Well I have learned something great to-day. Thank you for your effort.
Glad to hear it! ;)
Finally, a video that made me understand how this works
Happy to help fellow gamer! ;)
Impressive, i have definitevly to try this flattening tool.
I was thinking that it can only make lower the ground.
Nice trick !
Happy to help (and exploit the tool) :D
@@MLMariss Well i'm using this tool for a week now, and the results is pretty nice. Your explanation are clear and perfectly right. Congratulation and thank a lot again for it :)
However, the tool is a few slow and if you want make a nice platform plate and still high, it take a long of time. You have to pass severals times on the same place to flatten the ground.
Maybe i lack of praticse but when i see the final shape of your hill (i think we can call it a forteress or a castel at this level :D ), well...i can't imagine how long it all took you to get to this level.
Just for it, respect 👏
It's a long work to build a forteress of this kind, but i think it worth it. Rams are so brutals and pass throw walls like a knife in butter. If wave of invaders become more and more big, with severals rams... well those forteress are a mandatory defense
Perfect strategy to neutralize the enemy. Maybe in real life, this could be the next step to getting the enemy to surrender.
Closest resemblance I can imagine to the real world will be Takeshi Castle with the one big ramp contestants need to climb up and big rocks coming down the path :D If you know the reference - you'll smile a bit in one corner :D
told you months ago to play with landscaping :) glad to see you put it to good use. I played moded game with 1000 population cap removed and had to terraform all across map to get claim of about 70% of large map. Not sure if its good idea for you to try it though. I didnt lag like this till past 1000 and it was old version around october so less optimized. You can also use this tool and method to move highpoint or low point across map. Too much pain though :)
Right you are - I remember your comment! At that point I knew I had to start a new map/game and I hadn't had it in me then! New testing the new updates and changes..here we are - moving mountains. Literally!! :D :D
Need a video on how to get your ramp so perfect. I try but it turns out either too lumpy or too steep and villagers can not use.
Oh, the ramp strategy is opposite - you want to stretch the path leveling as long as it's possible! Meaning - start from far away of the hill itself, drag the longest possible flattening area (1 tile wide) and then make next one on top(!) of the previous so at least 1 tiles doesn't overlap and your 'structure' moves forward to the hill. Repeat in this order moving forward on to the hill - that will bring down the sharp edge and make a smooth path people can climb ;) I hope I explain good enough, let me know if you manage to get your people on that sharp hill of yours :D
Dude you sound like christopher walken explaining and narrating the game, its awesome. lmao
Damn, this is one of the coolest compliments a man can get! Thank you and my pleasure to play the part! :D
Most usual anda inteligente explaind
Thank you - happy to help!
Nothing wrong with your English. I've seen people working for news channels with more accented English. From one non-native English speaker to another. Continue the good work, and it'll get easier and the English will get simpler. One thing that have helped me, is to watch English movies with no subtitles in Norwegian. It have made me be mistaken as British on holidays abroad.
Anyway, thanks for the video. I'm considering if I want to buy it or not.
Thank you for confirmation and advice - actually the same was me! When I start turning off the my native language subtitles, only then I started to improve my English, very solid advice right here!
@@MLMariss Same thing with gaming. Movies and games make it fun to learn, while you are not thinking about learning at all, it just comes naturally. Only, often when I turn off the native language subtitles, I might turn on English subtitles, specially if it's speech with slang and/or dialects in English or with accents that are difficult to understand, or very complex things to learn, then it might be useful to both hear the English word and see how it is spelled.
Have a nice day. Alv, Norway. 🙂
Oh, when the movie/tv series have a Scottish accent..subtitles it is! xD
Thank you and you too!
Mariss did you check the new mechanic with the horse 🐎
Heya, no, not anymore - I've decided to let the game cook and come out from early access, and then jump back. I try to do this for all early access games, so I still have some incentive to play it when it comes out, otherwise I have seen it all (and buggy) :D
nice design
Thank you! Cheers!
