood looking at it.

Stunning home in every sense. The master bedroom/study is just so well thought out and cozy. It's amazing to see how tinyhouse design has improved and progressed over the last few years especially as it relates to THROW's. And, what can be achieved with a clear , well thought out vision from the owner. Its also wonderful to see that Cherie, and I'm sure many others, have drawn on inspiration from other tinyhouse owners who have featured on 'Living Big In A Tiny House' which is a testament to the work Bryce has done in promoting this type of living. It would be great to have a bit more information on foundation type, energy use and source, passive house solutions etc.

I'm totally blown away with this one. Three bedrooms, office, and a hugh kitchen, you don't see that all the time. The colors, designs, quality, and fixtures are just stunning. Listen, I do Not believe the color of her kitchen makes it look small, for it is huge, with Plenty of storage. The office in the bedroom I love. Her son/guest bedroom is nice. Her daughter bedroom is hugh. That bathroom is gorgeous, with a washer and dryer. The cooper touches are wonderful. Positioning of the windows, the staircases, lighting etc.,. I really like her reading area. I would be reading/daydreaming all day, would Not get anything done 😀. The land/trees are an extraa bonus. I'm sure the addionals, she will add later on will only enhance the overall beauty of everything. She has Truly done a fabulous job of creating this tiny for her and her children. And when she becomes an empty nester, no telling what she will do with the additional space, she has a good eye for details, she is quite creative. She kind of favors actress Cortney Cox to me. Tfs.

This is my favourite so far, I could move in tomorrow. Well Done Cherie for having the vision and then making it become a reality. I love how she has cleverly designed all those bedrooms and sleeping spaces as well as the window seats, the seat that becomes a guest bed is a genius idea. I missed this recent upload after a medical emergency in the family but then I'm glad I have a video to catch up on after those stressful days. The intro music alone is always so nostalgic + the videos in this channel are uplifting. It's always been a part of my go-to destresser.
The word which comes to mind is 'warm'. As Sheree stated herself, multiple times, warmth was a message to be conveyed. She did a great job. I love the low lighting, the warmth of the colors in the kitchen/living area, it's simply beautiful. The land where it sits is equally as beautiful. ❤🌱🍀🌳🌻

It would be great to have a bit more information on foundation type, energy use and source, passive house solutions etc.

I'm totally blown away with this one. Three bedrooms, office, and a hugh kitchen, you don't see that all the time.
The colors, designs, quality, and fixtures are just stunning.
Listen, I do Not believe the color of her kitchen makes it look small, for it is huge, with Plenty of storage. The office in the bedroom I love. Her son/guest bedroom is nice. Her daughter bedroom is hugh. That bathroom is gorgeous, with a washer and dryer. The cooper touches are wonderful. Positioning of the windows, the staircases, lighting etc.,. I really like her reading area. I would be reading/daydreaming all day, would Not get anything done 😀. The land/trees are an extraa bonus. I'm sure the addionals, she will add later on will only enhance the overall beauty of everything.
She has Truly done a fabulous job of creating this tiny for her and her children. And when she becomes an empty nester, no telling what she will do with the additional space, she has a good eye for details, she is quite creative. She kind of favors actress Cortney Cox to me.

This is my favourite so far, I could move in tomorrow. Well Done Cherie for having the vision and then making it become a reality. I love how she has cleverly designed all those bedrooms and sleeping spaces as well as the window seats, the seat that becomes a guest bed is a genius idea. I am saving this as this is what I aspire to for my own home. Look forward to you revisiting when she has the decking and has possible changed the dining area.
She is the luckiest lady in the world. I'm not jealous. But proud she did it with her designs. I've been so overwhelmed. I was excited in the beginning. But now I wish I done things modern. I live in 900sq ft mobile home. I'm mortgage free. My health has put a damper on my diy idea's.

The word which comes to mind is 'warm'. As Sheree stated herself, multiple times, warmth was a message to be conveyed. She did a great job. I love the low lighting, the warmth of the colors in the kitchen/living area, it's simply beautiful. The land where it sits is equally as beautiful.

Dear Bryce it is indeed a fantastic place for an exceedingly inexpensive cost, seriously. And I absolutely love 💗💗💗 the use of lighting I too have always extended window sills. It always struck me as a wasted opportunity. The downstairs is exquisite. The only niggle I have is I'd have done the Japanese wood treatment over the entire surface. And her local is as exquisite as her home. Thank you as always...
