    One thing I never do, is approach customers loudly, especially in such a small area like the sprint store (even though ive never worked specifically for sprint) I feel like the best salesman I ever met always seemed to do 3 things. 1) Smile a lot. 2) Speak in a soft tone 3) LISTEN very carefully and hardly EVER break eye contact. that's what I do and im a selling fool.

    Sell the device first people....find out what they like in phone, what they use most, how heavy of a phone user they are....sell what the customer wants, but also balance budget. It can be tough, but establish a quick connection first. Then when you find a perfect phone, get them to the counter, do the app then discuss rate plan. Lots of good things here, but every salesman/lady is different...find your groove...also every region is different...demographics can be a factor in how you sell the device.

    The Different Approach to Sales Interaction as well as customer Rapport is important, similar to this video. A Professional way of Presentation of Products, goods and services, while explaining the details of Warranties support, for After sales. This came off as way to pushy. It reminds me of a door to door salesman. First things first, genuinely care about your customers. Talk to them and get to know them. After you have a basic understanding of their desires then you can offer recommendations on things that can actually benefit them. This guy sounds like someone who cares more about his wallet then his customers.

      Should have not worried about the cellphone breaking it was a ok attempt but didn't create enough urgency. He should have positioned it as a convenient solution.. If you WOULD have had this product you WOULD have had a phone once you moved into that new home 😊 but besides that we all know during times of emergencies like storms when the power goes out the first thing to go dead is our phone battery wouldnt you agree? This has a back up battery to insure you can stay connected with emergency responders and family in times of NEED. I'm sure that is something you can agree with? That's just my opinion I could be wrong 😊

      Whats insanely bizarre is that these customers go into the store for service. Its walk-up city. And Sprint still crashed!
      I have to find my customers at Targets and Walmarts. I close them, don't get me wrong. Its just this is so bad; if only he got the same training I did. And the rest of Sprint. Their sales teams would crush it.

    Your approach at the beginning was okay. You were a bit too repetitive when welcoming the customer. Sales pitch for the house phone was TRASH. If the customer is saying he isn’t interested in the home phone, you acknowledge him and pitch for the accessories. In fact, just mention the total of the phone and accessories like they are “packages”. How essential they are to use.

    He should've done his fact finding upfront in his initial rapport phase and kept asking questions as he was showing phones. The guy already had a check stapled to his forehead on for the phones transition bro move on to were the sale really is which is the home service. That he didn't ask for . If his wife cared what phone she had she'd been there. Spent too much time on that galaxy sale.

    @YuniorGamboa 5 років тому +3

    Sounds way too robotic like he has an AI in this ear telling him what to say. Also, you don't have to say" let me ask you a question" before asking a question, that gets irritating quickly.

  • @SMILEY007
    @SMILEY007 8 місяців тому

    Leave the “let me ask you a question” at home bud. I start my sales position next week. I know nothing about sales but I do know that if you say “let me ask you a question” the customers going to answer your “question” at a different provider. Who in the fuck says that. Ask them the question buddy. Be more personal. Start off with a nice greeting, notice the man’s ring? Ask him how long he’s been married, how many kids? Then follow up on that. Or compliment him on his car/truck and go from there. If they’re wearing a specific graphic shirt make a conversation on that. FIND COMMON GROUNDS. With that watch comment you could have created a whole conversation with the man on watches and what kind of technology he likes. Could have lied and acted like you have interest in watches, would have made the gentleman more comfortable. Also, don’t be afraid to use there name during the whole transaction. For example. Find out there name, create distance and let them browse your selections and while you’re at a distance act like you found a good match for them and call them over using there name, act excited. This creates almost a friend to friend connection. Be more energetic and engaging like you really want to help them out.
    Fake it till you make it
