But, later it was revealed that she just trying to get a reaction out of them. She just asked a nereby person who happened to see how much sugar Haruka was using. 2. In Y1V9, Hiyori was one of the 3 students who decided to save Ryuuen. 3. In Y1V11.5, Hiyori along with ryueen saw through that class B was the ideal target. She prepared a meeting with Ryuuen,used Ishizaki and ibuki so that Ryuuen doesn't reject her. Then she successfully guided Kaneda to choose class B. 4. In Y2V4,we can see that Hiyori was guiding the muscleheaded Ishizaki and nishino in the island exam. 5. In y2V4.5, Hiyori influenced Katsuragi by baiting him into conversation by using Ayanokoji. 6. In Y2V5,she literally manipulated Katsuragi to save Tokitou as she didn't want any expulsion which was the right choice. Bonus...... 1.She was the only student after koenji and Horikita Manabu,who saw through Ayanokoji without having large contact. 2. She actually genuinely loves Ayanokoji.

And correct, Hiyori exposed Kiyo for being x, and wanted Kiyo to talk to Ryuuen. That’s when he acted out of character and said something like “I could’ve defeated Ichinose WAY better than you.”

I've always thought of Hiyori as a moral compass for Ayanokoji and even for their class. She prioritizes making morally and ethically correct decisions for every school activity in ANHS.

Tbh out of all the female casts that have interacted with Kiyotaka and still remains pure is Hiyori Her relationship with kiyotaka reminds me of kiyotaka and suzune although not as close as that ofc It feels like they interact in an equal terms and share their own interests sometimes from time to time I hope she doesn’t get expelled and graduate along with kiyotaka even if she’s not the one for kiyotaka
I have a conflicting feeling of that last part since Hiyori is one of my favorite character. There's only 2 ways Hiyori could be expelled. An unexpected result in special exams or Sakayanagi wanting to cripple Ryuuen(just like how Nagomu want to expell someone close to Manabu).
my theory ( i am not up to date with the light novel ) : as u see there are so many white room students in the school so it could be for making kiyotaka completely unsupcious of a student who isnt from white room target him will be a good story line and it vould be that he has to decide to expell her or to not expell her as she is the only one kiyo dosent see as a pawn
