Thanks again for the information. I am still deciding on what unit to get. I have five or six hairpieces now that I’m still using, but I like the LaVida. Hair systems. Thanks again from USA.

I’ve been wanting to check this out cuz I HATE buying hair systems so frequently. I don’t have much money to spend, so it’d be optimal for me to buy this one system and keep it up as long as possible buying it no more than twice a year

Give it a try! I’ll be getting mine cut in probably in the next 4-5 months when my next one runs out. Looking forward to it

I end up buying a system once a month and it's getting very expensive. The issue is rarely the base but rather the actual quality of hair which as it needs repeated washing, product to tame it ( has a tendency to be puffy, even after several washes and the way the hair it stitched or V looped in means that the hair never truly has a natural appearance. The hair inevitably sheds, loses colour - I'm against wearing hats as figure whats the point as the reason we choose to wear hair is that we missed it in the first place so why on earth would one don a cap or beanie ? Also no way systems last for 4 months plus as product build up tends to matt the hair together and it loses it's shine and looks like straw after this period of time. Also wearing lace becomes impossible to clean given the adhesive seeps through the tiny holes and reaches the base of the hair which causes infinite problems. Lace is good for the first couple of weeks then after that say goodbye to a revealed hairline or wearing it with any high degree of confidence .

@@momentoftruth9827if it is V looped, it must mean it is an ultra thin skin, right? I currently use these myself and they are amazing, but very delicate. I wore one on holiday and it's shed noticeably in one week.
Although I love the super thin skin, I think I'm going to have to buy thicker next time. But I currently have three UTS in the cupboard!

Tbh i get 5-6 months out of the Neo Units from Hair lord. They are part Poly perimeter and mostly lace everywhere else.
Dont have silk pillow either, cause those will cause face wrinkles.
Dont get any shedding. But also i dont where it every night. Sometimes i just throw it on with a hood if im going to the gym or chillin at home all day

i'm interested to hear how this holds up. Given its a lace front and that's normally where it normally wears out first on the poly/lace front combo

In terms of installation I take it tape is the best method as you got the poly perimeter and lace front,in terms of the actual base with the mesh layer I’m assuming you can’t put tape on that area how did you install you Tyler mate

Regarding the system I did recently come across a silk system and was really curious about it. Thanks for the inside scoop! I'll have to give it a try and you know I'll be plugging in Adam15 in that discount code box! 😊

What good is twelve months of durability if the hair is bleached after a month in the summer sun???
I only wear super fine swiss without poly, often caps in summer to protect the hair, and change the system after four month. That makes three pieces per year, 77€/83,70$ per month.

Hi how does this system last longer then others? I'm currently wearing the Ares system and it's literally lasted 5 weeks and I'm having to replace it, the hair just seams to constantly be coming out when I brush it, I'm doing all the correct maintenance etc, but I'll be honest I'm not that Impressed with how well it's lasted, it looks great it feels great but hasn't lasted, so what I'm curious about is how this lace system differs from the rest what makes it last longer?? Thanks

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  10 місяців тому

Hi Craig, I spoke to LaVivid and they said this:
Tyler has a 3-layer structure. First, we ventilate the hair one by one into the middle layer that is the lace base which is the 'swiss silk' in the picture. Then we inject each hair one by one into the 'Floss silk' which appears like people's scalp. So it is much stronger than a single layer of lace or skin.
      I hope that helps!

    • @HairSystemDIY

Definitely should be fine on brown skin as the lace at the front will match with the colour of the hair on the system

Strangely, Lavivid told me to stick with the great Helios that I’ve been using for some time now. It does start shedding after a few weeks however I’ve been getting better about being more gentle with it, changing it out more often so I’m not itching too much, wearing a satin sleep cap at night, etc. Also, I think it is important not to shampoo too often. For me, the full lace feels light and so cool and comfortable, other than some itching after a few days, but it seems like my skin is getting a lot more used to it now. Did you get the Tyler cut in yet?
