He even stopped doing this scream and most of his other screamed lines he simply sang or omitted from the performance entirely for a while. This is the first time hes been filmed doing anything resembling The grudge scream in a long time, glad to see.
Yeah I watched this specifically to hear if he still does the scream. I haven’t heard them live in about 20 years so I was disappointed because he did the full scream back then.
i saw them this year and the scream is back out of the song again unfortunately, im sure he fucked his voice up good by putting it back in for the early tour lmfao

Tool played a club I cooked at in Vancouver back in '94. I made their fruit and veggie platters. Original lineup with Paul D'Amour on bass. Maynard still had hair, and Danny was tall af. Appreciate... Thank you for this video I live in Iran and I can never see Tool up close, such a video was suitable for Tool band, without unnecessary zooming, it allows me to see wherever I want at the same time,The frame was completely perfect and smooth and most important thing the vision wall behind the band which is one of the most important parts of the performance, someone like you who takes such a video from Tool has understood the Tool manifest, although Tool is against the media, but this is the only way that people which located same as me on this Earth can see Tool's live performances.
I’ll be honest, every time I see a live video of ‘The Grudge’, the first thing that crosses my mind every time is; is Maynard gonna do the 23 second scream? Lol This was a different type of scream than what he used to do. But it was still great.
I've seen them 7 times here in Houston and their most recent visit was the first time he even screamed/yelled this part. We weren't expecting it but when he did it the place erupted.
