Dinky restoration of Daimler Ambulance No. 253. Toy model cast.

The Daimler Ambulance model was produced by the Dinky company in the years 1954 - 1964. The first units were painted in cream color and had no windshield. On the other hand, the copies from the 1960s had a plastic glass and were painted in white. To display subtitles in your language at the bottom of the movie, please press C on the computer or the three dots on the mobile phone in the movie. The first models also had smooth tires, so the possible replacement of hardened rubber is very simple, as normal O-rings can be used. However, these later models had tires with a tread. In today's movie, I show the renovation of two copies. One from the 1950s and the other from the 1960s. I make new windows for both, as well as full painting and tire replacement. I also made the graphics of the box consistent with the original and printed the packaging in a digital printing house. I would have been SO tempted to finish them both in the same colour since they both now have glass, and Code3 some ambulance stickers and some identity numbers... and maybe knocked up the back wall of an Emergency Entrance for a hospital, for them to sit on, together! Nice castings though.
