It’s quality footage but not tight at all, very sloppy playing. 7:10-7:25 is a mess!. They are great musicians but as someone who used to play bass in a band it’s such a risk playing live using delay effects. You have to be 100% spot on with your playing and the rest of the band has to be 100% in tune with what’s going on. They are constantly pushing themselves as a band put it takes hours of rehearsals to keep this music tight.
The bassist’s “air fucking” at 2:00 is on point. Solid form, good stroke, and hands back; perfection.
I think he's just stretching out his L3 - L5. Standing for long periods will do that to you.

Netflix had pro cameras at the Detroit show in 2019.
Metalica tapes every show. They post much of it on their UA-cam channel. They still sell out football stadiums.
That was pretty cool Adam came over and joined with Justin.
Watching this you can see how even their momentary, minor mistakes serve to prove their greatness. When they get out of sync at around 7:12 for about 10 seconds or so, the way they recovered (with Danny reorienting everyone) only further served to prove how good they are. Especially getting back in sync with such complex rhythms and time changes. These guys are brilliant musicians and true professionals. World class performers!

I flew to Arizona to reunite with my sister after 8 years . Got in a car ... we drove to Tacoma to the show.... Best vacations of my entire life for sure

I kind of like it when they make mistakes. They are usually small mistakes, not something that makes you cringe. Bands often improvise in live concerts, so this is not uncommon. I saw David Gilmour make mistakes performing Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Made me smile.
Listening to Tool is a spiritual experience for me, unlike any band out there these days. Four masters coming together to transcend what we think music can even be.

I was at the Dallas show on the 31st. Invincible is my favorite song from Fear Innoculum, I was happy they did it. Also one that people went to get a beer on because they came to hear the hits and apparently didn't get this album yet(?). It reminds me of all of us getting older, trying to remain relevant in an age where getting older is not really respected . I like the line "Weapons out and Belly in" & "Warrior struggling to remain relevant, warrior struggling to remain consequential". I can relate, at 3 years older than Maynard. This sounds excellent, btw. I loved watching Justin, the music really moves him. He jams hard.
Was at the same show, was excellent on all levels. Culling Voices may be my favorite new song but yours is an excellent choice, too. Ending the show with this 15 minute beast of a song was perfection.
I was also there. I balled my eyes out during Culling Voices cause it's my all time favorite Tool songs. I literally couldn't even fully watch cause the tears in my eyes. The confetti falling really made it hit even harder.

TO is the other side of the country from me and was working on a tv show so couldn’t take time off. Had tix to see them spring 2020 but obviously that didn’t happen:/ Not at all new to the party though I’ve seen them 6 times. Their 2017 tour did not disappoint!!
