Imo it’s very unlikely that Koji will want the expulsion of Ichinose. On the contrary, I think he will lead class D and make Honami his right-hand . This will give it both the confidence of the students and the legitimacy to govern class D since Ichinose is highly appreciated. The other element that leads me to believe that Ichinose will be at Koji's service is that the latter said he has plans for her (y2 vol10) and that she could prove to be an even more interesting subject than Kei (so a romance could eventually be born). Finally, it has been more or less forshadowed that Kiyo and Ichinose would be together in the same class to reach class A (the VIP exam)

That's definitely a strong possibility. If Ryuuen wins by a small margin and, especially if Horikita makes it to Class A, it'll be key for Ayanokoji's class transfer. , If he can't win a transfer ticket, Ichinose might offer him 20 million points to join her class, revealing his intelligence to the whole school. Just finished 2nd year vol 10! Waiting for 11. The transfer of Koji is 100% haooening although theres room for surprises (but yeah is 90% probably that goea to ichinose). He stepping as a leader of a class for me is contradictory to his character tho so would very interesting to see how the all school changes when it haopens!
My personal Prediction : As I read the talk between sakayanagi and ayanokoji I think he is setting ichinose to lose/get expelled soo ichinose't class can buy him transfer ticket to their class keep in mind he keep metting up with them earning their trust they keep asking him for help and the number of students that he meets from ichinose't class keep incriseing and he did say at the talk with sakayanagi that its a matter of who breaks ichinose soo he has a plan for her
