The Table of Contents for Our Lives
The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.
(Proverbs 18:21)
In a sense, the words that we speak are the table of contents for our lives. What we say gives away who we really are. Jesus said, “For whatever is in your heart determines what you say. A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart”
(Matthew 12:34-35)
The Bible also tells us, “The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences”
(Proverbs 18:21)
Christians who never would consider murder can be guilty of character assassination and backbiting. Yet the Bible warns about this and tells us that it’s wrong. Our words can hurt others.
In 1 Peter 3:10 we read, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies”
Words can chart the course of our lives.
Saying “I do” means marriage for life, or at least it should. Saying “I won’t” to the offer of drugs, alcohol, and premarital or extramarital sex will free us from a lot of misery and the consequences of sin. And saying “I will” to the offer of forgiveness from Jesus Christ will change our eternal destiny.
James points out, “We can make a large horse go wherever we want by means of a small bit in its mouth. . . . In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire” (3:3, 5)
God did not give us vocal cords, a tongue, and lips to tear down and destroy others. Rather, He gave them to us so we can build up others, speak the truth, and worship Him. The highest use of our words is to offer them in praise and honor to God.
Never skip throat day

For the fellow Aussies, theres a brand of protein pasta called Vetta you can find in woolies and coles. Last time i checked it was like 2$ for a bag with 24g of protein per serve
Oii someone mentioned it earlier! Definitely have to keep an eye out 👌🏼
Im from south africa. We have woolies here too. There pasta is about the same price here. Normal pasta though not protein. But funny to know. Its about 11 rand for 1 auf
I waited until my local supermarket would put the 93% ground beef on sale then stock up. I'd get 20 pounds for $60 that's almost a whole month worth of food
for tuna, i highly reccomend trying it mixed with gochujang onions and a little bit of lemon juice.. its surprisingly amazing and you can add a bunch of onions for more satiety
Oiiii 👌🏼👌🏼
I like putting it on a bed of rice with teriyaki sauce, kewpie mayo, and sesame oil. My favorite post workout meal.
100% backing this
Recently made a tuna stew consisting of gochujang with water and some green peas and I gotta say, it brought the taste of the tuna to a whole new level.
Maggi hot and spicy sauce with tuna is out of this world!
its already good on its own
Bro got that green screen villa
👀😂
One warning about tuna - watch your mercury consumption. I had a phase where canned tuna became my main protein in my meal prep, to the point where I was consuming 4 cans a day. And then a friend pointed out mercury, and I did my research and you’re only supposed to have like 2 cans a week😂😂 so just be careful with consuming too much (also goes for other fish like salmon, but tuna is generally worse)
Not usually a problem if you choose light tuna like skipjack also tuna contains selenium which binds to mercury. Sardines and salmon are generally a good alternative to tuna.
Not usually a problem if you choose light tuna like skipjack also tuna contains selenium which binds to mercury. Sardines and salmon are generally a good alternative to tuna.
Yo for real I feel like not enough people know about this. It’s not a huge issue but it’s still relevant. I always tell people to read up on what happened to the imax CEO cause I used to think it was a negligent amount of mercury until I learned his story
Damn I eat tuna like as much as possible I don’t count macros or anything I just love the taste, bummer for me
sardines avoid this probprm
Damn, I think that subway hack is only for Australia. I checked in the states and it’s about eight dollars a serving.
It’s $5 a serving here in the southern states 😊
$8/per in Iowa
It's not a very good hack here either. Where I checked it's $54 for a wrap platter, around 2,600 calories in total. You're stuck with the platter options they list which means you're getting anywhere between 23g of protein for the chicken strip wrap to 15g for the leg ham one, or 4g of fat in the leg ham one to 14.9g in the Italian BMT. On a dollar per calorie basis it's pretty crappy.
@@hefudgedafrog It's pretty much only useful if you don't have a fridge lol. Otherwise, people are better off buying some deli meat, a couple veggies, and some tortillas and you can make that shit at home. Tastes better, costs less, and you can make it however you want to fit macros. People are just too lazy to do completely regular tasks like cook or make a sandwich sadly.
@@Wicha329There's that, yes, laziness. But some people are too busy to be cooking and making food, some of us just dont have the time in the day.
That Subway player hack is lowkey genius. I might give that a shot
I know right? Thought the same, makes a great snack/breakfast whatever, it's just lowkey awesome
I didn't even know they sold platters

So how much would be for a platter? Does anyone try it yet?😅
@@edwardhsieh5124 in Australia its $54 for a wrap platter and you get 16 of them, haven't tried it but I'd imagine it would taste good and its very cheap

honestly what ive learned from being a person that used to comment negatives, the big reason most people poke so many holes is cause theyre not actually doing it, recently ive been choosing healthier lower calorie foods and its super easy and doesnt take long to find low calorie budget options for pretty much every meal. awesome video, well put together as usual🤘🏻
Ayee appreciate it ❤️🙏🏼
Plus look for sells at all grocery stores near you. You are right people who complain have no interest in doing it
if you wanna go even more budget most of the times ground pork is cheaper than ground beef, i mix half of each and make a bolognese sauce with lots of onions and garlic and use it for pasta, rice, veggies, basically everything tbh, delicious and cheap
Exactly! Anyone saying it's "too expensive" to eat healthy is just gonna say it takes too much time, they don't have the equipment, they can't eat those foods, and they can't cook at all. At that point you gotta realize they're grasping at straws to look for reasons not to better themselves. After seeing this same pattern over and over again, I decided that what matters is if you WANT to do it, or you DON'T!
@@Wicha329never understood that either. Junk food doenst last and it's more expensive at this point. I ate healthy on accident trying to stop my spending from being so wild.
I've recently run into a problem where consuming too much tuna has spiked the mercury levels in my blood. I was eating a can a day for months and was feeling tired all the time, i stopped eating it and I stopped feeling tired. It's okay to eat tuna, however do watch out with how much to eat it.
Ooh yeah the video was too long to mention, but i definitely wouldnt have it everyday 😭
I had 2 tins of tuna daily for 2 years and I'm fine 🤣 I literally lived off just tuna potatoe cheese and pasta for 2 years... Are you buying cheaper tuna if so that's probably your issue
@@MrUltimaPro true soldier hahaha. Yeah I did buy the cheaper ones.
I work in canned salmon to avoid too much tuna and Hg problems.
a can a day is most def safe.

Ah yeah. The budget version starts with a ready made sandwich. Makes sense
It'll never be more cost effective to purchase from a shop like Subway my friend
Simplest meal prep I have is 1 pound of 93-7 ground beef, one box of protein pasta noodles and 1/2 cup low fat cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup no fat mozzarella cheese and 1/3 cup almond milk (optional just makes it creamier). Makes around 4ish servings
I always love when people mix satire and actual advice, top notch content!!
Haha thank you!! 🙏🏼
actually very good options in here. not some random, obscure foods/brands that no ones heard of lol
Cool meal prep ideas! I would recommend some plant protein sources to mix it up (for health and environmental reasons, although I'm a dairy farmer myself)

Here is how I hit 153 grams per day on €10 budget in Europe (Netherlands):
1. Breakfast | XXL Nutrition protein pancake: 21 grams of protein, €1,06 per serving.
2. Lunch | Lidl Protein Pudding: 20 grams of protein, €1,39 per serving (often 50% off tho).
3. Snack | 150 grams chicken filet | 39 grams of protein, €1,28 per serving
4. Dinner | my wife cooks and we eat healthy, on average 25 grams of protein, costs vary... Probably around €3-4.
5. Pre-workout | no protein, €0,93 per serving.
6. Protein Shake | 49 grams of protein, €1,58 per serving.
Total protein: 153 grams
Costs per day: €9,50 (approximately).
Calories not included, since it varies per day due to dinner. For my Summer shred I try to stay below 2200 calories. With the list above I'm around 2000-2100 calories.
I appreciate the knowledge bro but for €9.50 /$10.32/£8.13 a day depending on how many cheat days you have this is quite dear.
Do you tend to eat like this 7x a week?
@@abimbolaytim assuming he's using the meal prep maths behind it, 10$ worth of meals a day for 7 days adds up to $70 worth of groceries for a whole week, which is on average what I tend to spend on the budget friendlier side, which is not too shabby.
@@strike.22 I see in my opinion I feel like $70 a week/ $300 a month (x52, /12) is a bit too much for just one person. But groceries might be more expensive where you guys live.
In the UK I could do my weekly shop for probably under £50 (that’s being generous).
@@abimbolayt I do. I only value having a different dinner every other day. The rest I purely eat for protein/low calorie meals.
€9,50/day sounds expensive, but I'm in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and only spend a little above the national average of €7,90/day. However, my salary is far above the average person (almost 1,5x). So it's not like I notice spending €300/month on food for myself. Food is barely 10-15% of my total monthly costs.
Tuna is a great source for heavy metals, gotta get your metals in.
Bro looks like his eyes are going to melt off
barilla!!! protein!! pasta!!! the best protein pasta ever created, literally is just regular pasta
100% agree! once i found out about protein pasta it was a huge money saver, for me its around 1.50€ o 2€ for every bag and depending on the size of the bag i can get 2/3 solid meals out of it. obviously not to be had everyday but a good cheap option 💪
100% I’m sensitive to gluten and even gluten free pasta would upset my stomach. For some reason the protein pasta doesn’t mess with me at all and I can’t taste a difference!
Do you guys know how to make it? I’m new to this stuff sorry 😅

To eat 150g of decent quality proteins it costs around 20€ everyday. Sad
I mean even just chicken has 120 grams per pound, and a pound of chicken breast or thigh is usually less than five bucks. Still expensive tho
@@BackstageChief yes chicken and eggs is the cheapest option here also, but also i need to pay premium to get chickens that weren't hard drugged their entire lives.. starting to think fitness and health is just hard money gated
@@mythologiasend3264 to an extent yeah, but I'd definitely start with good diet before putting money into training your physique. Ofc a good diet is beneficial to way more of your body than gains, so I can kinda justify the price
you intrigued me, so i decided to approximate what i usually eat:
3 organic eggs - 18g protein - $2
200g organic cooked chicken - 70g protein- $3
170g organic plain greek yogurt - 18g protein -
Wait. No it doesn't .Midprice whey 25 euro per kg. 2.50 per 100g. 5 bucks for200. And you just hit 150 g pure protein. Sometimes you find cheaper powder. Vegan powders suck taste wise but can be much cheaper. 200g cheap ham from aldi is...1.60 euro? That's 40 g protein. 500 g quark 1.40 euro. Gotten more expensive sadly. Still. That's 60 g of protein too.
13 egs bam 160 grams of protein

Tuna straight from can is good as a late night snack but it u have a chance get some spicy mayo with sesame oil and seeds and seaweed flake rice with slight bit of vinegar and make rice ball with them they go pretty hard
For years, I battled with unwanted weight gain. I just couldn't seem to lose those extra
calories no matter how much I exercised.
But I finally realized that it was my diet which is the main culprit because I was not
consuming enough protein and fiber while constantly eating snacks that contained sugar and
lots of palm oil which left me craving that for more.
Then, I discovered a game-changer, Alpino Rolled Oats and it's peanut butter.
This combo is a dream, it's packed with high protein to keep me feeling full and help me
build muscle, plus tons of fiber to maintain my weight. But the best part is this is unbelievably
delicious! No boring protein shakes or bland oatmeal for me. Alpino Oats and peanut butter
satisfy my cravings without any added sugar. It's the perfect solution for anyone looking to
lose weight without sacrificing taste.
