I am about to finish my first month with Cellularsales! It’s supposedly been a slow month but I’ve made 5300 dollars in coms and I’m #1 on my team. Number one secret to my success so far has to be the fact that I refuse to lie to the customer!! Disclose everything!! I’m not saying that you need to tell them about a fee 30 times but I’ve already had return customers due to the fact that I set the expectations right out of the gate! I have metric tons to learn and so will you, so be sure to annoy your new colleagues with questions, but be sure to return the favor when you’re the senior rep!
Good job man, I actually got hired at Cellularsales to last month I've been coded for 3 weeks now and its been getting easier & its so many opportunities to make money here. Currently I'm just trying to hit my 4k minimum and halfway through the month I'm on pace for only 3500 so I'm trying to learn as much as I can and have a strong 2nd half of the month!

Congrats! Hope it works out for you, everybody's got to start somewhere. Capitalize on the opportunity and make it a goal to be the best at your store, stay hungry and help as many people as you can. Experience is invaluable, take this opportunity to boost that resume and more important boost your industry knowledge, comfortability, and confidence. Other opportunities will be there if you hustle and are hungry enough. Best of luck.
I interviewed with sprint on monday and they just emailed me for a second interview. I hope to god i get this job. It will really be a huge break for me if im successful.
Assume the sale. Don't ask "do you want a case" say instead "do you like this blue case, or this black one?".most importantly learn to mislead without lying. For instance if a customer creating a new line asks "can I get on a lower cost plan?" a lot of people would respond with "if you get on the unlimited plan the phone will cost you $20(or whatever the upgrade/new line price is) but if you get on the$30 plan full retail price for the phone is $120!". You didn't say that they will have to pay full retail price but nobody who doesn't do this all day doesn't catch stuff like that. I've actually toyed with the idea of being a "wireless consultant" Because I am familiar with all of the plans/pros/cons of all the different carriers and could direct people to the best plan/carrier (usually cricket wireless unless they are trying to get a phone, and even then about 6 months of every year they give their best phones away for free) and it would be a valuable service because most people really do get taken advantage of when they go to a cell phone store but it would never work as a business because they don't know that they are getting fucked....
When working for those major companies, which I'm guessing you have, could you give an ideal/minimum amount of sales/goals you had to reach each week? Aside from the minimum, could you also share some ways that you were able to be a high performer?
Your Mavs are looking great my friend, Doncic and Porzingis are abouta kill it!!! Thanks for the advice man, I'm trying to be great and move up just like you

I made 63k my first year at AT&T. Over time and close to 20k in commission. Started at 14.10 then went to 15.86 with the new union agreement. Now I’m around $17.50 after 14 months. You get raises every 6 months till you hit $19.XX. Assistant store managers make around 25 to $30 an hour. I think they base that off of how much you made off of commission being a rep. Directv and U-verse tv and internet are $65 each. New lines are $25. Upgrades, tablets and watches are $5 each. Pre paid and dtv now are $10 each. Insurance and accessories isn’t much. I never count that. They want you to maximize on every sale. They don’t want you to be a clerk. Main focus is growing the business. Selling tv, internet, business lines and first net lines for first responders. It’s not a bad company to work for if your good at your job.

I actually work for a Verizon Go Wireless Store. I wasn't much of a sales person, I had retail experience but not much in celluar. I just absorbed everything I could, I have been with my company almost 5 months and it's been such a blessing. Challenge yourself every day.
Don't think like that. Have a positive attitude. Just go in there and kick ass every day. Think and believe you're gong to win every day you step into the store. A negative attitude will get you nowhere. Don't say "I think", say "I will".
How did u get on? I start in 2 weeks and I am the same here but I have a positive outlook on the job. Hopefully I don't fuck up am more of a fix it guy myself
I love this video and I have been doing research on this as I am interested in an AT&T sales job. How much can you make and what is the average for retail sales with AT&T? if anyone could help that would be awesome
I'm trying to get a job at AT&T right now. What do you think are the average incomes the first year? How hard do you think it is to make 45k-50k? Thanks! I have never done sales before, been in charge of many customer service departments and have always been told I'm a natural salesperson.
If someone says you’re a natural sales person when you’re in a customer service role, that means you know how to talk to people and engage in a solid conversation with depth and direction, however that doesn’t guarantees sales, but is a good foundation for them. Find out who they are, find the needs and give them solutions. Ask value questions!!!
Hey I just recently got a job as a wireless specialist as a consultant. I have one question. What is the best tips for someone who has no experience with cell phones. Basically no tips on speaking to customers or making sales but better yet how do you obtain knowledge on the product and services your selling? Thank you. Nice video by the way
Get your hands on devices and dig in. There are plenty of tech sites and blogs to teach you specs of new devices but learning the ins and outs of the devices comes down to experience and just seeing it hands on. Hey man, I work for Verizon and I’ve been having a lot of issues closing a sale on NOT looking to buy people. Any advice? Also, how do I prevent rebuttals?
People NOT looking to buy, I wouldn’t try to pressure into buying. I would just ask some questions about what they currently use and what has them looking elsewhere (find pain points or wants that Verizon offers). Informing them and not pressuring them increases your chance they ask for you when they are ready (which could end up being that day)…If by rebuttals you mean objections, I would focus on the top 10 or so objections you hear and come up with ways to overcome them. The more you practice and role play overcoming those objections, the more comfortable you’ll be discussing in real time… There’s also some great content out there from people that have been overcoming objections for a long time, as well as content on building report /trust in a short sales cycle. Hope that helps.
What are some helpful tips to increase store traffic, convert leads into customers, and are there any tricks to avoid the time it takes to port a phone number.
rita manzo Great questions, and if I knew the exact answers to those exact questions I would have my own multibillion dollar business. My personal go to to increase traffic is to build my own flyers and gvet out of the Store to pass those out especially to apartment offices for new customer packs, income tax offices, etc. You can do outside events to get more visibility as well. Tricks to avoid long ports, you can call your port department to verify info is correct, outside of that it's out of your control. As for converting leads into customers, that's a whole seperate video (I might put on here to this evening and see what you think), a lot goes into that topic that is more than typing a quick reply. Thanks for watching.
Both GREAT books. Only advise I'd say to look the other way on with Uncle G is his advise to not diversify who you read and study. He claims you should pick 1 person and only use them, I disagree. But his attitude and motivation for sales is amazing and best part is HE IS ETHICAL and has morals.
Im in cellular sales. I barely break $200 in commission. The issue is trying to get a customer to stop and look. They just keep walking. No training is ever on this topic. How to get their attention and pull em to the table, after thee approach
Yeah I did and I know what to look for in the interview but I don't know what to expect for the phone call I have tomorrow. I was reading and it says they are two different things. so what happens in the phone call?
if its pre face to face phone interview its going to be a "can you hold a conversation", fill you out, 1st impression kind of thing. Wouldnt worry about tech side as much as selling yourself and just having a energetic positive attitude. good luck.
They come in for phones accessories ect ask about who they have for service then let them know the "savings" they can get if they bundle. The key to TV is bundle and savings always mention how much they can save
Iman Joneser sorry for the delayed response. That's freakin awesome about growth con man, Grants a great dude. I am in East Texas, Tyler and Longview area.
bryant how much are you getting paid? and I feel so dumb and confused when I'm trying to answer questions to customers. and using RQ. did you get used to it already? or am I just slow. lol
As with any job if you don't perform to expectation or greater, your tenure will be minimal. But if you are given the proper training, continued developement, proper expectation, and you are committed to being successful, you will hit your goals. I always determined the levels of my staff (A,B,C,D players) by their mindset and are they coachable, not as much on metrics. When I coach and evaluate I look for behaviors not results. If the behaviors are there, the results will reflect.
Scotty Raul I have worked for Sprint for the last 5 years and love my job. Our CEO Marcelo is doing some great things with company right now and is a great time to come on board. That being said I believe they are the top 2 companies in the game, you will be happy either route if you have the right mentality.
I work for cellular sales of Knoxville. I average 60k a year before tax. About to pick up team lead at new location. Great job. Not for the weak though
It's true, you can. You have to hustle your ass off though and be focused on your goals. There's no time for daydreaming or slacking. You want those sales and that money, you have to hustle hard for it. A positive attitude helps as well. If you're negative all the time, you're going to go nowhere.
Andrew Eaton Most I made selling in wireless was probably 60k, more as a manager. That was also when hourly rates were 10 or 11 bucks so mostly commission.
Andrew Eaton a lot of variables. Depends on the carrier and if it's COR or TPR. Usually highest income is at COR. Depends on your hourly and their commission structure. If structure is good and you can talk to people, you can make that normally.
I truly need help i just started a new job doing this have never done it only been there 3 days never actually warped a phone myself and they set me by myself for the next few days today was hell I love the job but I've been cussed and everything else today
Stick with it. Ask questions and if you have down time, spend it shadowing peers and seeing as many different scenarios as you can. There’s a lot of uncomfortable moments being client facing and learning something new. Just don’t take anything personal and keep your head up.
Crant Cardons training helped me make $13,547.41 each month! Freaking amazing guy, and Dan Lok is great too. Tho I am an affiliate, Looking to get into cellular affiliate marketing and yeah. Love Verizon. Any advice definitely here as a student first and you were my first video so thank you 🔥♥️💎📈🤑😎
I am having an interview on Monday. Is it true the schedule is horrible? I really do want my Saturday and Sunday off but I'll take Sunday and Monday off. Idk I don't want to have no life. I will work hard for the time I'm given but I need my time too
In my experience the weekend off shifts go by seniority and business needs. In retail, a full time position its going to be hard to find where weekends and nights aren't required. Best of luck to you.
@@DirkHagandTruth thanks man. Also is it true you can make like 6k a month commissions if you're good? Do you mind sharing what your general check amount was per month?
1.) Have no moral values 2.) Have no usable skills outside of sales 3.) Have less confidence than a car salesman 4.) Enjoy charging unrequired programming fees. Go in there with a negative attitude, quit the job on the same phone call as your coworker and go down the street and get a job that earns you both respect, money, and value.
@@DirkHagandTruth Key question to ask yourself that I was thinking every time I heard people say how addicted to Grant they are/were. What specific skills do you use today that would not have been as great without his books, his content? Could you have learned it faster without the time put into his content and more time put into putting out your own content or selling more goods & services yourself?

if its pre face to face phone interview its going to be a "can you hold a conversation", fill you out, 1st impression kind of thing. Wouldnt worry about tech side as much as selling yourself and just having a energetic positive attitude. good luck.
Went great! I have a phone interview next Thursday!
Do you have any tips for attaching tv (specifically direct TV or Uverse
They come in for phones accessories ect ask about who they have for service then let them know the "savings" they can get if they bundle. The key to TV is bundle and savings always mention how much they can save
PittsburghBallz thank you
No problem brother
RIP KOBE
Hey Cody just saw your video today wondering where you are now and dude I met Grant at the growth con 2 even got the 10X rule signed

Good stuff
I just started at cricket wireless thanks man this helped
bryant how are you doing so far? I just started.
It sucks the pay is too low and commission is low
bryant how much are you getting paid? and I feel so dumb and confused when I'm trying to answer questions to customers. and using RQ. did you get used to it already? or am I just slow. lol
I was getting paid 8.00 hr I work at atnt now it's 11.00 hr plus commission yea the rq sucks and is so slow lol
bryant oh wow, what state are you from? And yes! its slow and confusing, and I feel like my coworkers get annoyed when I ask questions.
I subscribe because you got my attention.
can you get fired if you don't meet your goals??
As with any job if you don't perform to expectation or greater, your tenure will be minimal. But if you are given the proper training, continued developement, proper expectation, and you are committed to being successful, you will hit your goals. I always determined the levels of my staff (A,B,C,D players) by their mindset and are they coachable, not as much on metrics. When I coach and evaluate I look for behaviors not results. If the behaviors are there, the results will reflect.
doo you have a preference of which company to sell for? i have a offer from both sprint and verizon?
Scotty Raul I have worked for Sprint for the last 5 years and love my job. Our CEO Marcelo is doing some great things with company right now and is a great time to come on board. That being said I believe they are the top 2 companies in the game, you will be happy either route if you have the right mentality.
Who did you pick?
@@DirkHagandTruth Very classy way to answer. Subbed
Thanks for making this video
Thank you so much
I heard that you can make upwards of 50k a year at a Verizon store. is this true?
WADE BRADLEY upwards of 50k in a full time sales role is attainable at any of the big 4 carriers. All comes down to how much you hustle.
WADE BRADLEY I work for ATT/customer services and outside sales where you can make 50k a week if you work hard enough... I've seen it 😊.
It is I work for Verizon
Solid info
Better you’re happy with the Mavs now!
How much do you make a year?
Andrew Eaton
Most I made selling in wireless was probably 60k, more as a manager. That was also when hourly rates were 10 or 11 bucks so mostly commission.
Cody Jordan I see, would you say 60k a year is the majority of the time or is there an average that you seem to stick to?
Andrew Eaton a lot of variables. Depends on the carrier and if it's COR or TPR. Usually highest income is at COR. Depends on your hourly and their commission structure. If structure is good and you can talk to people, you can make that normally.
Thanks bro
This guy has the same name as me and has the same voice as me... Wow
GRANT CARDONE!!! Also check out ryan serhant
I couldn’t find you on Twitter can you write what it is
Did you stop making videos now???
Hi, I haven't put out anything recently. Is there something specific you wanted to know?
Crant Cardons training helped me make $13,547.41 each month! Freaking amazing guy, and Dan Lok is great too.
Tho I am an affiliate,
Looking to get into cellular affiliate marketing and yeah.
Love Verizon.
Any advice definitely here as a student first and you were my first video so thank you 🔥♥️💎📈🤑😎
Before you say that (and moreso before you put $$ into 'Gurus') you should really check out the Coffeezilla youtube channel.
Post more sales techniques or give me a call or something
10x baby
1.) Have no moral values
2.) Have no usable skills outside of sales
3.) Have less confidence than a car salesman
4.) Enjoy charging unrequired programming fees.
Go in there with a negative attitude, quit the job on the same phone call as your coworker and go down the street and get a job that earns you both respect, money, and value.
Mad?
Farfetched assumption at best
@@fixyourautomobile you seem upset
@@Alex-u6j8q Perhaps if I still sold phones like a beta-cuck I would be. Life is much better now. Better luck with your future career choices.
MFFL!!!
It’s all a bunch of cherry picking
Grant cardone is a hack and not a very good salesman.... I'd prefer the wolf of wallstreet. For door2door hes the one I look up to....
Very easy to say after the podcast last week. I made this like 5 years ago. True colors were exposed in that painful interview lol.
