Your home is beautifully designed for how you use it: as a short term rental and as an in-law-flat. Smart. Good accessibility. I will suggest installing a hand rail for the entry steps though. We all need a little support 😊. Thanks for sharing!
I agree, having a Tiny on wheels is the best long term idea. It future proofs your investment. This is a beautiful and practical little home away from home and I really love the minimalist design. Well done!
a vacation home in a warm weather climate in a tiny home friendly city on your own property - did I miss anything - glad this works for you - thnx for sharing 🇨🇦🙏
Yay! Go Bills🎉 I had a favorite tiny home a few months ago… And now I found a new favorite. This is absolutely gorgeous and so well thought out. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Love the outdoor space; especially the skirting. Viewing the interior wood as a better option than traditional walls. Would prefer the downstairs bed to be a convertible sofa unit or Murphy bed.
Lovely design. The aesthetic choices are timeless and make it feel light and larger than it is. The only thing I'd change is the TV placement. But that's just a pet peeve I'm being nitpicky about haha
Lovely home with really smart details! They can do a loootttt with it. And as a fellow tall, I appreciate when there's no mandatory hunching or ducking. Well done!
I would install some type of accordion wall to open and close to separate the kitchen from the sleeping area. I would also put up some type of canopy over the outside sitting area. I'm sure all that nice outdoor furniture gets wet during the rain.
Oh such a beautiful outdoor area , & what a great idea to hide the chasie area. The only thing I don't care for is a ladder to get to the loft, rather have has a step system, everything else looks not to bad at all i myself would have added some color as well to break up the wood tone. .
So Lovely 💃🏽🗽🌃❤️🔥!Had My 2nd Home🏡 🍑In Stone Mountain, 20 Years Ago! Back Home In Our Paid Off Brownstone In Brooklyn, NY. My Next Dream Home Is A Loft Or Ecclectic Tiny Home.
Seating four people “comfortably” around that table seems like a bit of a stretch, but it's a cozy setup! I love the black accents and the wood-it's totally my style. By the way, I'm totally getting that screw game.
We met and stayed there, and found them to be very sincere about the use of their tiny home as flex space and had already been used extensively by their visiting parents to help them with their little kids. While we mostly share tiny home dwellers, we do also like to showcase design ideas.
I’m 78 years old and would need a bar or grip to hold on to coming down from the bed. It’s an accident waiting to happen. I’m strong and very fit, but I wouldn’t trust myself coming down from the bed at night to use the bathroom. It’s a simple fix. The bar or grip could be something decorative.
Thank you for this video! I am also wanting to purchase a THOW and park it in Atlanta. Is there anyway you can connect me with the homeowners? I would love to know how they were able to get everything permitted. I sent you an email as well.
We enjoy showcasing the many uses of tiny homes, like a part-time granny flat, and the many approaches to small space design. But overall we showcase tiny home dwellers in the vast majority of our videos 🙃
We dig that idea! In our A-frame cabin, we’re thinking of changing out our shower curtain for a set of bi-fold glass doors; that could work well here 😁
If you planning on aging parents to live there permanently in the future, they are going to have problems getting in and out of that bed! Otherwise, it’s a really great home!
I can not see this home work for a couple! One wakes before another, and then what ? No privacy! Two ! What's the partner mean ? In business? Crime? I don't get it ..sorry 😕
It depends on the couple. We lived in our tiny house for almost 7 years where the only closing door was to the bathroom. Yes, the loft bedroom did have a slight since of separation. But this was built mainly to be used an in-law suite/granny flat for visiting grandparents. So one of them can always walk over to the main house for coffee in the main house. We stayed in this tiny house for a few nights; it wasn’t an issue for us because we on the same sleep schedule. By “partner”, he referring to someone’s spouse, girlfriend/boyfriend, or committed partner (you’ve been a long time but are not married). 🙂
The main purpose of this tiny house is an in-law suite because both sets of grandparents live far away, and Marc & Kat wanted a comfortable way to host them for extended visits to see/help with their young kids. It’s rented part-time on Airbnb to pay for itself
Why are you so angry about people spending their money the way they want to? Do you realize this doesn't take away from people using these as affordable housing? There are enough tiny homes to use them for whatever people want to use them for. Please use your energy to build your wealth instead of being angry that other people have it. You'll be happier. I wish you well.
Tiny houses as extra income. Not a bad idea, however it seems to me that the people I'm seeing on this channel are already making plenty of money. Kinda not the original concept behind Tiny Houses.
We showcase a huge variety of tiny homeowners on channel that come many walks of life and income levels. Just a couple weeks ago, we shared a family of 4 who built their starter tiny home for $20k 😅

Well thought out tiny home with multiple uses. Love the king size bed and spaciousness.
Beautiful house and I love the outside area of the house. Minimalisum is the best thought of Japanese.
Yay! Go Bills🎉

That skirting is soo pretty & clever! We’re thinking about doing that around our tiny house 😊
Lovely design. The aesthetic choices are timeless and make it feel light and larger than it is.

Gorgeous property
Love it 👍

Very tasteful 😊

Solid point! Totally agree on the dreamy color combo. 👌😍 And Screw Jam is surprisingly satisfying & addictive 😂
Is it difficult to get zoning to allow a tiny home on your property in the city? When you already have a home on the property?
You got this to Airbnb it. End of.
Yes! And I feel the whole video is an ad for their Airbnb. Not the usual for this channel
We met and stayed there, and found them to be very sincere about the use of their tiny home as flex space and had already been used extensively by their visiting parents to help them with their little kids. While we mostly share tiny home dwellers, we do also like to showcase design ideas.

That’s a great point and simple solution! 💕
Your home is lovely 🌞.
JO JO IN VT 💞
Daaaamnnn he's so handsome
Yes he is!
If you say so....sheesh! Must be a shortage of hunks in your area. Heh heh
Goals!
Beautiful, but not having a chair seems like a nightmare for your back. Minimalism is fine, but don't make it unhealthy for you.
Wow
Thank you for this video! I am also wanting to purchase a THOW and park it in Atlanta. Is there anyway you can connect me with the homeowners? I would love to know how they were able to get everything permitted. I sent you an email as well.
I often wonder what people do with these outdoor cushions in winter.
Apart from no comfortable seating inside nice ascetic though
It's just so nice to see tiny houses that nobody lives in. Maybe a tour of your hotel room would be comparable for the next video.
We enjoy showcasing the many uses of tiny homes, like a part-time granny flat, and the many approaches to small space design. But overall we showcase tiny home dwellers in the vast majority of our videos 🙃
Shame no separation of the bed to the cooking and odors.
It's a nice concept at least
We get that. 🙂 That's why the oven hood and opening window by the sink are so important
It's lovely but 2 glass doors to the shower would have been perfect, just saying❤
We dig that idea! In our A-frame cabin, we’re thinking of changing out our shower curtain for a set of bi-fold glass doors; that could work well here 😁
For 100,000 bucks I could buy a real house. DANG!
You definitely can’t in Atlanta 😅
If I was renting I'd rather have a W/D! Luggage under the bed
Not everybody can walk up steps easily.
Family BOUGHT a tiny house
Excuse me 😂 I hear you! Often people say build/built, meaning they had one built 😉
If you planning on aging parents to live there permanently in the future, they are going to have problems getting in and out of that bed! Otherwise, it’s a really great home!
110k for that thing. Nah...

Tiny “House” OR Tiny Investment Property? Kinda sickening when good ideas for affordable housing becomes just another money grab.
The main purpose of this tiny house is an in-law suite because both sets of grandparents live far away, and Marc & Kat wanted a comfortable way to host them for extended visits to see/help with their young kids. It’s rented part-time on Airbnb to pay for itself
People can invest their money whichever way they want. Nothing is stopping you from building your own tiny home and living in it.
Why are you so angry about people spending their money the way they want to? Do you realize this doesn't take away from people using these as affordable housing?
