- Hey guys! Today we visit Gonzales, Texas! We will look around the historic Texas town & visit the famous "Come and Take It" cannon.

A spectacular history! I never knew about Gonzales. The bison are amazing, the museum was amazing. Thank you for sharing the adventure. Buckey's makes WAWA look like a Cumberland Farms! Safe travels and be well Brother. 😂😂😂👍

@@cameraman655 Buc'ees, thanks, I like it. Actually, I'm all in on convenience stores. When I saw Buc'ee's jerky case, I almost got apoplexy, or as the old folks used to say: "Apple plecksie" - wait a minute - I am the old folk!
Anyway, I still got enough teeth left to gnarl on some good jerky. Now I have reason # 764 why I hate living in (don't laugh) new jersey. Thanks for the info. and you have a fantastic weekend friend! 👍

Absolutely fascinating history! These are the things they never teach you in school, and you're unlikely to hear if you're not in the area. Also loved the bison, old pickup truck, and old gas station. Fantastic trip, and thanks for sharing!

That's a cool little town. My best friends parents live there and raise cattle. I would tag along when he went there to visit them. The town is full of history.

This was one of my favorites Dennis. Interesting and educational, with nice scenery thrown in. If ya ever get the chance a bit about the old German built stone fences would be of great interest to me. And Czech sausage, which for many Texans is almost a religion. A large number of pretty famous restaurant/smokehouses exist, with eating that is sublime. I know you have limited time and resources, and likely plenty already in your headlights, but if ya get the chance.

Very sweet. Have you ever gone to Fanning's battlefield? Not far from Goliad and on the way to Victoria. Ignacio Zaragoza was born in Goliad. Great history in that area.
