Corgi restoration of Bedford van No. 422. Toy model cast.

The Bedford Van model is a very graceful and nice car. Meetoy began producing this model in 1956. It came in many varieties, including a glass version for transporting employees and a fire brigade version. I am renewing the version of the panel van, which was produced in the early 1960s. The two-color versions sell much better on the collector's market and reach higher prices. My model was complete, one tire was missing and the rest were rotten. I made new tires of black-dyed molding polyurethane. I painted the body in the colors that I liked the most in this model - yellow and blue - with a characteristic decal on the side. In addition, I also made a copy of the packaging in accordance with the original. Thank you for watching the movie, I publish videos with the repair of cars on UA-cam on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Between my cousins, brother, and self, we had scads of Bedford vans, but they were always the Dinky version, san glass. In all the years we pored over our catalogs, both Corgi and Dinky, on rainy days, I was never aware Corgi made the same vehicle!
