    Your hair system is the BEST on I've seen so far. You really can not tell you have a system on. And the hair style is absolutely perfect for you. I want to copy it just as you have yours. Also, the hair quality looks much nicer. It doesn't look dry or like it's burned with a hair dryer or styling tools. Fantastic job! (Love your accent :)

    I really like that Hybrid System with the three layers and the poly perimeters i like better because it gives you a better and stronger base to secure your Hair. When you take off your Hair it makes me want to get a new Hair System now.

    I like some Caps that have Lace and Mono patches on the top and back because it gives you a more realistic Scalp. And you can part your Hair and have a better Scalp.

      I'm 57 and thus have a fair amount of gray hair. A 365 is a pretty good match. I took a look and sadly their stock systems only go to a 345 I believe. Might have to go the custom route for this one, which always stinks as it takes so long for custom systems. Might be worth it for this longevity though. It really does look great on you.

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  3 місяці тому +1

      @jimwarrick custom route can be a really good choice especially if you’re in your 50s. The wait is a bit annoying but you do get a better system

    Great review, so thank you .
    It's just a shame it had more width pu on the sides as im sure from my template it would cut the pu off the side's if you know what I mean. But otherwise, what a fantastic unit

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  3 місяці тому +1

      Glad it was helpful! The silk is about 5 inches wide so if you bald area is larger than that then there will be PU on the side

    I have frontal fibrosing scarring alopecia, which, unlike male pattern baldness the hair loss is linear, which is ear to ear, loss of temple hair and fringe, about 2” all over. My hair has stopped falling out, but doesn’t look right and unfortunately transplant is out of the question due to the scarring. This sounds like it might be a solution for me. How would I prepare what’s left of my hair to accommodate the system? Are there any system stylist to visit to get things moving before I started doing it myself? Your videos have really inspired me to. Thank you.

      This would require more than just an answer from me in the comments box as your situation is quite nuanced. If you’d like a one on one half hour discussion with me about this, the info for this is in the description box 😊

    seriously considering trying this - I've always used poly with a lace front so I'm used to a lace front but normally attach with glue on the poly. How do you find the fit when you have no adhesive on the silk area? I would be concerned about it feeling loose and not tight to the head. And really interested to see how long it will actually last in practice.

    Hi Adam, just a quick question. Have you ever been in hospital whole wearing the hair system? I recently was taken in for 6 days, got a little panicked as system started to loosen. My wife is a nurse at the hospital, but most of her colleagues dont know i wear a system. Any thoughts with being in hospital with a system?

      I’ve had multiple surgeries in hospital including staying over night. Was absolutely fine 😀 You could always wear a hat if it’s super loose

    i just ordered my tyler system . i’m using ares right now . i saw that there’s an extra layer protecting the lace in the middle. i’m scared to cut the base and ruim the system and the second layer . any tips ? i cut my ares with a sharp razor but it wasn’t a perfect cut . also is this unit breathable? meaning can you feel water hitting your hair like the ares system ?

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  2 місяці тому +1

      Is it possible you can shave more of your bio hair to ensure you don’t have to cut the silk? My balding area is 6 inches wide, meaning I ended up just cutting into the poly to make it the right size for me. I wouldn’t advise cutting the silk personally

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  2 місяці тому +1

      Yes it’s very breathable. You can feel the water on your head

      @@HairSystemDIY thank you for your time in replying ! i measured my head from front to back and it’s 8 inches . for my sides is 5.5 inches so im guessing i have to shave an extra half an inch to make it 6x8 .

    Can you order systems with only the front part medium density and the top having light density to give a realistic look ? ie customise for the french lace or other lace systems

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  3 місяці тому

      Could you specify, not really sure what you're asking?

    • @afsar_gunner5271
      @afsar_gunner5271 3 місяці тому

      @@HairSystemDIY - Well every time you order a poly or lace companies mostly supply medium light density and NOT medium density ? so can u get a system with just the front part medium density (so that hairline not exposed) and the top part/crown part of the system with Light Density which gives a natural/realistic look. hope that explains :)

    • @HairSystemDIY
      @HairSystemDIY  3 місяці тому

      Ah! No not that I’m aware of, even with custom as far as I’m aware you can only get it in one density across the base.
