Always liked Mike and bought several of his 45's including this one plus 'My Little Baby', 'What's The Matter' and 'Don't You Think It's Time.' One of the few singers who can still sing even in his 70's.

I brought this song when it first came out, and yes Mike, your voice is better than ever. Great performance indeed.

Mike Berry ( and the brilliant Outlaws) were my first big influence - from the first time I heard "It's Just A Matter Of Time" - I wanted to write and sing pop songs.
55 years later - I'm still hooked on Mike's songs - Chas Hodges - Billy Kuy - and i'm still getting my songs released. Thanks Mike.

still brilliant after all these years and still as witty I have my 22yr old Daughter hooked on are you being served only fools and horses opened all hours, she says we had it good, but what's wrong is that they had it way too good and got disillusioned.

Desert Magazine article, November 1940, has this ballad being written on a "soft toned old rosewood piano" in a stone house of an Indian trader at Ganado, Arizona in the Navajo Nation sometime around the turn of the last century.

The most popular group in Sweden in the early sixties, Hep Stars, had a huge hit with this song in the mid sixties. The keyboard player in this group would ten years later be world famous. His name is Benny Andersson, and was one of the four members of the supergroup ABBA.

Luxembourg on a crystal set? I doubt it unless he lived on the easternmost east coast! The most I could ever get was The Light Programme and The Home Service mixed together. Even mains sets struggled with Luxembourg. Nice story though.

We got Radio Luxembourg on a crystal set in London. The aerial ran all the way along my Mum's clothes line and onto the roof of my Dad's garage. I think listening to this is what made my sister get a subscription to Fabulous 208.
